I'm still on self-imposed pause while I let some injuries heal up, I couldn't miss celebrating Calypso's Birthday!! She deserves the WORLD!!
Something about the pure gender joy of this absolutely lights up my soul. Gender is somehow such a controversial issue right now - when it's really just about expression and celebration of the divine self! Seeing Wee Jon have this glorious moment, and knowing the sincerity Kristian Nairn brought to this character, is just elevated to something so personal and dear to me. This wasn't a punchline, this wasn't a throwaway little inside joke from a panel, this was Calypso's birth and I'm so fucking happy she's here.
Hak Baker - Venezuela Riddim 🎵 Chill and nostalgic and nice
Well, that was a fun journey! Very cool song with immaculate good timey vibes, and a video where you get to watch people get sloshed at a wedding reception. I loved it!
"We got our friends, we got the vibes just like we should"
"These are the best days of our lives"
I was thinking about how those times like weddings when everyone is together and just having fun really are some of the best times we have in life. And then at the end when they showed Venezuelan lawmakers fist fighting, it just puts it in this perspective of there is just billions of people all over the world having good times and bad times, and just living lives that are a lot more similar than different. Hoping for more weddings and less fist fights for everyone. Especially for you.
Hey there you fantastic artist! What a beautiful song! Was not familiar with the artist at all, but I love her voice and the nice soothing vibe of it, and I'm going to be listening to more of her for sure.
Nothing in the world belongs to me
But my love mine, all mine, all mine
I've been thinking similar things to this. I have a loved one who will be exiting life sometime fairly soon. I've been asking myself how I want to remember these last times with her, and how life will be when she is gone, and nobody on this earth is ours to keep. And while that is heartbreaking, we do get to keep the love. So, I want to be sure I've got a lot of it.
Hi hi! Thank you for the song. I have actually been really into Noah Kahan recently, but this is one I hadn't heard yet.
I really liked this. One of those songs that reminds you that everyone struggles, and nobody has the answers. And if you're growing sideways, it's still growth, and who's to say what makes a good life and what doesn't. A good reminder for me today. Great song!
