I need all of’em
More than one to love | 2 | Jake Park x Reader
This has not been proof-read yet.
The crunching of everyone’s foot against the ground almost drove you insane. The Jake’s kept on insisting that this building you’re staying in is just a minute away. Yet, you feel like several hours have passed despite there not being such thing as time in the Entities realm.
“When are we there?” You have asked that question for god knows how long. You could feel some of the Jake’s growing impatient also with Jake 1 as he seemingly lead you all to nowhere. “I have the feeling you don’t know where we are supposed to go.”
“No, no. I know where to go.” Jake 1 stands still for a second and places a finger on his lips, looking around as if he had lost the path. You could swear he only said that to reassure himself.
“Really? Cause I’m pretty sure we’ve gone in a circle for some time now.” Jake 3 points at the oh-so-familiar rock. Its weird shape helped you remember it and keep it in mind as a landmark.
“I remember this rock.” You mumble quietly, hoping the Jake’s won’t start a fight right now. Your entire energy has been drained by walking alone and having to cater towards 5 Jake’s. They all looked like they were ready to explode, but one glance at your exhausted form helped them to keep their cool.
“It was this path. I know it.” Jake 1 kept his self-assured posture, and that alone made you trust his judgment a little more. Jake’s confidence infected you like an airborne disease. Whenever a situation may seem hopeless he managed to see the good in things and turn everything around in your favor. Those were some of the many qualities you admired and loved in him. But he can’t help himself as well as he’d like to.
“Do you see that fog?” Jake 4 pointed towards the black mist that had formed into some sort of wall. The Entity always keeps fog around the realms to surveillance everyone makes sure everybody behaves according to her rules. But never has she built a wall with the haze to keep people away. Your head perked up. Maybe she’s trying to hide something? Many questions started gnawing at your brain as your undying curiosity grew. The questions in your head reached a crescendo, making you feel a little dizzy.
Jake 2 and Jake 3 were the first ones to pass the smoke to test the waters. After several seconds of nothing happening, one of them emerged and pointed for everyone to follow. Jake 1 was now glued to your side, holding your hand tenderly as he’d usually do.
“Are you okay? You look a little lightheaded.” Jake always managed to find something to worry about when you face even the tiniest of trouble. Even an ounce of discomfort makes Jake slowly fall into panic mode and try his absolute best to comfort you. But his own conundrums have left you running in circles, trying to look for an answer in a void full of questions.
“I’m fine, thanks.” You were, in fact, not fine, but you couldn’t bring yourself to burden Jake with your own insignificant problems. Even though he constantly acts insouciant, you often saw right through his facade to see all the pressure building on his shoulders.
“Here.” He puts his arm on your shoulder and pushes you closer to his side, letting you lean on him for stability. You indulged in his warmth, the smell of a wonderful forest morning made you daydream about the perfect life you had planned if you and Jake were to ever escape this place. It’s a fantasy of yours that hasn’t quite left your head yet, even though it might never become true. Jake leans down and kisses your forehead, putting your mind at ease. The dizziness vanished for a split second. Or the butterflies in your stomach outweighed the pain. Either way, Jake’s touch could heal all wounds before time could. And in the realms where there is no time, there is Jake.
“You know, you can’t lie to me.” He looks up ahead the way but still reads you like an open book. Growing up, he learned how to read the emotions of others to know what to say or what to do. Forced to spare the image of his fathers, Jake became hyper-aware of his surroundings and the people around him. Fake people (as Jake likes to call them) shrouded him almost all his life to the point where he’d sometimes question his own family.
“It’s worth a shot.” You try to lighten up the mood, but your head falls deeper into his side when you notice he didn’t smile back. “You always know what I’m thinking. It’s unfair…” You felt his chest vibrate as he chuckled.
“Never thought about it that way. Be happy you weren’t forced to learn that.” His grip grows unnaturally tighter. You definitely hit a vein there but do not know which. Jake rarely talks about his past life. He’ll always know how to turn the topic around in your life. And if you press hard he’ll crawl back in his shell away from you to calm himself down. It’s not that he’s angry at you, but he’s mad at the world that wronged him since the day he was born.
“Learn what? Sheltering myself from my partner when they’re worried about you? Never answering their questions about your life when they’re worried about you? ” You stopped in your tracks, facing Jake now fully. As much as your mind told you to drop this topic, your heart longed for answers that could mend the rifts that have formed slowly over your relationship. From the beginning til now, you know the longer you wait the cracks could potentially ruin both you and Jake before ultimately ruining your relationship. Jake’s face relaxed after the initial shock.
“We’re not having this conversation right now.”
“And when will we?” You took both of his hands and looked up to him. The pain in your eyes made him look back in shame, disgusted at himself for failing to keep you happy. He made your happiness and safety his responsibility, even if you’re capable of caring for yourself. Every wound on you pains him just as much, every tear you shed makes him tear up, and the bright smile you show him makes his shine too.
Jake sighs and throws his head back before his gaze finally meets yours. “Right now is not the time. The other Jake’s are probably waiting on us. We’ll talk about this after this issue is solved. Okay?”
“Promise me you will.”
“I promise.”
“Hey! Right here!” One of the Jake’s called from afar and waved his hands towards you and Jake 1. He stood next to a giant building that resembles an old laboratory by the looks of it. The bricks and wooden planks littered across the clearing gave you a mental image of the laboratory’s original size until everything got destroyed.
You still leaned against Jake 1’s side, but when Jake 2 noticed your fatigued expression, he stopped himself from complaining. You could almost see him zip his mouth shut the moments his eyes landed on you. “Took you two long enough.”
“We got sidetracked. And they weren’t feeling well.” Jake 2 brushed his hand in your hair and smiled at you.
