New OC: Katharina by PargaFarn

Katharina was born on August 21st, 1997 as a daughter of a butcher and a saleswoman, as their only child, in a small place on the Rhein.
As a little girl, she was strongly engaged in the interests of her parents for hunting and music and thereby also developed the interest in it.
She never went hunting with her father. If he wanted to kill a deer or other forest animal. But she always accompanied him to the shooters' and folk festivals, where she was under the supervision of him to shoot targets that were not alive. Accordingly, she early made a gun license and joined his club, where she remained faithful to her youth, but left when her father died in a regrettable hunting accident. Since then she never used a gun again.
Her mother wanted that she violin. Since she herself played for a long time in an orchestra until she suffered a stroke and had to stop. As she has felt a constant trembling in her right hand and can no longer hold a bow. Fortunately, Katharina's mother can still pursue her work as a saleswoman, and the two are not dependent on welfare, although her mother's widow's pension is a not a good financial aid. But Katharina still was able to start her studies after finishing her high school.
Although her life is unified by fate-strikes that have cost her fathers life. Katharina is confident to make her parents proud. But feel the pain of his gone and want to be alone at this time.
The caring, though strict, the upbringing of her parents, made Katharina quickly become self-sufficient. Through her teachers, she developed a sense of duty that makes her stand up. What you ask of her she will do. Though she has her own head and is doing things in her own way. Which occasionally causes difficulties because she does not like to keep her thoughts to herself.
In her bachelor's degree, an old passion flared up again. About Katharina now happily and often post in her block on the internet. Trading card games.
Already as a small girl, she started to collect cards and liked to play card-based company games with her family and relatives and now like this online also over the internet and above all free to play. Tho she spends large parts of her spare time thereby.
Especially the trading card game. "LORDS OF LORE".
When she receives an e-mail from the developers of the game one day after a match. Who is fascinated by their enthusiasts block contributions and how passionate devote time into playing the game and want to make it better by critic and would like to meet her personally in order to work with her and other players to make the game with the upcoming expansion even better.
Without hesitation, she accepted her invitation and went to Japan with the next flight. Not knowing that this decision will change her whole life. For she will not only have to interrupt her studies.
On the way to the health resort, where the developers of Lords of Lore are already expecting everyone.
Katharina will notice soon that there is more behind the chaining of events, than she first suspects. As finds a casket in a temple near the hotel and awaken old spirits.

Balance Buch 1: Rote Hexe Prolog by PargaFarn
Prolog : Tochter des Waldes
„ Jeder Menschen trägt die größte vorstellbare Kraft im Herzen. Die Gabe, Vorstellung Realität werden zu lassen. „
Warmer Sonnenschein suchte sich einen Weg, durch die dichten grünen Baumkronen von Zedern, Buchen und Eichen und fiel durch das offene Fenster eines Hauses. Welches sich wie ein Geheimnis im Schutze des Waldes offenbarte.
Auf der hölzernen spröden Fensterbank, die von einem Flaum Moos überwuchert war und kleine Blumen sich dort zwischen den Grass zerbrechlich zeigten. Tummelten sich auch kleine Hochlandspatzen. Singvögel die kaum größer waren als ein Zeigefinger und pickten mir ihren winzigen Schnäbeln munter, die ausgestreuten Brotkrumen und Saatkörnern vom Vortag auf und zelebrierten erfreut über das Mahl, mit dem silbrigen Klang ihrer Stimmen und kündigten so einen neuen Morgen an und die Sonnenstrahlen wie mütterlicher Küsse, die Wangen eines jungen Mädchen berührten.
Chandra gähnte als sie die Augen öffnete und sich Gedankenlos mit einer Hand, durch ihr weiches karottenrotes Haar fuhr. Es floss förmlich von ihrem Kopf über ihre Schultern auf ihre Bettdecke und zu allen Seiten heraus und ergoss sich wie ausgeschütteter Wein über die hölzernen Parkettdielen und noch weiter, als es aus der angelehnten Tür in den Flur wo bis ins Wohnzimmer reichte. Würde man ihr Gesicht nicht zwischen all den Haaren sehen, würde man nicht einmal in der Lage sein zu sagen, wo sie anfing und ihr Haar aufhörte.
Nachdem Chandra gähnende Stimme aus dem Fenster geflohen war und in der weites des Waldes verstummte. Drehten sich die kleinen Singvögel zu ihr um und zwitscherten ungeduldig auf ihr erwachen hin um von ihr an diesem Morgen begrüßt zu werden. Chandra drehte sich zu ihnen und schenkte ihnen ein Lächeln.

The house was small and barely any furniture was found in its inner. Only the kitchen had something like furnishings Ordeal saw. So far she had only found mats on the floor in the main room and on each of which was a simple pillow.
They probably sleep here. She though. A chest stood on the other side of the room opposite to the kitchen. What was inside was hard to guess. However, a targeted hit with a stone would certainly be enough to crack the rusty lock on it to find out.
An old worn-out table served as a work surface in the niche where the kitchen was. On it stood pots, plates, and cutlery, where a matron of a woman stood and looked grim

Kapitel 7
Das Haus war klein und kaum bis keine Möbel waren in seinem inneren zu finden. Einzig und alleine die Küche hatte so etwas wie Einrichtungsgegenstände, da Ordeal bisher nur Matten auf dem Boden im Hauptraum gefunden hatte auf denen jeweils ein Kissen sich befand.
Wahrscheinlich, so so dachte sie wurde hier auch geschlafen. Eine Truhe stand auf der anderen Seite des Raumes gegenüber der Küche. Was darin sich befand war nur zu erahnen, da sie abschlossen war. Jedoch ein gezielter Schlag mit einem Stein, wäre sicherlich genug um, das rostige Schloss zu knacken.

The city name, on Ordeals question for the name, was simply, the city.
No name had been given to it since the foundation decades ago. No one had ever had to spend a thought to give a name afterward, and since the population from all parts of the country came here to seek protection in the city from the will-less, In order not to fall victim to them.
