Do you have any truth quirks?
Here’s a few fresh ones just for you, Anon!
- Mod Pony
Quirk Name: Two and One
Quirk Description: This user, upon activating their quirk, can discern three pieces of information about a person or a situation, but the catch: only two of these are true, and the other is a lie. The more the user knows about the subject they’re trying to investigate, the more clearly they’re able to discern the lie; this user’s power comes with facts and objectivity.
Quirk Name: Polygraph
Quirk Description: This user is a living lie detector test. By maintaining eye contact with a target, the user can determine whether or not they’re telling the honest truth. When eye contact is broken, the effects end, and repeated use over long periods leads to lessened accuracy as well as exhaustion.
Quirk Name: Honesty
Quirk Description: This user has the ability to make a person speak what they believe to be the truth in response to a simple question. This quirk, despite its promise, is not always infallible; if someone has taken a lie or other false sentiment to heart, and they have no reason to believe anything different, then they won’t respond with any different information.

hi! could i request some fanchild quirks for if shiozaki and mina had a kid??? thank you!
First fankid ask, woo!!! I hope these quirks work, Anon!
- Mod Pony
Quirk Name: Flytrap
Quirk Description: This user has the combined plant physiology of Ibara and the burning power of Mina. Green skin and brightly colored eyes enhance their unique appearance, characterized mainly by their full head of Gorgon-style sentient flytrap plants. They can extend their “hair” in order to bite down and restrain items and people. They can also elect to have them emit corrosive digestive enzymes, and can have them project these enzymes a short to medium distance. The more time this user spends in the sun, the more power and reach their plants have. It also doesn’t hurt to feed them the occasional cricket here and there.
Quirk Name: Toxic Thorns
Quirk Description: This user’s skin is covered in hard bumps which, at will, they can extend into sharpened barbs. Aside from the obvious cutting power, these barbs are also connected to a delivery system for a mild poison, causing disorientation and nausea to those exposed to it. With enough time and training, the user can control whether or not they administer any poison, as well as the amount they deliver.

Any witch based quirks?
Sorry for the delay, Anon!! Both mods got busy at the same time, and we really had to think hard on this ask. :’) Hope these work for you!
- Mod Pony
Quirk Name: Alchemy
Quirk Description: This quirk grants the user access to common alchemical elements that their body can naturally produce. The user can produce varying levels of the traditional three primes (mercury, salt, and sulfur), seven planetary elements (lead, tin, iron, gold, copper, mercury, and silver), and the mundane elements (antimony, arsenic, bismuth, boron, lithium, magnesium, phosphorus, platinum, potassium, and zinc).
With these elements on hand, they can perform any of the alchemical processes to create their desired end product; calcination, congelation, fixation, dissolution, digestion, distillation, sublimation, separation, incineration, fermentation, multiplication, and projection.
Of course, the user is bound not only by the amount of certain elements they can produce (with rarer and more precious elements being harder to produce in large quantities), but also by the rules and properties of chemistry. Oh, and not to mention, many of these elements are toxic and harmful to human health.
Quirk Name: Clean Takeoff
Quirk Description: The user can animate and fly with any cleaning supplies: brooms, mops, vacuums, and the like. The more a user practices getting around with a certain tool, the more control they have when in flight and when using new tools of the same build. Of course, certain cleaning products are more user-friendly than others; a broom or mop will provide more stability than skating on a pair of Roombas.
Quirk Name: Familiar
Quirk Description: The user with this quirk has control and influence over one type of animal (like cats, frogs, crows, etc), and can bend them to their will. They have a set radius of reach in order to call upon wild/roaming animals of their type, which can be trained to expand over time.
Animals the user is already friendly and familiar with are more cooperative, and able to do more complex tasks on behalf of the user. In this case, it pays to be a crazy pet person.