“I can tell. Me and the other Jake’s prepared a bed inside. We found a bunch of blankets and pillows.”
“Blankets and pillows? In a laboratory?” You cringed at the weariness of your own voice.
“Yeah. I think somebody used to live here and do experiments. There are a bunch of weird notes with tests and ingredients.” Jake 2 opens the heavy door, making a loud screeching sound that alerts all the other Jake’s to your presence.
“Just one? But this place this huge.” You finally let go of Jake 1 and instead tried to find security against one of the counters. The big table in the middle took the most space away from the already large entrance hall.
“That’s what I think is weird. The way the original author wrote these notes always changes in tone, making it seem like different people wrote them. But the handwriting stayed the same.”
“Whatever. We can investigate that later. You need to rest, love.” Jake mumbled the nickname he gave you, but you could guess that all the other Jake’s understood what he said. Jake 4 and Jake 3 emerge from one of the doors and motion for you to enter. Jake 1 and Jake 2 held onto your side again, leading you into the room. You gasped at the sight.
A beautiful dark blue curtain with a star pattern has been attached to the ceiling. Jake 3 opened the curtain further to reveal a makeshift bed they created with the blankets and pillows. The unusually bright colors made you feel nostalgic as if you were a child building a pillow fort. The pillows had been placed in a way to look like that, and you could swear the Jake’s did that intentionally. Maybe they wanted to live a part of their childhood once again?
“Aw, that’s so sweet!” You didn’t hesitate and dropped in face first, engulfed in the warmth and the softness of the fluffy blankets. “I never want to wake up.” You giggled along with the Jake’s behind you that are chuckling at your excitement.
“What are you standing here for? Come on!” You pull Jake 3 by his arm into the makeshift bed followed by Jake 2, 1, and 4. They all try to cuddle into you, but only Jake 2 and Jake 3 could lean into your sides. The other 2 had to find their place in the cuddle pile awkwardly. But you were confident that were was enough space for the 4.
Wait.
Hold on.
“Where’s the fifth Jake?” You called out. The other Jake’s look at you wide-eyed and then at each other, waiting for an answer to come.

Title: The Red Velvet Christmas Spirit
❗️Trigger Warning❗️: Character Death
Jake presses his forehead against the window of a small, antique shop. He stares directly at a gingerbread house- no, mansion. It’s the most decorative, elegant piece of food he’s ever seen. Right next to it are fruitcake carved to resemble cars, and chocolate chip cookies to represent bushes.
It looks delicious. But, Jake is almost %100 sure that it’s stale or maybe even fake. Everytime he goes by this shop, it’s there. He’s intrigued.
‘I’m gonna go in.’ He tells himself. He pushes himself away from the window and steps his bare feet into the snow. It doesn’t bother him one bit, he can’t even feel the cold anymore, despite being in his pajamas. The only “warmth” Jake gets is his silk, gray pants he wore and his red robe. The white shirt underneath is so thin, it doesn’t contribute much.
He’s perfectly content with this. He gets to wear pajamas, and nobody pays attention to him. In this big, snowy shopping district, everyone is focusing on getting their gifts. Many don’t stop to see the Christmas lights or a robotic Santa waving at them. They’re busy raiding colorful stores, uncaring of who’s in their way. A win-win for Jake, he thinks. Jake opens the door of the shop and walks in. He’s careful not to bump into any antiques, especially the maiden dolls gathered around the floor.
Jake raises a brow. This is an accident waiting to happen.
He looks around the store. So many figures and mini statutes. He sees a Santa with red paint chipped from his shoulder. Rudolph and the other reindeers. On a shelf lies plush blankets with the holiday’s designs. Trees, presents, one of them is all black with cups of hot cocoa and marshmallows. Jake stares at that one a little too long. He’d love some hot cocoa right now.
He looks away, eyes catching ruby and emerald jewelry. Eh. Not his interest. With an exhale, he finally directs his attention towards the ginger mansion. The thing is big enough to be a proper dollhouse. He wouldn’t be surprised to find miniature furniture in there. Jake leans in. Close enough to waft the smell towards him.
Brown sugar, fruit, and candy.
His mouth feels like it’s watering. There’s nothing but a savory feeling, all of that sugar and he can’t even eat it. Jake sighs. Back to looking around again.
He navigates away from the gingerbread mansion. He reaches to the back of the store, where he finds a wooden stand with orange lights wrapped around it. Behind are two elderly women, one tall, the other short. They’re laughing and chatting, Jake can’t make out what they’re saying because of one thing.
Behind them is a shelf of toys, nutcrackers, and a single snow globe. It’s a little bigger than most he’s ever seen. Inside the glass is a puppy cuddling a kitten in a pile of fake snow. They’re both made of silver. The smaller animal has its ears down, while the other is up and lively. Jake stares at it in awe, it’s the perfect gift. He needs that. Now.
In a single reckless move, he puts both hands on the counter and damn near hurls himself over. He accidentally bumps into the shelf, causing it to shake and the elderly women to scream. They move out of the way of the falling shelf while Jake sits there. He focuses entirely on that snow globe slipping off its stand. As soon as it fell, Jake catches it while the shelf crashes upon him.
He’s okay.
Jake isn’t even bothered. He sits in a big hole between the wooden splinters. The snow globe remains untouched, no damage taken whatsoever. The rest of the items are broken and shattered, pieces are scattered in a dangerous circle around him. He just ruined the shop, but he does care? Absolutely not, he wants to live a little.
This is for a special someone anyway.
Jake gets up, allowing glass and ceramic pieces to fall from his messy hair. Happy, he began leaving the shop with the snowglobe, ignoring the ladies arguing behind him. Jake swings open the shop’s door, leaving it open long enough for a man dressed as an Elf to waddle in and gasp at the mess.
“The hell happened in here!?”
