Sorry to add onto a post but I have a story like this about myself and it's kinda long for tags!

When I was very little, like 2-3 years old, my mom and I lived with my great grandma. One day my mom came home from work to find my granny sitting on the kitchen floor, holding me, sobbing uncontrollably. My mom ofc thought something was wrong, like I had been hurt or something, but no.

My granny had 7 sons and 2 daughters, and lots of grandchildren; I was her first great grandchild. Her first daughter passed away when she was only a few years old, from an illness I don't quite remember anymore. My granny also didn't mop her floors with a mop, she got down on her hands and knees and scrubbed the floors with a rag, all her life.

What had happened was, I had seen her down on hands and knees and climbed up on her back, trying to ride her around the kitchen like a horse. And the reason she'd started crying was because out of all her children and grandchildren, the only one who'd ever done that to her before was her first daughter, the one she'd lost.

I don’t remember where this story was from but it was about how the writers older brother died when he was young and years later had a son who, had never met the brother had the same mannerisms as him. Ok I think I remember the key words were “my son drinks from the water fountain like my brother” or something

#keyboard because i was taught how to type Properly with my fingers on the home keys so i can just tactile muscle memory type Real Fast #years and years of typing on smartphone screen keyboards and yeah i Vaguely Know where everything is but it's not the same #on a keyboard i can feel the separation between the keys so i know where i am and when i type on my phone i type things like jwybosrd #sometimes your finger lands in the middle of two letters and the phone picks which one you were going for incorrectly #but if you land in the middle on a physical keyboard you can feel which way you need to adjust if you know the keyboard well enough #also i just like pushing physical buttons. more satisfying #polls

#allegedly my first movie in theaters was the lion king but the first one i REMEMBER was a reshowing of the wizard of oz #idk if it was one of those like classic movie reshowings that theaters do sometimes or if it was some sort of remaster/re-release #but i do remember it clearly! it was with a relative i very rarely saw and i had a lot of fun and wished she visited more often #she gave me my first cat a year or so after that :) it followed her home and i was the first person she thought of to take care of it #i was like. 6 or 7 at the time and had to beg my mom to actually agree lmao but i got the cat 💖 #text #tag things
