my first oc was an oc for the big time rush fandom @raging-violets this will be a throwback lol, named macie! she was like the first time i had the idea for an oc and actively tried to write for her. was she INCREDIBLY marysue? yes. was she also my babygirl? also yes
here’s five fun facts about her!
she’s latina (i never decided fully on what her ethnicity is, but she’s half latina and speaks semi fluent spanish)
of the btr boys, she’d be closest to kendall and carlos. kendall bc he sees her as a mini katie and would take her under his wing as a lil sister, and carlos bc they would bond over being latino in the music industry and also i think she’s look up to him (both literally and figuratively)
her relationship with her mom is…very complicated. she was abusive for many years but has now gotten “better” and has moved on and has a new family that she treats significantly better than she did with macie and her sisters and her dad. on her 16th birthday, she gets a letter from her mom basically explaining why she did what she did and that she wants a relationship with macie and macie is like idfk what to do
my original fc for her was mckenna grace (don’t ask questions okay) but now i think either madison reyes or xochitl gomez would be who i’d choose now!
and for lucky number five, her first debut album would be called aristole and it would have similarish vibes to taylor swift’s ttpd!

yalina is a daughter of hésperos, and all her powers are light and star related. she spends most of her time at camp in apollo's cabin pre percy forcing the gods to claim their kids and yknow pay child support
the first time she would have a lot of significance is in sea of monsters when she tags along with percy and annabeth on the quest to find grover
speaking of grover, she has a itty bitty crush on him thru most of the og series (in my head he looks like aryan not the book description lol)
luke did try and get her to join him, but her love for camp and for her friends is what kept her from falling into his clutches
her and clarisse have this sort of mutual respect for each other that no one really understands

Growing up outside of St Vladimir's, Aster Faye had long accepted that while she was Moroi, she wasn't made to be amongst the likes of Rose or Lissa, that she was a simple country girl destined to practice her air magic in secret, and pine over Mason like a hopeless school girl. At least until Lissa begins to be groomed as queen, and a spot in St. Vladimir's opens up, and Aster - wanting to be closer to Mason, takes it. It's a risky choice since she's self-taught in her magic and thus wholly unpredictable, but learning is never easy. Right?
