A Series of Unfortunate Screen Caps - The Return Pt. 2 (part 28)
It's been an age since I made one of these but with the sheer amount of the unfortunate caps from this episode it had to be done. Mostly John and Carson.
My cats have this meow that means "please come with me to fix this" after which they'll lead me to the problem in question, usually a empty (or 'empty') food bowl or a closed door they want open. They look at the 'problem', they look back at me, clear message.
What fascinates me is how this illustrates what they percieve as being in the realm of my 'power.' I control the food, I control the door, sure, but my cats love to sit on the balcony in the sun, and it has happened plenty of times that on a rainy day they come get me, go to the balcony and show me... the rain. "Please fix this" they say. "Please get rid of the wet"
"Silly kitty," I say, "I can't control the rain." I then walk into the shower and turn on the rain.
After most naps my cat has started whimpering as she stretches and wakes and honestly. I've never related to her more. I too would rather still be sleeping
hi, Im wondering if you can help me find a daniel/jack fic I've been looking for for a While
I read it on ao3 but it's an Old one, if I remember correctly from before 2010. Daniel volunteers to take in a tok'ra queen and jack is really angry about it. then they need someone to provide sperm to make baby's and jack does it because he gets really jealous. I think they then got stranded on a planet in a city they couldn't leave for a few years? and every now and then there were flashbacks from the tok'ra queen about her past
I remember that it was really long, like 100k words I think. Ive spent such a long time searching ao3 but I can't find it. I'm worried it's deleted :(
I don't know the answer, but let's see if it rings any bells for someone who has been in the fandom for longer than me.
Daniel: When I said bring me something back from the beach I meant like a conch shell!
Teal'c: *Struggling to hold a seagull* Please be more precise next time Daniel Jackson
We honestly just need to stop trying to make criteria for what being nonbinary is point blank. I really don't give a shit if people think this would obscure the term into uselessness because right now the concept of a nonbinary person is a skinny person who transitions into elfish androgyny, typically thought to also be white and afab by default. Which excludes, like, the vast majority of people who are nonbinary to serve some imagined ideal of a third gender
