Things about Wanderer's design that just make sense (and prove he's more archon than we thought after all..)

The feather on his chest is the same from the cinematic, but that's not news to anyone

His palette retains some purple, staying not too far from his original palette.

Black is mostly replaced by white, a color of purity and good whereas black is often used for villains (see Tartaglia's normal outfit vs the colors he uses in his fight. The white of his outfit turns black.)

His outfit is clearly from Inazuma but the hat seems to be Sumeru craft. There is a blooming flower pattern on top instead of where his fatui mask was, and the design overall is reminiscent of Candace's shield. His background is also Sumeru's, not Inazuma's. And so is his vision. Thr pattern of the trails on his hat and the dark blue cloth on his shoulder also seem to be Sumeru theme.

Unclear but i think this may mean Wanderer is a citizen of Sumeru and not Inazuma's, now. In the same way Thoma is FROM mondstadt, but wears Inazuman armor and has an inazuman vision holder.

His signature weapon looks like a gnosis. Both bearing a top that ressembles a crown/chess piece. But also it looks like a bell, because yk, it's NOT a gnosis. The weapon itself also seems sumeruian, with an inazuman tassle at the tip

He can create balls of energy much like Venti, Raiden and Zhongli's own idles. But it's actually the same ball of black void as Ei, unlike venti's swirl or Zhongli's rock.

His highlights in his hair and eyes glow (albeit not as much as the archons) when he does his burst, like archons. Venti, Zhongli, Ei all glow when they use their burst. Same goes for him. As you can see, his burst also has that black void like inside, like Ei's own abilities+idle.

Story

A famed Astrologist hailing from Fontaine. Don't let his youthful fashionable look fool you, there is not an ounce of naiveté and youth to this man. If the starry void emerging from his chest wasn't a good indicator, it's rumored Alphonse is far from a normal human. Though he wears a vision, it doesn't glow, nor does it seem to actually contain any magic. Acting as some sort of proxy. Alphonse worked for Fontaine's circus for some time before he became famous enough to work on his own terms- today, he writes and does research for Fontaine's higher ups. He barely leave the observatory these days, cooped up with only books and the stars for company. His self inflicted isolation hasn't stopped him from staying in touch with every little news around teyvat. It's said Alphonse's predictions are not only always accurate, but he's even said to be able to see different timelines, which is why he can come across as a little airheaded or 'lost'. Though a very shady person, he doesn't really seem to interested in the bigger picture. He claims he's perfectly content writing and reaearching, and that if he even did decide to go further, he would simply end up driving himself insane. A philosophy Albedo strongly disagrees with as a fellow brilliant researcher.