“Linda’s messing with shit again, that’s what happened!”
“Don’t listen to her! Come on in Ray, don’t listen to her!”
. . .
There you are.
Lying in bed, pale and possibly cold. The wintry breeze through the window he opened doesn’t help, but he knows you can’t feel. You’re both similar, but in different planes of the world. Jake leans against the wall, holding the snow globe in hand. His expression is solemn, but he doesn’t want to cry. Not now, he’ll save these tears for something special.
You don’t move in an inch. Not that you could in such a small hospital bed. Jake thinks they should make bigger ones. For you, most definitely, but for others too. ‘I guess’. He says. Next to you are three people sitting in chairs. The businessman who is his father, a dark-skinned woman who is Jake’s mother, and a casually dressed young man, Jake’s brother. His mother and his brother are tearing up, while his father leaned forward with a prayer.
Jake feels like he should cry now. But no, not when he’s about to reunite with you again. He pushes himself off the wall and walks over to a night stand. He sets the snowglobe down, reaches around it and winds it up. He kept turning until it stopped and wouldn't budge.
Your fingers twitch. He knows and you know. He knows you know.
It’s time for Jake to take you.
He shakes the globe and lets go of the switch. A beautiful tune plays, soft, yet cheery. The snow falls elegantly around the silver pup and kitten, glitter sticks to the metal to glorify its shine. The song drowns out your heart monitor, luring Jake into a peaceful trance.
He’s impatient, but he can wait.
Jake’s mother wraps her hand around yours, squeezing it occasionally. The woman says a few words to you that Jake recognizes in his language. ‘I love you. I love you so much. Say hi to my son for me. I love you.’
Jake lowers his head. He can’t stand to hear her cry, it tears at his soul, his heart. Music. Music. Oh yes, the music. The ethereal tune continues playing while the switch moves slowly. It’s halfway done. Jake focuses on you entirely. You’re still unresponsive, he can tell the song is getting to you. Only you and him can hear it now.
Jake’s father kept going with his prayer. He’s mumbling words, his face is red and flushed. Jake knows what he’s saying, he’s hoping for a good afterlife for you. He’s wishing you the best, while simultaneously wishing for you to come back. Like Jake, his father is family oriented. Even though he doesn’t show it much, the fact that he’s sitting there hoping for your recovery is enough to show. He acted very much the same when Jake passed.
The music stops. The tune fell with a high-pitched melody, soon fading into silence. The snow surrounding the baby animals also ceased, it all made a snow pile again.
At the same time, you flatlined. The heart monitor stopped beeping, the noise is quickly replaced by Jake’s mother’s cries. A nurse rushes in to console his family, while another hurries in the grab supplies. Jake stares ahead. This is the last time he’ll see them, but it won’t last forever.
“Where’d you get that?”
Jake turns around and finds you behind him. Looking alive and neat as ever. As per the Christmas spirit, you also wore pajamas. Seeing your face again.. Jake smiles. And he smiles big. The tears finally come to his dark-brown eyes, but not in sadness. He’s happy. This is the happiest he’s ever been since he left you. “Antique shop. I-it was, I got- (Y/n), come here.” He pulls you into a tight hug. He feels your arms around him soon after, gripping his clothes in an emotional way.
“I missed you, Jake.” You say to him, burying your face in his red robe. Jake doesn’t comment on the dampness on his shirt, he gives you a moment to collect yourself. He’s been gone for a while, he left the world before you did. But you’re here now, that’s all that matters to him.
“I missed you too.” Over your shoulder, Jake catches a glimpse of his saddened family, especially his mother. He needs to leave. He doesn’t want to spend the day in melancholy. “Grab your gift. I’ll take you to the shopping district around the corner.”
You pull away. No more tears, no wet shirt. Most of your human qualities are gone, but you can touch him. That’s all you ever needed. Letting go of Jake, you reach up and briefly kiss his lips, to which he responds with a small chuckle. You grab the snowglobe, take one last look at your body, then turn to Jake.
You’re ready.
“What store are we going to?” You ask while Jake hops himself on the window frame.
“The mall. It has this bakery I want you to look at. I bet it’s got some gingerbread mansions too..”
“You mean gingerbread house?”
“Whatever it’s called.” Jake gestures you towards him, waiting until you’re right by his side. He grabs your hand gently, then squeezes once you hold his.
“Come on, I got the whole day to spend with you.”

🥺🥺 My heart just can’t-
❄️💙Winter love | Jake Park x Reader💙❄️
Wearing each other clothes
The winter days haven't heen all that merciful on you and Jake ever since the first snow fell. You've noticed the weariness of your body and how it grew heavier as a feeling of thousand hammers pounding in your head started to rose. Living off-the-grid sure proofs to be a challenge in the cold winter nights. You trembled, wearing your warm winter coat only helped a little. Going outside was a rare occurrence for you, you never saw the need to sew warm and thick clothes for yourself if you're staying inside anyways. Oh, how your laziness was the demise of you.
You decided to steal one of Jake's coat, thinking he won't miss it anyways since he got many already. He's usually the one that goes outside for supplies so you had to make warm and robust clothes for him. They were extremely thick and warm looking, making you feel a little envious. Putting it on, you almost melted at the wanrth embracing your body along with Jake's welcoming smell. You dipped your face in the oversized coat, breathing in heavily and imaging he was back home with you, cuddling you in that cold winter night.
Speaking of the devil, you heard the front door opening and saw Jake stepping inside in a haste. Outside, you heard the heavy snowfall happening along with the howling of the wind. The snowflakes complimented Jake's black hair cutely, you thought.
