As it turns out, my body isn’t computer-friendly. Earlier this I dealt with computer-caused eyesight issues, and I’m currently dealing with tendinitis from computer work. I’m always going to have at least part of my job being done from a computer, not much I can do about that. 

But I can (and I chose to) not have a computer-based hobby. (Not to mention that the tumblr rpc is a terrible place for people with eyesight issues). So while I’ll always be lurking on tumblr a bit, I’m chosing to direct my creative efforts into drawing and painting and getting better at those, instead.

( ooc ) I’ll be in Paris starting tonight and until Sunday evening!! That means internet!! I mostly plan to catch up with people irl but I’ll also be available here, on Whats/App and disco :) I don’t think I’ll have time for roleplay but come at me ooc! If you’re European, in a couple of weeks you will be denied any and all access to fandom contents on Tumblr and everywhere else on the internet. Here’s why.

On June, 20th the JURI of European Parliament approved of the articles 11 and 13 of the new Copyright Law. These articles are also known as the “Link Tax” and the “Censorship Machines” articles.

Articles 13 in particular forces every internet platform to filter all the contents we upload online, ending once and for all the fandom culture. Which means you won’t be able to upload any type of fandom works like fan arts, fan fictions, gif sets from your favourite films and series, edits, because it’s all copyrighted material. And you won’t also be able to share, enjoy or download other’s contents, because the use of links will be completely restricted.

But not everything’s lost yet. There’s another round of voting scheduled for the early days of July.

What you can do now to save our internet, is to share these informations with all of your family members and friends, and to ask to your MEP (the members of the European Parliament from your country) to vote NO at the next round, to vote against articles 11 and 13.

( ooc ) hi I’m not dead I’m just not living with the right combination of time and internet access for tumblr at the moment… the internet situation was unexpected and, long story short, can’t be solved.

To the roleplay peeps: sorry to all the people I told I’d roleplay with come March, I’m now postponing roleplay to the end of my internship aka September.

To the fandom peeps: this is why I’ve not been reblogging or commenting your art and fics! Sorry! I swear I’ll catch up eventually.

Dear people using banners for post titles

Please also give a text title. I’m on data 100% of the time, and pictures Do Not Load. I can’t read your banner title. I have no idea if your new chapter is for a fic I read or not - so often I just don’t read it. Same for other post titles but lately I’ve noticed it’s a trend in fanfic and I mean, that’s cool! Have fun with lovely banners, I’m sure they look amazing. The few that managed to load were. Just please also put the title in text somewhere?