could you do some variations on erasure? i love this blog & all of these quirks have been so creative & cool
Aw, thank you nonnie! I wasn’t quite sure what you meant by variants, so I hope these suffice!!
- Mod Monoma
Quirk Name: Voice DeactivationQuirk Description: By speaking the names of up to five targets, the user can completely disable their quirks. The names spoken must be the targets' true name — not any aliases or hero/villain names — in order for the effect to take place, making this quirk fairly situational. The erasure happens the moment the final name is spoken, meaning the user must take care not to be interrupted if they're trying to quickly take down a group at once, and lasts for twenty minutes. If needed, the user can end the effect early by speaking the targets’ names again.
Overuse of this quirk causes throat pain, and temporary muteness.
Quirk Name: NullifyQuirk Description: With this ability, the user can erase the quirks of other people. In order to do this, they must point directly at a target for five seconds. Once that action is completed, the user may put down their hand and the target is incapable of using their quirk no matter the type, so long as the user doesn't point at another person with the same hand. The user is capable of erasing only two quirks at a time (one for each hand) and must frequently switch targets when in combat with a group if they wish to be effective, which may cause exhaustion early on.
Because there is a slight delay in the time between pointing and a quirk's nullification, the user is fairly easy to disrupt or evade.
Quirk Name: Defensive DisruptionQuirk Description: The user of this power seems to be quirkless until hit with an attack. When this happens, if the attack was fueled by a quirk, the aggressor's quirk will be cancelled the moment it hits the user. The user will still take damage from the blow, but the attacker will be incapable of using their quirk again for the next fifteen minutes. This allows the user to act as something of a defensive wall so long as they have enough stamina and pain tolerance to repeatedly jump into harm's way.
The more the user is hit by a specific quirk, the longer it will be unusable. For example; someone with a fire quirk attacks the user. Their quirk is rendered useless for fifteen minutes, but they manage to stay in the battle until it comes back. Then they attack the user again, resulting in their inability to use their quirk lasting for an additional five minutes this time.
Quirk Name: Enfeebling CircleQuirk Description: As the name implies, the user of this quirk has an ever-present circle radiating out ten feet from their body. This circle weakens the quirk of anyone who steps into it; the closer they are to the user's body the weaker their quirk becomes, meaning direct contact with (or just a small enough distance from) the user's body will completely stop a quirk from working. Having this quirk means the user excels at close-quarters combat or fighting with multiple melee enemies. However, once someone leaves the innermost ring of the circle, they immediately regain their quirk (albeit at a low level if they don't back up enough). This means the user must constantly be aware of an opponent's footing and how much distance is between them, which can be stressful and confusing.

Hi, I love this blog so much! Could I ask for some shadow related quirks? Thank you so much in advance!
Thank YOU so much for dropping us an ask!!! I hope these work for you!
- Mod Pony
Quirk Name: Wallflower
Quirk Description: This user has the ability to turn themselves into a shadow, and while in this form, they can travel across flat surfaces such as walls, floors, and ceilings. They are able to amount speed gradually if the surface they’re traveling on is completely flat, but turns and shifts to other platforms slow them down and require effort for a seamless transition. If attacked while in shadow form, they are knocked from the surface they were on, and take damage as if they were physically standing.
Quirk Name: Shade SurgeQuirk Description: With this Quirk, the user can move incredibly quickly so long as they remain in the shadow of something else. This works best with mobile objects or large hand-held ones, such as vehicles and umbrellas respectively. The user must be entirely within the shadow in order to gain this speed boost, and the longer they stay in it the faster they accelerate. In dark places or during the night, the user has no speed cap and is capable of moving faster than the human eye can track.
Being in direct light will slow the user down and make them incredibly sluggish, as well as physically weak. If a very bright light or a large amount of light is suddenly shone on the user while they’re in a shadow, it stops them entirely and briefly dazes them.
While the user suffers no lasting harm from their increased speed, coming to a stop can be incredibly hard for them if they’ve built up too much momentum.
Quirk Name: Shadow Puppet
Quirk Description: This quirk allows the user to control items, objects, and individuals via their shadow. This means that in order for their quirk to work, the thing they wish to control must have a clear shadow. If the object’s shadow diminishes or disappears altogether, the user loses control over the item. When interacting with an object’s shadow, it’s as if the object is half its normal weight, giving them a form of enhanced strength.

angel based quirks?
Hope these work for you, Anon!
- Mod Pony
Quirk Name: Divine Fire
Quirk Description: Users with this quirk wield flames unlike any other; the flames are a strange color, like pink or shining gold, and the flames only inflict damage to what the user wills it to. Something can be set aflame without burning, and when not used for damage, the fire can reveal that which is hidden: invisibility and other related powers that hide a person or an object are negated.
To ensure the flames remain burn-less, it takes a great deal of concentration and effort on part of the user, and if that is interrupted at all, the user risks accidentally setting the persons or objects in their flames on fire.
Quirk Name: Seraph Shifting
Quirk Description: This quirk grants the user the ability to transform at will into a celestial being. Upon transformation, the user is granted several pairs of wings, piercing eyes across their body, and they radiate with shining holy light. Their physical abilities are enhanced, and they gain flight speed.
Quirk Name: Throne Angel
Quirk Description: The user of this quirk can summon grand rings of fire, coating in all-seeing eyes. The user can control these rings, and whatever they see, the user can see. Upon summoning, the user can determine the size of the ring, with smaller rings having a larger range of travel than bigger scale rings. If the rings take too much damage or if their fires are put out, they ‘die’ and are un-summoned.

