Just something I thought of last night. This would be my ending for issue 50

Isabel looked at Jason and smiled. She wanted him to know she was there for him. That she cared. He deserves that. He deserved to be happy. “Jason, I know you love me but it’s not in the way you love her. I know who you’re in love with.” She said, not taking her eyes off her close friend. Jason ran a hand through his hair.

“Yeah, well. I do love you Isabel.” Jason said, sounding sincere.

“I know you do but there can never be anything between us. Except friendship.” Isabel said

“You love her. Artemis. I see the way you look at her. She’s the one you love. She’s the one you really want. I won’t stand in the way of that.”

Jason looked at her and a smile began to form in his face but it faded right after.

Jason sighed. “I.... I just.. I know you’re right but.. I don’t think it’s that simple.”

“She’s the one you love. We don’t always choose who we love. You need to tell her. Tell her how you feel.” Isabel urged

“Like I said, not that simple.” Jason said, simply.

“Of course it is. You should just tell her. We both know she feels the same about you.”

Jason knew she was right. He had to tell Artemis the truth.

“I’ve had feelings for Artemis for a long time now. I know she feels something for me but what if she backs out. What is she doesn’t feel the same anymore. What if she...”

“What if she tells you she loves you too and the two of you finally get a chance to be happy.” Isabel said and Jason nodded. Knowing she had a point.

Artemis waited for Jason. He had told her he was going to meet her outside of a diner and that he had something important to tell her. She smiled when she saw him.

“Toke you long enough.” She said, teasingly

“Yeah, sorry.” Jason said

“What is it you needed to tell me?” Artemis asked and Jason almost backed out but Isable’s words echoed in his ears.

“Umm.. I guess right to it then.” Jason said

“Are you alight?” Artemis asked

“Yeah, ok here goes nothing.” Jason said, running both hands through his hair

“I love you, Artemis. By love you I mean I’m in love with you. I’ve been in love with you for a long time and I understand if you don’t feel the same but I can’t deny it anymore. I can’t ignore my feelings anymore.I don’t want to loose you. We already lost Bizarro and I can’t loose you too.Kissing you felt so good and so right. I know we didn’t plan to feel this way but.. suddenly he was cut off by Artemis’ lips on his. Their hands roamed each other’s bodies and god it felt so good. She smiled lovingly at him when she pulled away.

“What toke you so long?” She said

“I knew you felt the same but I was afraid you might change your mind.” Jason said, feeling relieved

“I denied it for so long as well. I thought you wouldn’t feel the same anymore if you knew what I did in the past but none of that matters. I don’t want to loose you either. I haven’t heard someone tell me they loved me in a long time. I love you too, Jason.” Artemis said. They still had some things to talk over but for now at least they knew where they stood in each other’s lives. At least they knew for certain that they both felt the same about each other. For now, that was enough.

So I scrolling on Ig and saw some people debating the decisions that are going to be made in issue 50. But what triggered me was a statement that said that scott lobdell is just going to sink the Jaytemis ship after all the good development! If he does this it would not only disappointing but a shame because that was one of the only ships in dc that was not only realistic but well done. Also they were already separated for many issues and im tired of authors playing with relationships for sells!When has Jason really showed affection this deep for a woman besides Artemis? Isabell doesn't really come close. People already hate the ship for no reason and to just toss it in the trash is bad writing! All my Jaytemis fans keep writing great fan fics and maybe just maybe raise enough anger to make scott change his mind

okay so ,, let's discuss something

we have all seen this panel, and we all know the silhouette on the left doesn't correspond to isabel at all

later on the issue, isabel asks jason if the third glass of champagne is for roy, to which he confirms and makes a throwback to their adventures togheter fighting mimes in paris ,,

with this, some people have said it could be roy, and i understand where you could make out his silhouette in some lines, but even if it is drawn in a way that isn't too explicit about whose silhouette it was, it still looks a lot like a female figure, and that is pretty much confirmed as isabel is seen approaching by jason right from behind the glass (idk how to exactly explain that part, but i know y'all's artistic brains see the film worthy scene i'm seeing lmao)

so anyways, the question remains:

who does that silhouette belong to?

and this is where the possibility comes up ,, let me take you back to issue #19

the long hair, a female silhouette in a tight dress... hmm who might that be?

not only did this make me suspicious that jason was thinking of artemis (probably their date night, in specific, since it was the last date he had), but roy in issue #42 pretty much confirmed it, by confirming that jason had feelings for artemis

and now that the issue is out and i think about it and try to connect as many points as i can, it makes sense ,, one of the last conversations they had was about jason's feelings for artemis, so thinking about her led to him remembering about roy and their conversation, thus the introduction of the third glass of champagne and their moments in paris. it worked like a chain, only we didn't know it yet because issue #42 wasn't out yet

so yes ,, i do think the silhouette belongs to artemis. jason was thinking about her, and i stand by that
