//So small update on my deal here. But I'm kind of even more stressed out than I was before. I had to voluntarily quit my firefighting job, for now, because after the death of my dad I really just couldn't handle the high stress level of, you know, dealing with strangers in medical dangers or emergency situations. Everyone was very understanding of this and said I was welcome to reapply when I got my shit straightened out, and I'm currently working a sanitation job.

On top of this, I'm also dealing with a friend I've known since I was 13 getting diagnosed, misdiagnosed, and rediagnosed with all manner of different chronic ailments (she's got loads of family money so at least insurance isn't a problem for her) and her trauma dumping on me and then getting pissy and guilt-trippy when i try to set boundaries.

I finally had to block her and am currently having to deal with an in-between friend to TRY and salvage this friendship, but I'm not hopeful it can be repaired and even if it is, it certainly won't be the same kind of friendship we used to have.

like, seriously, it's very tempting to publish the chatlog of stuff she's said to me, but since yall don't know her and it wouldn't do any good, I'm just gonna stew on it.

And, as if that wasn't worse, the one thing I wanted to keep as a keepsake of my dad's, a guitar that he taught me to play guitar with, got carelessly sold to my cousin by my mom, and I'm currently trying to message said cousin to buy it back.

On the plus side? My new job gave me a free gym membership (with an indoor pool) so that's where I've been most of the time, other than playing Disco Elsysium.

I think I'm going to pop in here every now and then for quick funny threads, and mostly focus and seriously rp with my OCs, either on @cottonbelles or just on discord or go back to ESO to rp there. So as far as tumblr goes, that's where you can mostly find me. I just don't really have the spoons to be in a pre-established canon characters's mindset as of now.
