Hai!

Sorry for not being active! I finally finished freshman and now I'm moving up to sophomore! So now I'm on summer break, I should be more active here again!

I have two fics in ny draft and another teaser for my new SKZ series fic, EXPERIMENT!

Also, I've been watching a lot of BL [Boy Love] Series and my favorite is currently UWMA [Until We Meet Again]

Anyways, that's it for now! Hopefully I'll get to the fics in my draft and have them out soon!

12 A.M

Year: 2017

Amaya is having a hard time with stuff and Mark knows it. So he goes and tries to find Amaya to see what she needs help with, only to find her in the practice room at 12 a.m.

“Come on, Amaya, we’re done for today,” Jisung said. Amaya sighed, getting up from her spot on the floor.

“You guys go back first, I’m going to practice a little more,” She mumbled.

“Amaya, we love that you want to get extra practice, but you need rest too,” Haechan said.

“I’ll be fine,” She answered. The boys looked at each other and shrugged.

“Ok, but don’t overwork yourself,” Jeno said. Amaya nodded. The boys walked out of the room, leaving Amaya on her own.

“Ok,YaYa,” She said to herself. “Let’s do this.” She took our her phone from her bag and connected it to the speakers. She started practicing again and again. Every time the song ended and she was done practicing, she felt like she didn’t do good enough and that she needed more practice. 

Amaya opened her phone and went to the contacts. She scrolled down until she found Mark’s contact. She hesitated to call him. She did trust her members, but she was the person who doesn’t like to tell anybody her problems and make a big deal about them. Amaya sighed, shaking her head, putting her phone back down and started practicing again.

A few hours later, Amaya still hasn’t returned to the dorms. It was very late, almost all the boys were asleep, except Mark. He was worried about Amaya. Something has been bothering Amaya lately, and Mark knows it. But he didn’t want to force her to tell him, he wanted her to come and tell him or any of the boys what was bothering her when she felt like it.

He looked at his phone. It was 11pm, almost midnight and she still wasn’t back.

“That’s it, I’m coming Amaya,” He mumbled to himself and went out of the dorms. He went to the company building, remembering that Amaya was still at the practice room.

‘I hope she didn’t overwork herself, like we told her to,’ Mark thought. He knocked on the door of the practice room, which startled Amaya, who was inside.

“Amaya?” Mark spoke softly, but loud enough so she could hear him through the door. He heard Amaya sniff.

“Yes Mark?” She asked.

“Can I come in?” He asked. He waited for a few seconds to hear Amaya’s answer.

“Sure...” She said. Mark quietly opened the door to see Amaya crouching in the middle of the floor. She smiled at Mark tiredly.

“Amaya, it’s midnight, why are you still here?” He asked.

“Because I need extra practice,” She said. “But every time I do...I feel like it’s not good enough. No matter how hard I try, I...” Mark walked to her and sat next to her, patting her back.

“It’s ok Amaya, we all feel like that sometimes,” He said. Amaya shook her head, burying her face into her knees.

“You don’t understand, Mark...” She whispered. “It hurts me...It makes me feel discouraged to dance....” He sighed.

“I know how it feels like Amaya, I’ve been though that, I’m sure we all have been,” He answered. “Also...I know that’s not the only thing that’s bothering you...” He looked over at her. “What’s been going through your mind?”

Amaya laid on the floor, sighing. “How do you do it?” She finally asked. Mark looked at her confused.

“Do what?” He asked.

“How do you manage to be in two different units at the same time, go to school and do your school work, and also be the leader of our very chaotic group?” She asked, giggled tiredly at the last bit. Mark laughed lightly. “What?”

“I do feel stressed, Amaya. Almost everyday,” He said. “I guess I just got used to it, so that’s why I’m so calm most of the time. But inside, I’m very, very stressed.”

“Oh,” Amaya whispered. “I guess I’m just not used to it yet...”

“But another reason why I’m calm is because I take rests when I need them,” He said.

“Oh...” Amaya said again.

