lately just logging on is enough to give me anxiety attacks so i'll be inactive for god knows how long. i'm sorry about this.

shoutout to people with ocs

that are either for fandom or purely original projects. you just spend so many hours constructing them from essentially dirt.

shoutout to people with ocs who have them go through a million changed names and a million changed backstories, and still don’t feel like they’re up to the developmental standards that they should be…but they’re still loved by you regardless. shout out to people with ocs who want to share them with others, but are too anxious to tell information about them out of fear of judgment or laughter. And shout out to these same people who’re obviously adoring their creations but feel scared as shit to express the love out of your friend’s potential annoyance. shout out to people who make their ocs align with themselves in surname or quirks or just giving them those softer, hidden traits that also make you, you. to the peeps who feel so disappointed with their creations because again, they don’t feel good enough or accurate enough compared to other ocs. Nothing is perfect on the first draft, but they’re getting closer to perfected imperfection. to the creators who will write paragraphs about those brain children, paragraphs and concepts that have been building up for months only to be greeted with no response or simple replies such as, ‘oh.’ or to people who actually pay attention to them, and ask the BIG QUESTIONS and you’re just internally screaming and have to put on this cool act. shout out to people who spend hours thinking about how they sound like. (listening to voice clips for HOURS just thinking about your characters) What songs can apply to their personality and lifestyle…how they apply to them specifically.  shout out to big-brained creators who have a hundred and one characters and are greeted with, ‘isn’t that enough?’ when you talk about the concept of making a new one. If shows can have a vast cast of more than a ten to twenty characters, you can have your own vast cast too.  this post is just for people who feel so uneasy being so deeply involved and enthused in their creations. as if, there should be a limit on this type of love.  fandom ocs get stepped over and judged on sight, non-fandom ocs really get stepped over. But all that work and construction is valid and shows in your explanatory essay of their favorite genre.

never assume anything about my character. out of character, i pray you never, ever assume you know more about the muse i’m playing than i am. do not assume you know how my muse is gonna react to something, do not assume you know his personality more than i do and that most of all do not take one trait of his personality and talk about it as though it defines them. i know my muse, i spend a hell lot of time studying him, understand his ways and working to both honor and explore the many layers of him ––– for he is human, and there is many sides to all humans. if you come to me with a shallow view on my character and assume it to be the truth and turn it into a thread, all you will do is piss me off. i will promptly ignore it as well, as i do not plan on wasting my time with people who do not respect boundaries. i won’t act like i know more about your muse than you do, do not do the same to me.

If they’re caught here and surrounded they’re as good as dead.

“We need to get out of here.” he whispered, but it was too late, the footsteps had gotten too close, and the man outside was already shouting for reinforcement. Aaron swallowed and took out his knife. He went towards the door, quickly and quietly, and stabbed the man that was making calls as soon as he decided to crack the door open. He fell with a sickening thud.

“Let’s go.” he commanded,

In the plan, she wasn't even supposed to be part of the stealing itself. That hadn't exactly worked out. She considered for a moment to grab another makeshift weapon, wrench or screwdriver. But decided against it. Being seen with a weapon would just further incriminate her.

She threw the bag over her shoulder, making sure it was closed properly before she ran. The voices were getting louder, their footsteps echoing between the walls. She slowed down, walked as if she belonged here. As if she was supposed to be here, just as one of the men hurried past. He didn't look at her twice.

Is anybody ok with my muse mentioning your muse in a thread they have with somebody else?

       YESSSSSSSSSSSS. 

       this is a pretty big issue for me actually. 

        and not just because it’s really amazing to see what other muses         say, think and feel about your muse when they’re not around but         because I WANT SOME CONTINUITY. i am trying to create a          continuity for my character where everything that isn’t an AU          has feelings and actions making sense depending on a timeline         and people they know and love. actions have consequences.          relationships and events change people. 

        roleplay without that is… well, repetitive… & not very fulfilling to me.