Jake took his jacket off and looked towards you on the couch with a loving smile. When he caught you with coat, he raised a brow and chuckled slightly. Approaching the couch, he wraps his arms around your waist, making you sit on his lap facing him. He buried his still cold face in your neck and left little kisses while asking what you were doing. You explained to him how cold you felt and that only his clothes could warm you up. His attempts at hiding his sly grin prooved to be useless as you saw right through him. He kissed your nose and rested his forehead against yours.
"You can wear my clothes as often as you want. I don't mind seeing you in them" He totally loves seeing you in them.
Sleepy mornings
You and Jake cuddled through the entire night to keep each other warm, yet you couldn't help yourself but grow more and more excited to when the morning arrives. Jake promised you that you'll take a walk together after you begged him for ages. But taking a walk isn't all you wanted. No, you had something else prepared for the scruffy forest man. Something cold.
Blinking your eyes open, the sun's morning rays never made you feel more excited than before. You moved your body up and attempted to stretch your arms only to be pulled down again, face to face with Jake who's eyes were still closed. His soft breathing told you he was still asleep but the smile that twitched up a few times said otherwise.
"Jake?" You moved your hand to trace it on his cheek to his lips, stroking his upper lip with your fingertips. "I know you're not asleep"
"Hmm..." He groaned and wrapped his arms even tighter around your waist, bringing you even closer to him. You giggled, continuing tracing your fingers now on his bottom lip until...
"Hey!" You pulled your finger away after Jake nibbled on it, making him laugh wholeheartedly despite being obviously exhausted. "Jerk..." He kisses you on the lips as an apology which you gladly took. He pulled away before things could get too frisky, making you whine at the lack of contact of his lips against yours. He chuckles at your reaction.
"G'mornin" He yawns and stretches his arms, holding you again when you two sat up.
"Morning to you too, sleepyhead" You moved his hair away from his face and planted a loving peck on his lips. He pouts and nears his face threatingly close to yours.
"m not a sleepyhead, am awake" He yawns once again. You stroke his hair a little.
"Hey, stop!" You giggle as he nibbles at the tip of your nose.
"You were cold, I'was just tryin' to keep ya warm..."
"Sure, you were just tired. Admit it!" You held his face in both of your hands and he did the same. You two gave each other serious expressions with a hint of playfulness in your eyes. He was the first to break from your little staring contest, kissing you gently, making you melt in an instant. You leaned further into his touch, his comforting warmth could put every blanket to shame. But sadly, for your plan to work you had to pull away and quickly get ready.
"Come on, you promised we'd take a walk together!" You hoped out of the bed and opened your closet excitedly.
"Alright, just gimme 5 minutes, snowflake"
Playing in the snow
"Woah, I never expected I'd see this flower here..." He crouches down to a specific flower that still hasn't lost it's beauty through all the snow and coldness. In fact, it looked like it complimented the snow perfectly.
"Oohh, will this be another amazing flower lecture from the one and only Jacob Park!" You excitedly crouched next to him, staring at the flower. Jake loved talking about the nature to you and all the plants here. Although not a botanist, he knew his fair share and was always delighted to tell you everything he knows. Sometimes, you concentrate more on his excitement than what he's actually saying. Looking towards him, you had to stop yourself from bursting out in a laugh after you saw him pout childishly.
"Only if you stop using my full name" He crosses his arms and now it was his turn to chuckle as you clinged to his arm. He still very much hates it if others use his full name, especially if you do it to tease him.
"No promises, Jacob!" He retaliated your smirk with his own which was a reaction you didn't expect from him. Still, you didn't let him see your confidence crack for a second. Instead, you crossed your arms and stood up, Jake mimiced your actions.
"If you won't stop then I'll..." He crouches down to scoop something from the ground but your gaze was focused somewhere else.
"You will what- Oof" You expected lots of things from your favorite forest man but you never expected him to throw a snowball directly at your face. Your face immediately froze up and you cringed slightly when the ice started to melt. Jake grabbed one of your shoulders and laughed his heart out as it took you several second to proceed what had happened.
"Hey! I wanted to do that first..." You pouted and crossed your arms like a little child that didn't get their favorite gift for Christmas.
"You can always do it third" His giggle slowly died down as he crouched down again.
"Why third?-" He quickly threw another snowball your way that hit your chest this time.
"Oh, it's on, scruffy!"
I don't celebrate Christmas so have this instead.
Yes, I did take inspiration from MimiSeda on AO3.
But merry Christmas to all who celebrate.

Title: Just Messin’
Fandom: Dead by Daylight
Ship: Jake Park x Reader
Genre: Fluff. A lot of it.
Words: 2,696
Note: Created for @sirpeanutthethird Happy Birthday 🎉🎁
. . . .
“Mm..” You’re awake, but your eyes stay closed in hopes of falling back to sleep.
Disoriented as your mind may be, you figured the time may be around four to five in the morning. For some reason, your body is trained to wake up around this time. A good assumption may be from getting ready for your classes at the University you attend. Except.. you don’t have any classes today, until tomorrow that is, which just so happens to be your birthday. Shame it has to be on the day you have school, but you’ll accept that today is your day to kick back and slack off. Hopefully along with your boyfriend, Jake.
Speaking of..
You open your eyes to a dark room, dimly lit by a warm lamp on his side. The first thing you notice is how close you are to him, that and the way he’s holding you. He’s got one arm under you and the other around your shoulder. His palm is cradling the back of your head, feeling a tiny bit ticklish since his fingertips skimmed lightly against your scalp. You don’t mind though, it’s always a good thing to wake up next to someone you love. Others may see his way of snuggling you this close as clingy, but you think you’re just as clingy as he is.
With what little space you have, you lift your head to kiss the flat of his chin. Jake’s breathing stuttered and his body shivered at such a small act of affection. Is he still asleep? Curious, you scoot back to try and get a better look at him. However, every time you move, his hold on you gets suspiciously tighter.