“You just need to rest and keep your mind blank, but at the same time, put all your worries and stuff away in the back of your head, so that you can remember them, but not worry about them right now,” He explained. “You understand what I’m saying, right?” Amaya nodded.

“So...just stop worrying about stuff and rest and worry about it later?” She asked.

“Kinda like that,” He said. “Is school going okay for you?” He asked.

“Mmm...” She mumbled. “I guess....we have exams soon...”

“Oh, that’s right,” Mark said. He looked at his phone again. It was very late now. “We should go back to the dorms.” He said, standing up before helping Amaya up.

“Ok,” Amaya answered, picking up her bag and walking with Mark to go back. Amaya opened the door to the Dream dorm to go in, but Mark stopped her.

“Oh, and Amaya?” He whispered to her. She turned around and hummed as an answer. “You know you can tell us when you’re having problems and anything, right?” Amaya nodded.

“Thanks Mark,” She said.

“Anything for my little sister,” Mark answered and waved at her as she went inside and quietly shut the door.

Halloween 2018

Year: 2018

Amaya and the rest of NCT have their own little Halloween party!

“Amaya~!” Amaya heard the whiny voice of Haechan shout her name. She looked up from her phone to see Haechan walking towards her. Amaya started walking away from her original spot, and Haechan followed her.

“Not again...” She mumbled to herself. She stopped and Haechan hugged her. Amaya sighed. “What do you want now?”

“Tell me what you’re going to be for Halloween?” He asked, looking at her with puppy eyes. “I already told you what I’m going to be!” He tried.

“I told you, you’ll see soon,” She said, walking away, but Haechan was still clinging to her.

“Please!” He whined again. Amaya huffed, clenching her hands, kind of annoyed.

“God, you’re so annoying!” She said, trying to push him off.

“You love me!” He said. She rolled her eyes.

“Not today, I don’t,” She said, and pushed off Haechan from her. Haechan, being the dramatic person he is, fell to the floor.

“Why are you so mean?” He pretended to cry. Amaya tried to hold in her laughs, but she failed to. She started laughing.

“Why are you so dramatic?” She said, helping him up.

“I won’t forgive you unless you tell me what you’re going to be,” He said, turning away from his back faced her, crossing his arms. Amaya sighed, rolling her eyes.

“Fine,” She said and Haechan turned around, smiling. Amaya came closer to Haechan and whispered in his ear. His eyes widened.

“Really?” He said. Amaya nodded. He laughed. “You’re going to be a total loser.” He teased. Amaya sighed.

“I shouldn’t have told you what I was going to be...” She mumbled. “And plus, aren’t I already a loser?” She started walking away.

“Haechan, what is she going to be?” Chenle asked. Haechan opened his mouth to answer, but she cut him off.

“It’s a surprise!” She said, glaring at him. He laughed nervously.

“What she said...” He said. Amaya nodded and walked off.

Next Day

It was the day of the Halloween party for NCT. The whole group of 19 members gathered in the practice room and got into their costumes. Amaya had to admit, some of her members looked hilarious in their costumes while some of them looked good. Amaya spotted Haechan and started laughing at his costume. 

“What?” He whined.

“Sorry Haechan, you just...” She said, trying to calm herself down. “You look funny...”

“You’re probably going to look funny too,” He said.

“Am not!” She said.

“Amaya! Let’s get you in your costume,” One of the stylists said. Amaya nodded and started walking away, but she turned around for a little to stick her tongue out Haechan. She took her costume from the rack that was there and went to go change. She went back to the practice room and sat down, getting her make-up fixed.

“Wow Amaya so pretty!” Jaemin said. Amaya smiled.

“Thank you,” She said. “I got the ears too!” She pointed to her pointy (clip-on) ears.

“Woah, are you an elf or something?” He asked. Amaya nodded. “Cool!”

“There, you’re done!” The stylist said.

“Thank you unnie!” Amaya said before going back to where Haechan, Jisung, Renjun, and Taeyong were. Jisung was the first one ot notice Amaya coming towards them.

