Meet Shin-Young Oh and his best friend Hyun. Being a hardworking style influencer means Shin-Young gets to spend a lot of time out of the house scouting the latest trends, which works out well as he gets to take visits to his childhood bestie Giselle. Except nowadays they’re more than just friends. They’ve never actually spoken about their relationship status; they’re closeted soulmates, but Shin-Young is more than aware of Giselle’s actual boyfriend (well boyfriends now, but that’s for another post...). The two have undeniable feelings for each other, but Shin-Young can’t open up about his asexuality to Giselle, causing him to become more and more closed off from her. Still, he longs for Giselle to realize they are meant to be.

An aspiring writer, the introverted Tierra Bourgeois finds herself in an unfortunate financial situation following the passing of her father, who was found to be hiding over 3 years of debt. Because her mother is too old to work, she cannot afford for her daughter to keep chasing her dream. However, Tierra wasn’t about to give up on her mother, and cleaned up the spare bedroom in order to rent it out. The room was rented to Giselle Dailey. But Giselle isn’t a girl with a dream. She has a negative and lazy view of the working life, and spends too much time partying to realize what’s important in life. Perhaps Tierra can find Giselle a life’s purpose, and Giselle can help Tierra come out of her shell a little more.