“Uh-“ He doesn’t want to let you go it seems. Time to look at other options instead. Shuffling from your side to your stomach, you try to wiggle out of the sleeping man’s arms into freedom. You only got about halfway down his torso, until he suddenly grabbed you by your underarms and moved you back to where you started. There, you see that the mischievous man is awake. The tiredness on his face did not match his playful attitude.
“You were awake this entire time?” You yell, but quietly.
“Why are you up so late?” Jake completely disregards your question and resumes cuddling you again.
“I just woke up.. what time is it?”
“I dunno. But I’m going back to sleep.”
“Well.” You squirm against his hold again. “I’m gonna check the time. Lemme go.”
“Nope.” Jake says in a heartbeat. “Not gonna sleep without you.”
“I’m gonna be back! .. After I get some water too.”
“You’ll take too long.”
You smile a little. He’s so needy. “I won’t, silly. I’ll be right back, okay?”
“Hmm.” His dark brown eyes examine your face. For a lie, you think. Or maybe he’s just considering freeing you from his heinous clutches.
And to your surprise, he actually lets you go. “Then by all means.” Jake covers himself with the blanket you two shared. Taking more than usual for him. You briefly wonder why, but don’t question as you pull away.
As soon as the covers are off of you though, you immediately feel cold air creeping up on your skin.
It’s so unexpected, you cross your arms and shiver down to your core. Why isn’t any source of heat on? Or more alternatively, why is the cold air on? Once you stood up, your feet felt icy even against the carpet floor. “Cold?” You turn to Jake at the sound of his sleepy voice. He’s wearing a smirk that he tried his best to hide.
“Y-yeah.” You look around the room, unsure if you even wanted to go through the cold for just a glass of water.
“Then come lay down with me.” You thought about his offer for a few seconds. Getting back in bed doesn’t seem like a-
Hold up.
Something’s not adding up.
You turn to Jake again, seeing the smirk on his face a little wider than before.
No-
No he did not. “Jake, did you tamper with the thermostat?”
“.. Maybe I did.”
You pout at him. “Whyy?” Shaking your head, you crawl back in bed to avoid freezing to death. “What’s the point??”
“Because I want to.” A very cheeky Jake helps himself and wraps his arms around you again. “And it gets too hot.” You sigh and cave in to the warmth he graciously gave you; wrapping your legs around his, your arms around his torso, and head leaning on his chest again. “This has never been a problem before.” You mumble.
“Well it’s a problem now.” Jake simultaneously pecks your forehead and cheeks, sweet-kissing your annoyance away. He can’t have you mad at him, if he plans to cuddle you into your dreams.
You groan, feeling your face tingling with acceptance at his unapologetic affection. Oh well.. “Jake?”
“Mmhm?”
“I’ll stay in bed, if you get me some water.” You look up at him and smile again. If he wants things to go his way, then he’ll have to do some of your bidding.
Jake hums delightfully at your request though, then readies himself to get up. “That’s a fair trade.”
. . .
The hall is empty.
Except for one.
Jake strolls down the corridor, paper in hand as he tries to read from it. He’s having a hard time making sense of any of it. It’s like his professor compiled the most complex words in the dictionary and shamelessly typed them on this paper. Every time Jake passed by a trash can, he highly considered crumbling up and tossing the worksheet in there. He wanted to forget about the damn thing entirely.
It isn’t a very responsible thing to do though, he thought to himself. He made it this far without anyone criticizing him. Much. He’s probably tired, or maybe he’s just-
Thump, thump, skeeeeet
The hell?
Jake comes to an abrupt stop and turns around, hearing someone running behind him. Last he checked, no one really visits this specific hall. For why? He doesn’t really know, but he assumed it may be because the classes here are rather.. insignificant compared to other courses, although Jake took one of them. This hall contained extracurricular activities that rarely anyone attended: like sewing, graphic design, and just outside of this wing lies a golf court. The students in this school are just like him, learning about the money and the business world to make their parents proud.
“Uh.. hello?” Jake calls out, unable to see who ran. The corridor is narrow, the only way for the person to pass him is if they went into one of the classrooms. That, or in front of him where there’s a turn on his left. All of the classes had their doors shut with barely any noises sounding from them, so it shouldn’t be hard to find the clown, if they toy with him again. Jake looks around one last time, the trash bins, the potted plants, pillars and a few decorations that covered the hall with colorful pride for the University.
He sees no one and turns around to walk again, slowly this time.
The hall is empty.
Except for two, now.
Jake only got so far as five, careful steps until he hears those running footsteps again. He turns, concerned, but done with this. “Alright, you wanna fuck around?” He folds the paper six times and stuffs it into his pocket. With his mind made up, he began to search the hall for any signs of a human being other than him. Any hints of clothing, hair, or even breathing will be useful to him. He’ll deliberately hunt down whoever’s responsible.
.
Your legs ache from kneeling down the trash can too long, but it’s sooo worth it. Suppressing your laughter is way more important right now, especially when you’re hiding from Jake.
Initially, you wanted to find him and have a normal conversation with him, especially since you haven’t seen him since morning. You know he usually comes to this side of the University to either attend one of his classes or study, since it’s almost completely silent. Yes, you being there could mean being a distraction to him.. But all that jazz is thrown out the window once you’ve decided to mess with him for a bit.
So here you are, hiding with a few beads in hand you gathered from an art class in this wing. You won’t throw any at Jake of course, but you’ll use them to bamboozle the ever living hell out of him. You wonder if your boyfriend will eventually think he’s crazy. Perhaps he’ll call you, scared of a ghost and needing you by his side. Although you’ve never seen him scared before, you’re still interested in how this goofy session will turn out. For both you and Jake.