“Woah, seriously, Amaya,” Jisung said. The boys turned around.

“Amaya’s an elf?” Renjun said.

“Yup!” She nodded. She noticed that Renjun also had the pointy ears. “Hey, we have the same ears.” Renjun nodded, laughing. She turned to Haechan. “So am I a loser now?” She said.

Haechan rolled his eyes. “You’re still a loser in my eyes.” Amaya pursed her lips.

“Sure...” She said. “Taeyong, you’re-”

“A sailor,” He said. Amaya smiled.

“Oppa is cute!” She said. Taeyong shyly smiled and she laughed.

“Amaya!” Mark said coming to her.

“Oh, Mark, what’s-” Mark grabbed her arm and pulled her away form the boys.

“Let’s go see who everyone is!” He said. Amaya laughed.

“Ok...” She said.

Chewing Gum~

Year: 2015

It was finally that day...the day where Amaya was officially becoming a member of the big new group, NCT.

“Chew-chew-chew-chew chewing gum...” Amaya sang to herself. After weeks, almost months, of practicing, they were finally going to debut. Of course, Amaya was nervous, but the boys assured her that she was going to do fine. It was finally the day of filming the M/V.

Off to the corner some of the boys were practicing the dance while the others were talking to the camera that was filming the ‘behind the scenes’ video. While Amaya was riding around her hover bored, Donghyuck, or Haechan as he was called now, came over to her with the camera following him.

“Amaya, how do you feel so far?” He asked. Amaya got off the hoverbored and stood next to Haechan.

“Nervous,” She said. “Really nervous. My heart is beating so fast and so loud, I swear you can hear it from a mile away.” She joked.

“There’s no need to be nervous,” He assured the younger girl.

“Says the one who already debuted in a different unit,” She mumbled, blowing her bangs out of her eyes. “Speaking of that, how do you feel ‘re-debuting’?” She asked.

“Just a little nervous,” He admitted. “Probably because Dream has a slightly different concept than 127.”

“Ooh...” Amaya said. Haechan than went off to the next member and the camera followed with him, leaving Amaya alone once again. She got back on her hoverboard and rode over to Mark and Jaemin who were also in front of another camera.

“Oh, there’s Amaya,” Mark said, noticing the girl come towards them.

“Amaya, how do you feel?” Jaemin asked.

“Hyuck asked me the same thing not too long ago,” Amaya said. “I feel nervous.”

“I am too! Let’s be nervous together!” Jaemin said, clinging onto Amaya’s arm. The younger girl laughed.

“What are you more nervous about?” Mark asked.

“The hoverboard dance,” Amaya answered. “I mean, it’s not easy to control these and you never know if they’re going to suddenly going to break.”

“I’m nervous about that too,” Mark said. “When we were practicing for that, I was sweating like crazy!”

“Ew,” Amaya said. Mark laughed. Amaya eventually rode off to Renjun and Chenle, the two ‘new’ members that she had meet weeks before. “How do you guys feel?”

“I feel confident,” Renjun said. They both looked at Chenle, who seemed to be thinking about how to answer. Just in case, Renjun translated the question for him so he could understand better.

“Ah...I feel...nervous,” Chenle said.

“The majority of us are nervous,” She said. “So don’t worry.” Chenle smiled at her.

“Let’s go!” Mark said, signaling for all the member to gather around. Amaya rode her hoverboard to the side, got off, and walked over to Mark. The others gathered around too. “We’re about to begin filming!”

Everyone started cheering. Amaya’s heart began to beat faster. This is it...she’s finally going to debut. She’s going to be a member of NCT. She was going to be a member of NCT Dream.

“On count of three, let’s do it,” Mark put his hand out and the other put their hand over his. Amaya put her hand out over the other boys’ hands. “One, two, three-”

“To the world, NCT!” They all cheered and put their hands in the air. They all started clapping as they got into their positions to start the dance part of the M/V.

