I have this head canon that in-universe in The Black Tapes and Tanis, none of Nic’s friends or coworkers have ever seen him and Terry in the same room. Everyone’s in on the joke that Nic isn’t real, oh it’s just a weird thing Terry does to make himself more ~mysterious~, but Alex and Paul indulge him because they think it’s funny.

I saw a mention of it and checked Apple podcasts - they’re gone! Maybe it means they’re going to post a new version of it as it’s been years since it ended...????
