Get to know me tag!
Thank you @thebrixtons so much for tagging me!! I am truly honored!! This is the first one I've ever done so this is exciting 🎉
favorite color: black 🖤 If there's a black version of something, such as clothing or decor, I'm most likely choosing that over anything else. I do appreciate a good deep red, blue, and green though.
currently reading: I'm currently only reading for my classes, so I guess Maus. It's good, just not something I would have read for fun.
last song you listened to: Take Me to Church by Hozier 🎶🎶
last series watched: I have been watching The Mole on Netflix since that new season came out (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️), and I just watched the first three released episodes of the new season of Unsolved Mysteries w/ my boyfriend (⭐️⭐️).
sweet, savory, or spicy: savory never gets old!!
craving: always wishing for a Five Guys burger and fries... always 🍔🍟
tea or coffee: neither!! I don't like either lol
working on: trying not to lose my sanity this semester lol. School is stressful, yet trying to relax and play games is stressful too since I should be doing schoolwork. 0/10, would not recommend
i tag: I believe everyone I follow has done this already, so I tag anyone that sees this that hasn't done it and wants to!!

the announcement plaque outside of the palace yesterday morning
March 1st, 1898
Many Urymontians have long awaited any sort of news regarding the Royal Family. For the last two weeks, King Isaac and Queen Cassandra have been visiting Ecrania. It was confirmed late last week that this was to celebrate the announcement of the Queen's brother's engagement to a wealthy socialite. Prince Alexander of Ecrania and soon-to-be-royal Lady Katherine Eason (daughter of famous jeweler Archibald M. Eason of Eason's Jewels) hosted a masquerade ball to formally announce their plan to marry. The King and Queen attended to display their support for the couple.
There have been no updates about the Royal Family since their departure for their trip--until yesterday. In the early hours of yesterday morning, the palace officials erected an announcement stand for the public eye. The announcement reads:
The Queen of Urymont and Ecrania gave birth to a son Friday night while visiting her brothers in her childhood home in Harmstead, Ecrania. Her Royal Highness and her son are both healthy and well. Family and close friends have already been notified. Her Majesty thanks everyone for their well-wishes and concerns. The King and Queen will return home in a few weeks' time.
Many citizens were quick to notice the date of the prince's birth: February 25, the same night as the masquerade ball held to celebrate the Prince of Ecrania's engagement. While some questioned the Queen's willingness to travel so close to the arrival of her child, others noted the delay in announcing the birth. In the past, accouchement announcements have been scattered (e.g., the announcement of Prince Edgar's birth), so a pause of three days for the birth of their fourth child is not eye-raising.
Regardless, the citizens of Urymont are happy to hear of the newest royal birth from their monarch. We wish the King and Queen and their newborn son a safe journey home!