While he looks around for you, you hide behind anything that could obscure you from his vision. He gets closer, hotter. Jake searches a spot where a pillar stands with a big potted plant in front of it. The one you moved, looking out of place. As soon as he turns his back on you, your heart raced with a bit of adrenaline. The thought of Jake finding and catching you made you feel too many rushed feelings at once.
An idea lights in your head to confuse him more. Quickly and quietly before he moves again, you take three beads in your hand and toss them down the corridor. The little noises alerts Jake. He snaps his attention behind him, leaving his current spot to check out where the beads are coming from. You giggle for a split second, then go silent.
Jake reaches the end of the hall, where it turns left towards other classrooms. Once he disappears, you stand up from your hiding place to follow him. You’re not done just yet, you’ll stop at one more throw of beads, then reveal yourself to him as the villain of such tomfoolery.
With your playfulness intact, you kept walking until you reached the end. You see shadows in the light, one unmoving and the other picking up something from the ground. Jake. You hold your breath for a moment, waiting until he moves away from you again. You watch his shadow examine something in his hand, probably the beads you threw. Then, he stands up and disappears along with his shadow.
You start breathing again, relieved that he didn’t walk back to the corridor you’re in. Calming down a little, you move to follow Jake again. You kept going, no longer hearing his footsteps, but you’re determined to find him anyway in this one-way place. When you reached a turn on your right, you leaned against the wall and peeked out from the corner.
“Ah!” You half gasped and squealed like a bird.
Instead of seeing another hall with doors, water fountains, and decorations; maybe Jake walking down the area as well..
He’s right in front of you.
Before you could do anything but chuckle nervously, Jake grabs you by your waist and holds you against the wall. All of the annoyance you previously saw on him is replaced by a slight, mischievous look. “You thought I wouldn’t catch you, huh?”
You bit your lower lip, especially once his hands moved to a much more sensitive spot of your body. It’s hard to push aside your excitement to speak. “H-how’d you know I was- Eee!!” Jake’s fingertips wiggles at your ticklish spot, not too soft or harsh, just enough to get you laughing in front of him. You drop everything, the beads in your hand fall to the ground. “S-st-stop! We’ll get in trouble!”
“Guess you didn’t think about that before throwing those beads.” Jake continues his tickle-fest, following your movements as you try to get away from his hands.
“Okay! Okaay! I-I’m sorry! I’m- oh!!” It was set. It was only a matter of time before you two done something to get you both even more in trouble. Jake accidentally bumped you against a wall, which had artwork of the University’s mascot taped to it. The tape fell and the paper tore a little, creating a sound that echoed the empty hallway. You and Jake stared at each other in shock. It wasn’t until the sound of a doorknob brought him back to his senses. He grabbed your wrist and hurried both of you out of there, before you two got caught.
“Sorry Jake..!” You whisper loud enough for him to hear.
“Shh..” He shushes you, guiding you away from the “crime” scene and towards the more quiet areas of the wing. You two reached the lockers, where only a few of them are occupied. Jake comes to a stop, still holding your wrist as he catches his breath. He eventually chuckles, so light and happy it becomes contagious. You clasped a hand over your mouth, snickering into your palm.
“It wasn’t your fault, it was mine.” Jake says, clearing his throat and needing water from all of that childishness.
You shrug. “I came here to just talk to you, but.. Mm, I dunno what came over me, heh.” You exhale your final, heavy breath. It’s a little hot in here now, but you feel invigorated around your boyfriend.
“I can see that.” He smiles, and you smile too. “I’m glad you’re here, don’t worry. I got something for you too.”
Your eyes widen. “For me? What is it?”
Jake holds up a hand and fishes in his pockets for something. First, he pulls out the folded paper from before, looking at it in sheer disgust. You snort at his reaction and conclude that it may be school work of some kind. About three seconds passes until he pulls something from another pocket: a small, baby blue box. Satisfied, Jake puts the folded paper away, completely forgetting about it. “Here. I made it for you.”
You look at the small box with deep interest. Grabbing it, you held it close and opened it with pure curiosity. There, you see a bracelet, shining in what light the area gave. It’s made of silver, crafted with tiny charms of favorite animals and your favorite colors. One charm resembled food you loved to eat. You couldn’t help but gaze at it in awe, it’s easy to tell how much care and thought was put into it.
“Happy Birthday.” Jake cheers quietly, but fondly. You look up at him, heart swelling with the loving look he gave you.
“Thank you! You made this??” Gently, you pull the bracelet from it’s little home. Jake takes the box from you, appearing sheepish as you immediately clip the piece of jewelry around your wrist. It fits perfectly.
“Yeah. You like it?” He rubs the back of his neck. Truth be told, one of his classes teaches fashion and the history of such. Jake never thought he’d be interested in them, but as it turns out, he’s skilled with his hands at not only outdoorsy activities. He loves crafting and creating things in general.
You blink. Looking at him as if he asked a dumb question. “I love it! Look at it!” You twirl your wrist around, watching the cute charms sway. It’s so adorable, and the fact that it’s made by him makes it a million times better. You’ll cherish this, the jewelry and this moment you have with him. “How long did it take you?” You ask, walking closer to him to hug him tight.
“A week and some change.” Jake pulls you in, hugging you back. “Getting the materials was another thing, but I got them just time for you.” You unconsciously swoon over his words. It’s always nice, having someone think about you so kindly, when you have no idea. Reaching up to his face, you kiss his lips a few times.
“Thank you so much..” Another kiss you two shared. “I love you.” Then another. Jake is a bit flustered at your immense display of affection, but he’s happy nonetheless.
“I love you too. Happy Birthday.”

This is so sweet 😢
The Beginning In The End | Jake Park x Reader
What would happen if Jake came back to the real world after the Entity has died and would finally be able to meet his SO and his mother? I thought about that one for a while and wanted to request someone to write it until I decided to write it myself! But if anyone wants to write this scenario in their own way, please do cause I really want to read more Jake Park content.
