Just spent a bit of time working on my ArtFight profile. It's coming up in two months and I don't want to completely rush everything a week before like I usually do.

Team Reveal should be soon maybe next month. 4 year losing streak anyone? Of the possible teams I'm rooting for either Heart vs. Soul or Time vs. Space.

But yeah, I've been doing a lot of art this year so I'm definitely gonna bring that energy into ArtFight this July. Even if I get 0 art back like in 2022 I'm still gonna attack a bunch throughout the month. And I always to revenge attacks so if you've wanted some art that's always a good time to get some.

Thanks to "Ex Novo" (a game which I got from the PCRF itch.io bundle) I was able to make a ton of immediate progress on determining the history of Origia and how it went from Old Origia (from my Mystic Mysteries story) to New Origia (from my Blanksford story).

I also changed the Blanksford story map a decent bit as a result and even though not everything that happened during the game will be actually canon, a lot of it will be and that's exciting.

Okay so like, months ago, @blusthings drew Chloe with crutches and I was like "omg omg I love it gotta do it too"... And then I did, and hated the results and never posted it, lol. And a few days ago I found the sketch again and went "let's actually finish this".

And in the end it doesn't look that bad! Anyway, here are my headcanons :

In this AU, Chloe definitely zooms as fast as she can as soon as the ground is flat enough (Max has to run after her and it Chloe thinks it's the funniest shit). She's into skateboard, and she sometimes skates using her crutches for support, but she's actually saving up to buy herself a sports wheelchair specifically to skate, and she's already learned some tricks. She's a badass, and quite similar to the Chloe we know and love <3

So the main reason I closed my Patreon a few months back was I felt like with it I was creating "content" and not art, and that just felt personally wrong to me. So I just shut it down.

That being said I really really have been wanting to do the shirt cut meme. Like boobs are fun but I just felt like sexualizing my OCs for content behind a paywall was weird, so instead here's shirt cut meme for free but with only past art of my OCs. It feels ethically better and I think it's fun to look back at art and how I depicted boobs too. (It's so much better now than it was.)

Also I rarely drawn men but when I do I'm not afraid to occasionally sexualize them too.

Added Taylor in. It took a bunch of work. The ponytail and shirts are both great. The beanie looks okay except for the first frame where it's front facing. Tattoos are pretty minimalistic but I like them.

Not sure I like the jacket especially with how it makes the layers weird. Like should hair go under or over the jacket, what about the tails they should go over but what if jackets hang low. Plus it's another new group so I don't know if I'll keep it once I start recoding for the game.

I tried facial hair as well but at this scale it doesn't work, for the same reason there's no facial features at all.

I think some things next on the to do list is to make some of the shirts have sleeves (cuz right now it's all tank tops except for 1), make all the hair color options for most of the hairstyle options, add knee-high or thigh-high socks, add a Eli ZB brain poking out as a hat option, some other colors for the base layer clothes, and bandages as a top, and as sleeves / leggings. (The more stuff I do with art the longer I can avoid doing the code.) EDIT: Also make the beanie and maybe the other hats bounce with the walk cycle.

I changed a some small things with the main base and my color palette. I also added a subtle hair bounce and colored the hair outlines. I added Aeri's cybertech prostethic legs (which took a while). I tried some other stuff too but at this scale couldn't keep it.

Tomorrow I'm gonna add stuff to make Taylor in here too. His tattoos, ponytail, some redhead hair options, Taylor's Star Shirt, and I might try his plaid jacket (but it might be weird with how I have the layers set up), and also his beanie too.

But yeah been having a lot of fun with this all this week. I'll start coding at some point so it'll be in the game for others to play with, but for now art is the thing I'm having the most fun with.

I went ahead and added the tail. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it'd be. I also added in a demon tail while I was there since the tail needed to be on its own group and I didn't want it to be alone in there.

Working on updating my OC dressup game. Added Madi's new tattoos (which is always super annoying) and also one of her prosthetic arms.

There will be more progress soon but I wanted to post mainly because of my new understanding of how her octopus tattoo wraps around her foot. I know it's only 17 pixels here but still it was super helpful.