Any space related quirks?
Some of these moon quirks may suit your needs, but here’s a couple more space-y ones!
- Mod Pony
Quirk Name: Supernova
Quirk Description: Users with this quirk have the ability to create brilliant starlight explosions at the cost of their physical mass. Over time, the user can gradually gain more and more mass, and can elect to either section it off and create a series of smaller explosions, or at great risk and personal cost, one large-scale explosion. Rest and recuperation after battles is key for the user, since overuse of their quirk could lead to irreparable damage.
Quirk Name: Gas Giant
Quirk Description: This user’s body is comprised mainly of gases, ice, and liquid metals, giving them a less than corporeal presence. Their “true” body is small and hard like stone, but the layers of gases gives them a much larger appearance. At will, they can concentrate certain elements of their body in order to make attacks. They also have an innate magnetic field around them, meaning refrigerator magnets stand no chance.
Quirk Name: Diamond Rain
Quirk Description: This user has the ability to control and turn carbon into its crystal form to make a wide arrange of cutting attacks; diamond hail, improvised diamond weapons, clouds of sharp diamond dust, et cetera. Fights this user participates in are VERY popular for some reason. Free gemstones, anyone?

oooh quirks relating to bones? (like bones in ur body)
I could only think of two, I hope that’s alright!
- Mod Monoma
Quirk Name: RibcageQuirk Description: With this quirk, the user can form a defensive cage around themself using their bones. The user has slits in their torso that the bones slide out from, a rather painless process, in order to encase their body in a makeshift breastplate. The user’s ribs become harder and inflexible once taking this form, allowing them to absorb more damage than they would normally.
However, they are still just bones. They can be snapped off if enough force is applied to them, which is incredibly painful for the user. If too many are broken, the user will be incapacitated by the pain and possibly fall unconscious. Broken bones regrow, but are weak and sensitive for a week after.
Quirk Name: UnbreakableQuirk Description: The user’s spine is incredibly durable and incapable of being broken. No matter how much force is applied to it, the user’s spine will remain unharmed even as other bones around it break. This allows the user to walk off damage fairly well, at the cost of reduced flexibility and a lack of speed due to how heavy their spine is.
The user sinks when submerged in water, allowing them to walk along the bottom of pools and ponds.

any dragon related quirks?
I tried to avoid transformation types entirely because there’s a canon character with a transformation dragon quirk! Hope these are alright, my apologies for the wait!!- Mod Monoma
Quirk Name: FlamebreathQuirk Description: The user of this quirk is born with specialized pockets on the roof of their mouth that, when the user exhales with enough force, release a cloud of flammable gas. This gas is toxic if inhaled and can cause coughing fits, but isn’t particularly notable on its own. The flame portion of this quirk comes when the gas is exposed to a spark, such as a lighter held before the user’s mouth, and it turns to fire. This fire burns incredibly hot, but the blast only lasts for as long as the user can breathe out.
The user has no direct immunity to fire and can still be singed by any flames they create. Overuse of this ability causes a sore throat and mouth.
Quirk Name: Komodo DragonQuirk Description: As the name implies, this quirk gives its user the traits and abilities of a Komodo Dragon. While not a literal dragon, the user is still fairly powerful; they have a strong bite that leads to infection if the wounds are left untreated, powerful claws for digging and rending flesh, and a strong sense of smell. The user also possesses the ability to breathe while swallowing something large, and a slow metabolism that allows them to live on as few as twelve months a year.
However, they’re cold-blooded and they have an incredibly weak sense of hearing.
Quirk Name: Scaled WingsQuirk Description: The user of this quirk is born with large membranous wings that sprout from their back, on the middle of their back and beneath their arms. These wings are covered in tough, fireproof scales that allow the user to shield themself from oncoming flame based attacks. They’re also useful for flight, thanks to the user’s hollow bones and short stature.
But, even with this quirk making the user small and light, these wings have to be incredibly large to support the user’s weight. This means that flight is impossible in small spaces or heavily crowded areas.
Quirk Name: KirinQuirk Description: This quirk grants its user traits similar to those of a Kirin. The user is covered in dragon-like or fish-like scales, has strong cloven hooves, and antlers or a single horn.
The user can deliver hard kicks with their hooves, or trample downed foes with ease. They can also spear opponents using their horn/antlers by rushing with their head lowered, though this ability can be incredibly lethal if the user’s aim is off. It can even be harmful for the user; they’re lowering their head and running towards a target, which leaves room for attacks based on the back of their head or their neck.

do you have any limitations for a quirk which allows the user to edit objects within reality the way we do with html/css? it's touch- and thought-based. thank you!!
Neither mod knows much about HTML or CSS, anon! I don’t think we can help with this one, we’re sorry!! The most I think we could suggest is that the user must maintain contact or line of sight with an object, or it’ll revert to normal?

