Emergency Knitting Commissions [OPEN]

The image kind of speaks for itself but I'm opening up commissions for small knitted pieces (coasters, small pixel art, wrist warmers) with the hope that I'll get enough commissions to keep me afloat for bills. The post-fire credit debt is REAL. I wouldn't wish it on anyone and I wish I'd been able to open knitting commissions under better circumstances. I've done pixel art of my friends' favorite pokemon and their pokesonas, as well as villagersonas from Animal Crossing. I say 3 weeks in the event that I get a commission for the absolute limit I've set on pixel art and I have to have all the colors sponsored, but one coaster generally takes ~12 hours of work, so I can probably get a coaster commission done in a weekend if I put my nose to the grindstone a bit.

fireworksgate is fucking real yall i was walking by some residential street earlier today and a car driving by threw a bigass firecracker out their window at a house with three kids playing in the front yard and their mom. cops pulled up SUSPICIOUSLY fast (like literally 10 seconds later fast), rolled down their window, listened to the mom, basically said “wow that sucks, good luck”, and drove off without getting out

I just got my physical copy of this wonderful tome by Arcanist Press! It has a great introduction that explains why the use of the term “Race” in our beloved role-playing games is so problematic, and then offers a great solution for it that fits right in-between existing 5e rules.

We’ve been looking for a good alternative to “Race” for the character options we publish on our patreon, and we’re now going to do some tests to see if this model is something we could use.

we are now officially at a point where the virus is BEYOND our ability to control spread because arrogant, money-grubbing turds in positions of authority refuse to listen to sound science or do anything about crumbling infrastructure nationwide. the re-opening is a farce for profit and is going to get SO MANY PEOPLE killed.

do people really still think states are reopening because coronavirus is under control and becoming less common ??? the re-opening is literally just for money. nothing has changed in real life to warrant it other than concerns about the economy.

Can I watch a great film knowing the actresses in it were terrorized and mistreated the entire time? Can I watch a football game knowing that the players are getting brain injuries right before my eyes? Can I listen to my favorite albums anymore knowing that the singers were all beating their wives in between studio sessions? Can I eat at the new fancy taco place knowing when the building that used to be there got bulldozed eight families got kicked out of their homes so they could be replaced with condos and a chain restaurant? Can I wear the affordable clothes I bought downtown that were probably assembled in a sweatshop with child labor? Can I eat quinoa? Can I eat this burger? Can I drink this bottled water? Can I buy a car and drive to work because I’m sick of taking an hour each way on the subway? Whose bones do I stand on? Whose bones am I standing on right now?
