One thing I can’t get over, is how in the hell did Sherlock have as much trust as he did in john. I know they are friends, and/or ‘maybe just some plot gayness between them. But like Season S4 E2, he gets choked by culverton and he just expects john to find him.

He does find him and save him, but , sherlock you expected to die, if it wasn’t for john coming to your aid because he was a step behind you. Like he was on a death mission, knowing culverton was going to kill him. A catch for a catch aye, but no word’s honestly. That is some 100% trust they have.

As well as so many other episodes where john, Mycroft or lestrade, were both just barely behind sherlocks lead. All of which it almost ends up compromised for Sherlock had people not come to help finish the job of catching the people. And don’t get me started on reichenbach fall, i wanted to cry.

Love sherlocks whole plot, and character dynamics. As you know he is cunning, but hes far from a “sociopath” of any sort; he cares to much for those close to him. He’s empathetic and aware.

Despite sherlock being a drug addict, throughout the series, and leaping towards the face of death like a laughing matter. Its so suprising so many people still see his character as someone who is a bad guy, he was a man once and always mistreated, but now a smart detective that puts himself in the front lines at the cost of himself. Just can’t get over this, been rewatching the series on loop, and this just sticks out to me so much.

Not to mention the episodes of the abominable bride, and the great game w jim moriarty.

Does anyone have anymore BBC sherlock series input?.

there’s no way sherlock fucking holmes believes it was “just surgery” when mary shot him. he did not drag his ass up those study in pink stairs just to come back to life and say “she save me 😃”

honestly i’m convinced mary was just embarrassed that she didn’t think to shoot him in the head despite having incredible aim.

What if Merlin wasn’t supposed to be immortal.

We know he can do magic subconsciously, he states that he was making things float around the room before he could talk. He is literally magic incarnate.

What if it was what Kilgarah said that made him immortal. What if Kilgarah was wrong, but since he told Merlin that Arthur was supposed to return Merlin never died. What if Arthur was never supposed return. So Merlin will wait. He will wait until humanity is nothing more than dust buried in the dirt. Arthur will never return, but by telling Merlin that Arthur would, Kilgarah cursed Merlin to wait.

Merlin will never leave, never let go no matter how long has passed. His hope may dwindle as the millennial pass, but it never dies. He stays on the off chance that if he does come back, he will need his servent. Arthur never could last long without him.

So he waits. Never aging. Never letting go. A false hope given by a manipulative old dragon, but…

If he does let go and Arthur comes back only to find him gone…

i’m so sorry i would NEVER forgive my significant other for shooting my best friend let alone a shot that caused a flatline. It would be done and over the second i found out a gun was even raised to them. John Watson should NEVER have forgiven mary and i will never forgive him for that.

everytime i re enter my major bbc sherlock phase (as in not the passive enjoying i normally do but the like overpowering my life phase) i realize how little redeeming characteristics post season 2 john watson has. if i wasn’t so tired id write such a long list of every mistake he made and i think id only be able to make like 2 points for good choices

You know what, Arthur shouldn't be mad at Merlin for not telling him about his magic BECAUSE PEOPLE COME OUT THEN THEY READY, and in the show he was forced to come out at the end

You can't be mad at the person who didn't come out sooner, they had their reasons

Prompt:

Arthur’s known about Merlin’s magic almost from the beginning.

When he first discovered it, he tried to warn Merlin, discreetly - commenting on the dangers of magic without addressing Merlin’s magic specifically so he won’t have to arrest him. Over time though, he slowly learns - from Merlin - that magic isn’t all that his father has always claimed.

After this, it becomes a bit of a game to them; Arthur warning Merlin about magic, and Merlin coming up with the most outrageous of stories to try to explain it away.

But then the day comes when Arthur realises that Merlin never knew that Arthur always knew the truth.

One of the big requests for the Mycroft Holmes Simulator: Mildly Expanded Edition (a name I'm regreting because I've kind of built it again from scratch hah) was that Mycroft should be able to sit in an armchair.

And now he can!

I haven't worked out him standing up yet though so he just scooches around in a really funny way.