thank you!! i have an oc with hydrokinesis, do you have any limitation ideas? im all out of. so far i have it set to where she can only control about 20,000 gallons (sounds more than it really is) and cannot summon it out of thin air, but can instead draw from a source within 25 yards!!
Here’s a few limitation ideas to pick and choose from! I couldn’t think of too many, but I hope these are alright.
- Mod Monoma
- She can only draw from natural sources of water, such as the ocean or a nearby stream. She can’t use water from man-made structures, like water towers or personal ponds.
- There has to be at least ten gallons of water in the source for her to draw from it.
- When controlling a large amount of water, she has to use more focus to keep from accidentally spilling it or missing her target.
- Trying to use this quirk in winter may result in her water freezing if she doesn’t keep it moving. This would make battling against ice users, or in low temperatures, difficult; she’ll be out of a weapon if she stands still for too long.

Could we see a Quirk related to an obscure species of animal, please?
Why have just one when you can have eight? Hope you enjoy these options! :)
- Mod Pony
Quirk Name: Diplocaulus
Quirk Description: This user shares many physical traits with the extinct amphibian Diplocaulus, most notably the large boomerang-shaped head. Because of their unique physiology, they are highly adapted to swimming, being able to make sharp turns and coast along the surface at will. Good luck finding shirts that aren’t button ups, though.
Quirk Name: Goblin Shark
Quirk Description: This user shares traits with a deep-sea species of shark known as the goblin shark. Along with having sharp teeth and a pronounced snout, the user has the ability to extend their jaws an incredible distance. Due to the deep-sea physiology of this fish, they also have increased resistance against cold, low-oxygen, and high-pressure environments. For the same reason, this user also has fairly poor eyesight, especially in bright light.
Quirk Name: Aye-Aye
Quirk Description: This user has the large eyes, ears, and spindly fingers of the Aye-Aye. Nocturnal vision, enhanced hearing, extreme reach and primate dexterity are among their main abilities. Not to mention, a face only a mother could love.
Quirk Name: Platypus
Quirk Description: This user has a slew of mutant features: leathery bill and tail, webbed hands and feet, and sharp spines on the wrists and heels that administer sharp doses of painful venom. Strange? Adorable? Yes.
Quirk Name: Pangolin
Quirk Description: This user has the dexterous tail, thick scale covering, and powerful claws of the pangolin. Defense curls and rolling advances are their forte, as well as the most polite little face you’ve ever seen.
Quirk Name: Mantis Shrimp
Quirk Description: This user is endowed with the fierce melee abilities of the mantis shrimp. With highly specialized eyes, they can see colors of light most humans can’t, and the striking speed of their specialized, ever-readied claws is fast enough to create a small explosion.
Quirk Name: Hummingbird Moth
Quirk Description: This user has the unique physiology of the hummingbird moth. Though insect-like in nature, they have similar flight patterns and speed of true hummingbirds. Not to mention, a curled proboscis… they won’t be kissing babies any time soon.
Quirk Name: Honeypot Ant
Quirk Description: This quirk is a blend of mutant physiology and a restoration quirk; the user has a specialized insect abdomen that stores a honey-like substance with regenerative qualities. The user can amass as much of it as their body can hold, and at will can distribute it in order to speed up the healing process of mild to moderate wounds.

quirks based around the moon, please? thank you
This was a SUPER fun ask to answer, I love the concept of moon quirks!!
- Mod Pony
Quirk Name: Moon’s Agents
Quirk Description: This quirk allows the user to summon and control iterations of lunar energy. Item type, strength, and duration of control varies depending on time of day and current lunar phase, with midnight and full moons lending way to peak power. Summoned items include but are not limited to: weapons, shields, and animated constructs. Extended use of this quirk causes constructs to become unruly, weapons to weaken, and so on.
Quirk Name: Diana’s Bow
Quirk Description: This user has the ability to wield a bow and arrows made of lunar essence. The effort of drawing back, aiming, and accuracy is lessened the closer it is to the full moon. At will, the user can summon a single ornate longbow and an unlimited number of arrows, but after some time the repeated summoning will become exhausting.
Quirk Name: Lunar Pull
Quirk Description: This user has an innate field of gravity around them, and at will, they can suspend any object in their gravity that they have the strength to pick up and hold normally. The strength and radius of their gravity waxes and wanes with the phases of the moon, and overuse will reduce the strength and range of its hold.
Quirk Name: Lycanthrope
Quirk Description: This user has the ability to take on the characteristics of a large, feral wolf-like creature at will. While in daylight, they can only transform partially; sharpening their teeth, turning their hands into clawed paws, et cetera. In the dark or while in the moonlight, the user can fully transform into a werewolf, but at the cost of reduced rational and emotional control. Additionally, on unusual lunar events (blood moons, eclipses, etc.), the user runs the risk of transforming fully at near double their normal strength, at a cost of little to no control of their actions and aggression.