The claws of the Entity spasm, a strange liquid emits from it until it falls in front of Jake’s feet. He feels Meg’s back touching his after she backed away from whatever horror was on her side. The others surrounded each other, holding on dear life on some as a fog appears from the shadows. This fog awakes Jake’s curiosity. He’s never seen it like this. He could see beyond it. The trees and the ground disappearing along the sky, it all fades into a fog, then auric cells and then nothing.
“Why is everything disappearing!?” Claudette closed in on Jake as everyone else had done. Everybody stood together in a small circle, waiting for the fog to catch up to them. “Is it… gone? Did it work?”
“I think so, look” Meg takes a stick and breaks it in half, resulting in it fading in the auric cells and then completely away. “Didn’t Vigo’s journals say that the auric cells are the primordial building blocks of the realms? Without the Entity, the auric cells can’t last too”
“Will we go home if the realm disappears?” Jake kept his eyes on the darkness and could swear he saw the all so familiar silhouette of his partner and his mother. Despite not being on good term with his family, he would lie if he said he didn’t miss them in some way.
“Well, there’s only one way to find out” Dwight walked towards the emptiness with a newfound confidence none have seen on him. The fog only pooled around the survivors ankles while Jake squeezed his eyes together trying to see where Dwight is heading. The darkness stared back and at that moment, he realized it was truly a guessing game whenever they’ll return home or not. More and more survivors walked towards the darkness wishing everyone farewell while others waited until it embraced them. Jake closed his eyes, and there he saw it, an image of the perfect life he had dreamed about. (Y/N), him and his self built cabin in the forest with nothing but nature surrounding them.
With his eyes shut tightly, he daringly took a step forward only feeling a slight breeze until everything disappeared.
Shivering, Jake hugged his body tightly to protect him from the winds hitting his body. The leafs rustled in the woods, through it the wolfs cried out in the night.
Hold on.
Wolfs? Wind? Jake moved his body up, the sudden movement blocked his vision with grey dots before it all cleared again. He holds on a tree and hoists himself up, pushing his entire weight against it. The stick beneath his feet cracked in half but it did not fade away. Jake lifted his boot and took the now broken stick in two hands. His eyes burned the longer he looked at it. A pathetic little stick that has been broken into two and to Jake, it had a meaning. The more he looked at it, the more the realization hits him. It’s not fading, the wind is still messing with his hair and the howling of the wolfs never felt so much like a melody than before. His eyes started burning, he urge to cry came up but he suppressed it. Looking ahead, he saw the familiar paint on the little wooden house he created for the birds. Abandoning the sticks, his finger traced the lines of the bird house. Pulling back, he noticed the red color stuck to his fingers.
“Huh…” His mind wanders to his beloved partner, (Y/N). They constantly painted over the bird houses and built them together. They’d repaint them without Jake when the color faded to make it “more aesthetically pleasant for the birds”. That’s what they said to him before giggling and continuing painting. He reminisced about that day a lot, he got taken by the Entity days after.
Looking down, Jake spotted fresh footprints on the wet ground. The patterns of the sole, he recognized it. They were (Y/N) favorite boots. He followed along the path, the old trees were familiar faces and the noises the woodland creatures did like lullabies his mother sang to him when he was a child. Ever so slowly did he approach the clearing, the moons rays illuminated the leafs creating a beautifully messy pattern beneath him. Before him stood his very own creation, he built his own cabin when he was young. The faint smell off the woods and the breeze of the forest always blessed his morning, he loved waking up to the nature greeting him with his significant other beside him.
Hesitantly, he walked towards the cabin and saw a light emitting from the windows. Someone is inside and awake, the anticipation built further in him as he reached his hand out to knock on the front door. His gloved palm fell softly against it but the knock was audible for whoever was inside.
“Did you hear something?” A soft voice spoke, a voice he didn’t expect to hear.
“Yeah, I did. Did you invite any guests over?” A different familiar voice rang through, a voice he was eager to hear from the beginning.
“No, only you, I and Jacob know exactly where his cabin is” Jake cursed as that soft voice used his full name, he didn’t want her to tell them that.
Jake knocked again against the door, making the two people stop their conversation. He could her the woman’s breath hitch, she always did that when she was scared. He remembers when he was riding his bike all joyful for the first time and his mother helped balancing him. But a stone made him fly forward, his mom’s breath hitched when that happened.
“I-I’ll get a knife, you stay back!” She tells (Y/N) and he takes a few steps back. His mother pulled the door open, ready to attack the intruder before her. Instead, there stood Jake. The exhausted, hurt but happy and shocked Jake.
“Mom…” He shuddered at the sound of his own voice, a simple word carried all his emotions. “(Y/N)?…”
“Jake?” Mrs. Park’s eyes widened, the knife she held fell to the ground. A loud gasp left her lips, her hands covered her mouth. (Y/N), who was behind her, had a similar reaction. Tears built at the corner of their eyes. “Jake!” His mother threw herself at him, holding close on his shoulder as if he’s about to disappear. (Y/N) did the same, holding on them both and almost knocking them both down. Jake felt something wet running down his cheeks and noticed he cried. Crying was something that was considered a waste in the Entities realm and it’s not like he cried a lot in his life before the Entity took him. Sheltering his emotions, he’d rarely talk about his feelings. Instead, he tried to do the best out of a stressful situation and not letting it dawn on him too much. But this? No matter how strong his walls were after years of suppressing his emotions, nothing he ever went through could compare to the relief, happiness and euphoria he felt at this moment. After years of torture and only seeing the same cruel and gruesome deaths and depression, the hug of the two people he missed the most in the place he yearned to be in the most broke the walls softly.
