⊱ Kyojuro's loud voice seemed to bellow no matter the time of day, a small price to pay for a man with such a blazing heart. The long blonde and red hair all spiked at the ends, even if today out of all days it was messier than normal. Indeed he was not supposed to even be back from his mission yet, but that particular demon he slayed had not been of any hassle. Rengoku's lips turned into a smile, his face all bright and shiny.

“I'm going to get some food! I'm starving after my mission! What are you doing Omae!"

That familar nickname Kyo used for his best friend, which in turn, meant dude. They had always been close, and it made the fire hashira burn even brighter knowing one of the people he holds most dear fights alongside him for the same cause. In their line of work there was too much death, and not enough friendships. Tomioka was a prime example of this, his fear striking him from making any allies even in the heat of battle. Grief was a much closer friend to most, spending their lives in the confines of an emotion. Having a shinigami escort their loved ones across the great river was truly a heartbreaking feeling — one Rengoku knew well.

A long sigh leaves the lips of the retired hashira. He was annoyed but it wasn't the fault of the shop keep, but it did put a damper on his mornings for another week. He would live, but it would make the wakeups much harder for him.

Turning on his heel with a bow he waved off the tea peddler and came face to face with the blonde hashira.

“Oh! Why thank you Urogi-San and Karaku-Kun! I hadn't even realised it was my birthday!”

The girl of white snow laughed, now even being fought over. She was glad to have some friends on thus special day. It had been years since she was actually able to find a happy memory of it.

Shí is based off of Shinigami (Or death gods/yokai) which is another reason why she is worshipped like Dōma, Her followers are Shinto. Shí's entire title is "Kamishí-No-Mikoto" while her followers believe she is the reincarnation of the great Goddess Inazagi, and hee title loosely translates to "The great death god" <3 thanks for the ask!

AHHHHHH I know i do nothing but post OOC but god, i just needed to say thank you to everyone who follows and interacts with me!

I know i havent been on this website for long but i cherish all of my followers and mutuals! I know I don't tend to communicate much but i really am happy so many people enjoy the stuff i write, or enjoy writing with me. This is probably the first time in a place that I feel like I'm contributing something to others. All of you mean alot to me, more than you'd know. I'm so self conscious of my writing and anxious to try and make new mutuals that I don't know if I should even really be on here, but you guys make me feel better about it.
