Even though they may come off annoying, i don't think people realise that Hyeseong and Jigu have also lost their father twice, once when he cheated on their mother and second time his earthly demise. Hyeseong's love life is a failure on one hand and Jigu is stuck with the memory of his father singing and the small crowd applauding. While Jigu must have been too young to realise the damage the man he looked up to has caused to the family, but somewhere Hyeseong also just wants to be in a good relationship because not every man is like their father. Woojoo experienced the betrayal first hand because she caught their father with the mistress but I'm sure the other two are still coping up with this very situation to this day. Just because they're not blood thirsty for revenge doesn't mean this massive change in their lives hasn't affected them.

people seriously pretending EEAAO is overrated suddenly bc it swept awards? it swept awards largely because it is very very very good. I cried like someone who's just had a religious revelation BOTH times I watched it bc it touched something raw and real and beautiful but it was also just very, very funny. everyone's performance kills and the concept is creative and interesting and doesn't distract from the emotional core. you guys are just contrarian.
