Guess who has stickers and whose shop is open again. I also have vet bills to pay, so I would appreciate any interest. Boosts appreciated!

Am I doing Inktober? Is it Artober? Am I doing "I just want to make some art since I've been burned out and artist blocked for too goddamn long and it happens to be October and I should just use whatever I feel like but I'm gonna do it every day?" Yes, that one.

I went ahead and framed these. It's one of my more grandiose framings I have done, with triple stacked frames.

It occurs to me that while I posted this when I was working on it, I never posted the finished paintings

I framed a beautiful set of pictures from @gametee that I received as gifts for my last birthday. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. Each one has custom-made matboard with fancy handmade paper, and the aim was to try and match the relative aesthetic of each era of Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite.

Three pictures framed and currently hanging in my public library, and one tiny framed artist trading card-sized oil painting in an equally tiny frame. All but the crab were framed by me, with a good friend of mine (who is also a framer) doing that one in the most ridiculous frame she could find.

So I have made a new blog for rebogging things that I like and for sharing random nonsense and things. At the moment, I am attempting to condense a number of side blogs that I've long since abandoned into a single place. This is my art blog, and I like to keep it that single focus, but I also want to be able to share things that I like or that I think are funny.
If you would like to follow that blog, it's at @remyousa

Adventures in framing more of my own artwork, today's being a cheap thrift store frame that I split apart, repaired, cut, and put back together in a new size and shape. It's gratifying to feel like I'm getting better at certain aspects of my job, like actually joining frames.

Ruby’s got a lot of scars. Not shown: the debridement scar on her right leg from an unfortuitous slime encounter.

One of my best friends got me a gorgeous print by @abz-j-harding and, as my day job is now “framer” in a high-end custom frame shop, I decided it needed some fancy frame treatment.
