Hi guys. This sucks, but I’ve kind of fallen out of love with a lot of the things I was blogging about on here. I’ve created a new blog over at @narcosbarbie where I’m gonna be blogging a lot less frequently than I ever did on here, but probably way more than I ever will on here again. So, if any of my mutuals get a follow from that account, yes that’s me! 

Love to all of the wonderful people I’ve met on here, this fandom just isn’t for me anymore. :)

For several weeks now, I’ve been receiving messages like this every day. Today all of the above came to my ask box, plus about twenty more.

People telling me to die, hoping I’m killed, someone telling me all men are scum and shouldn’t be alive, someone even being anti semetic (and I’m not even Jewish).

I block people all of the time and move on with my life. But when blogs on here actively mention my blog, by name, for weeks on end, this is what happens.

They have mentioned me specifically under the pretence of ‘he’s making the fandom toxic’. Several blogs have made upwards of twenty posts about me, specifically and identifiably, even asking their followers to ‘get me out of the fandom’.

These people tell you they are a queer community. A safe space. And yet they will publish someone’s URL for weeks at a time, full well knowing that that will make that person vulnerable to extreme harassment.

There is a significant difference between critiquing a broad theory and NEVER calling out a specific individual in order to protect them, and writing weeks worth of posts about a specific person, providing their URL.

Many of the people involved have bullied me for being a man. Which is disgusting considering I’ve written posts before, and these people were mutuals and knew, about internalised misandry. Many of these people have bullied me for my vocabulary, my upbringing. I’ve been threatened, told I’m an undercover agent, threatened with doxxing.

I didn’t call these people out for several weeks because typically bullies get bored. They move on. I assumed these people are mature adults who could cope with someone posting things they don’t agree with without mentioning them, simply by blocking and unfollowing.

Instead the leaders of this queer safe space have actively targeted the mental health and safety of someone they KNOW is transgender, openly mentioning my URL to their followers and demonising me as a person. They’ve consistently twisted things I’ve said completely out of context and won’t seem to go a single say without mentioning me, several times.

This is not normal human behaviour. It isn’t queer friendly behaviour. And even more disgustingly, it’s behaviour they called out after ONE DAY when someone in the fandom posting transphobic essays was called out by three blogs. And yet, when blogs on here with substantial followings try and call attention to me and harass me as an individual for WEEKS...it’s justified. In fact today, before I received these and others, someone pushed for me to be purged from the space.

I’ve given you all time to stop. In fact I even messaged some of you explictly telling you to stop mentioning or vaguing me because it’s not ok. You haven’t.

Some of you are even gender diverse yourselves (hi ex mutual who prides themselves on being a trans authority) and you didn’t even BOTHER to think about this kind of sentiment being sent to someone who is vulnerable like you, before you published their URL AND did it in the context of misandry.

I will be adding the names of the people who have encouraged this later if they do not stop posting specifically about me, telling their followers impliedly or not to ‘get rid of me’.

Be an adult. You do not have to view my content. And unlike you, I’ve made (AND PINNED) posts about not harassing people who disagree with me for my followers. I’ve NEVER mentioned any urls on here except the two bullies I called out yesterday, and the one URL who was being transphobic at one point in time. Why? Because I’m not a piece of shit who lures harassment directly to specific blogs I don’t like.

This is what your fandom is. These are the people you interact with. These are your big blogs and followers. These anons are from Larries. Not antis. Larries who hold themselves up as queer saints and protectors. This is the culture I have consistently critiqued only to be told it doesn’t exist.

The people who have published my URL and made sure to make posts about me, as a person, daily, shamed me for being a man, lured hatred directly to me aren’t queer friends of yours. They are disgusting human beings who will bully every single person off of this website that has the audacity to openly provide the alternate view. They’ve been doing it for ten years.

Wake up and realise that your mutuals, someone out there, literally told me they want me in a concentration camp. And you have the AUDACITY to keep pretending this space isn’t harbouring disgusting opinions thinly veiled under the surface.

I will delete this after at least some of you have seen what you’ve done, because funnily enough I don’t want to look at them. Leave specific blogs alone. Do not name vulnerable people just to win an argument or push them out of the fandom. It’s bullying, and it’s disgusting.