Amaya’s B-Day Surprise

April 21, 2015 (Pre-Debut Era)

Amaya went into the practice room after being called by a staff member. She peeked inside to see Mark and Donghyuck inside. The boys stopped talking when they saw her and Amaya bowed.

“Hello...” She mumbled, a little nervous. Why did they call her?

“Amaya!” Mark said and Amaya smiled, going over to the boys. She sat down between them, in front of a camera.

“What is...this?” She asked. The boys exchanged glances and smiled.

“Interview time!” They said at the same time.

“Oh, interview?” Amaya asked. The boys nodded.

“Introduce yourself for us,” Donghyuck said.

“Ok..” Amaya said, bowing to the camera in her seat. “Hello, I’m SM Rookies’ Amaya!”

“She’s one of the youngest rookies here!” Donghyuck said. Amaya nodded.

“She’s also a foreigner, like me!” Mark smiled. Donghyuck looked over at him with a blank face.

“Good for you,” He said, causing Amaya to laugh. The boys went back to the interview with Amaya, and she had to admit, it was a pretty long one too...it’s like they wanted her to be distracted. Were they hiding something from her?

What she didn’t know was that they were, in fact, doing a surprise for her. It was her birthday! In another room, Jaemin, Jeno, and Jisung were helping with her cake.

“Annnnd done!” Jaemin said, after putting on the final candle of her cake. Jisung held the cake.

“Do we bring it to her?” He asked.

“No, we have another surprise for her,” Jeno said as Jisung placed the cake back down on the table.

“Oh...that’s right,” He said.

Back in the room where Amaya, Donghyuck, and Mark were at, they had just wrapped up the interview.

“Thank you Amaya for helping us with the interview!” Donghyuck thanked her.

“We have something for you,” Mark said, handing her a red envelope.

“What is it?” She asked.

“Read it and see,” Donghyuck said. “We’ll see you later YaYa!” Mark and Donghyuck rushed out of the room, laughing to each other. Amaya shook her head, confused.

“What are they doing?” She mumbled to herself. She opened the envelope and took out the paper and read it.

‘Follow the red arrows.’

She looked up. “What red arrows?” She then saw a red arrow on the door.

Weird...she didn’t see that when she entered....

She went out the door and noticed the red arrows tapped onto the walls.

“Follow them...?” She was talking to herself. She finally found herself standing in front of a door to another room with a paper tapped to the window.

‘Amaya’s Parents’ were scribbled on.

“My parents? But...they’re back in California...” She mumbled to herself. She entered the dark room anyways.

“Amaya?” She heard a familiar voice call her. She knew that voice...it was the voice of her mom. But how?

“M...mom?” Amaya said. “Are you there?”

“Amaya, it’s me!” She heard the voice of her younger brother said.

“Happy birthday, Amaya!” She heard her dad’s voice.

“Huh?” She asked confused. Suddenly, the door behind her opened and there was the boys, Jisung holding the cake. They all sang happy birthday to her, and Amaya heard the voices of her family sing along with them. She covered her face, trying to stop herself from getting emotional. Jisung held out the cake to her.

“Blow out the candles Amaya!” He said and she did. The boys cheered for her and Mark flipped on the lights. When the room was fully lit, she can see that her parents we’re actually there...which made her a little sad.

“But...my parents?” Amaya asked. Jeno held up his phone.

“We’re here, Amaya!” Her mother’s voice said.

“Mom? Dad? Kiko?” She said.

“Happy birthday Amaya!” Her brother said.

“How did you guys...?” Amaya mumbled.

“I looked through your phone,” Donghyuck said. “And got your mom’s number.”

“DONGHYUCK!” She said, slapping his head. The boys laughed. Then one by one, they all smeared frosting on her face. Amaya tried to resist, but she let them do what they wanted. “Wow...you all planned this for me?” She asked. The boys nodded.

“Why not? It’s your birthday and we’re your friends!” Jaemin said. “Friends that are family!”

Amaya smiled. “You guys are the best!”