Mrs. Park ushered him inside the cabin and closed the door whilst (Y/N) took his dirty green jacket off. No words were exchanged in the first few seconds, Mrs. Park took Jake’s arm and sat him on the couch, (Y/N) followed after him, sitting next to him and holding his hands tightly in their own.
“Jake, where the hell were you?! You were gone for so long!” Mrs. Park took a glass water and placed it on the table in front of the couch. She sat in front of him and took his free hand, her tear filled eyes looked into his. He looked in hers, trying to find the words to say to not make them feel pity for him whislt staying truthful. He could never tell them what kidnapped him and in which world he was stuck in, an evil demi-god torturing him and the other survivors to feast on their emotions. And how could he tell them about the ritual that killed the Entity? What set him free in the first place?
“How… long was I gone?” He dodged her question with something that has dawned on him for a while. How long was he gone?
“You were gone for 5 years. Where were you, Jake?” (Y/N) placed a hand on his cheek and made him turn to face them.
“Hell” He whispered, speaking the truth while keeping a lot to himself. (Y/N) put their forehead against Jake’s, closing their eyes and softly kissing his cheek.
“I missed you so much” More and more tears flooded down their cheek, Mrs. Park already walked away to give the couple some privacy and to prepare food for him.
“I missed you too” He held (Y/N) close against his body and softly kissed their head, crying with them in silence. His finger tangles in their hair, stroking them softly. They returned the affection by stroking Jake’s hair too. The comforting silence embraced them as they shared the much needed affection with each other. It was a beginning for Jake, a new one anyways. After the end of the Entity, he had his home and the people he loved.

Sirpeanutthethird’s Wholesome Story
Jake Park x Reader | Pregnant and afraid
This fic contains loads of fluff cause I love me some wholesome Jake content.
I got the Inspiration from 2 fics made by MimiSeda on AO3, in one of them (Y/N) and Jake make love to get a child after failing several times and in the other they have a toddler that I literally wanna adopt, not even kidding (SHE’S SO PRECIOUS).
Enjoy, I guess.
One…
Two…
You’ve been counting the kicks in your stomach ever since you’ve been coming closer to the day. That dreaded day. The day in which you might feel the most pain you’ve ever felt in your entire life while living the happiest day you could have.
To put it simply, you’re pregnant. Pregnant and scared. Why?
The birth scares you. (And you and Jake fucked, but let’s not talk about that.)
The day where you and your lovely boyfriend Jake did the deed, you didn’t even think about the birth. You wanted that child, no matter the cost. And after several failed attempts and doubts crawling up your back, you were relieved to know that neither you nor Jake weren’t able to convince a child. Yet, you still couldn’t get pregnant. Jake and you went to several hospitals to get checked up, all told the same thing yet the fear lingered in your mind. Jake would always be by your side and would be the one to comfort you after showing him the negative pregnancy tests with a saddened and doubtful expression. You’d hold each other close in an attempt to comfort each other, the failed attempts has been affecting his mental health too.
But one day, it happened.
With a tight grip on the pregnancy test, you refused to look at it in fears that you’ll see that one line again. Jake took it from you, him being the first to see the results. And after a while, you saw it too, Two lines, a positive. To say you were happy was an understatement. You rushed into Jake’s arms, wrapping yours around his neck and embracing him with your legs. He held onto you while you laughed in bliss and he joined in too, spinning you a little before setting you down for a kiss. He’s usually more laid back with his affection, him twirling you around and then immediately kissing you told you how much he felt about this.
The pregnancy went smoothly, or as smooth as it could. Doubts and fears plagued you almost every night resulting in Jake having to cuddle you to sleep. He’d take care of all your sick days and make whatever you wanted or needed. It was a bliss to see your stomach growing each day, sometimes it was hard to keep your own hands away from touching it. Jake also had the tendency to kiss you and then your stomach where the baby was growing. It melted your heart when Jake would do that. On some days, he would also talk to the baby about many things. He built the bed and some toys for it himself and painted it with you. And when the baby started kicking? You and Jake gushed about it for days, always wanting to feel it and talk to the baby when it happened. Doctors told you the baby was growing fine, there were no complications to worry about.
But now, here you are. Pregnant and afraid. Afraid of how the birth might be. You and Jake had everything already planned out but the birth. What if the birth will go wrong? What if you’ll lose too much blood and die? What if the baby will die? What will Jake do if he’s alone with the baby? Will Jake hate you if the baby dies at birth? What if-
“I can see how you’re thinking to yourself, right now” The voice of Jake snapped you out of your thoughts. “What’s on your mind?”
“Oh… Nothing big” Jake scooted closer and dropped a lazy kiss on your cheek.
“Mhm, you’re lying” His hand snakes his way down to your stomach.
“I mean, it’s nothing you can prevent from happening so no point in dwelling about it.”
“if I can’t stop it, can’t I at least give you more courage for when it happens?” Jakes hand strokes comforting circles on your stomach.
“I… I’m afraid” You stutter.
“Afraid of what?”
“Afraid of the birth” Jake listened. “It just looks so painful and risky and I’m afraid I’ll be too weak to survive it! I want to be there for our child, I want it to be there and healthy, but-” Your own sob interrupted you mid sentence.
His hand moves from your stomach to your face. “Everything has been going well. The doctors always told us that our baby is fine.” He pushes a strand of your hair behind your ear.
“I don’t know how to make you feel better since I don’t have to experience it, obviously” You snickers at Jake’s attempt at a joke. “But I’ll stay with you the entire time it will happen. And after the birth, we’ll be able to hold our daughter” His tired eyes close again but his breath told you he’s still awake. Through the softness in his voice, a equally soft smile formed.
“I’m so excited, I can’t wait to see her.” Jake chuckled at your giddiness.
“Me too”
