Amelia and I were well taken care of guests by @balam_says (I have been longing to meet Balam, up close Balam looks unreal, like an avatar!). We visited to photograph, & Amelia video the @balamfoundation ‘s event, sponsoring 250 cats to get free sterilization. I photographed the people who traveled hours with their beloved cats in bags and blankets and the hard working Veterinarians who worked for 12 hours a day and spoke to all with patience and respect. Now my job is to get this work published which may help this charitable generous organization do more good work, helping save cats and economical challenged people take care of their cats. Saturday Indie comes home from whippet camp as I was away photographing in Miguel Allende @balamfoundation & @balam_says and tomorrow onto D.C. after I teach today at @wpunj I am so grateful to Phaedra @every_cats_fairy_godmother for the experience of photographing the event she sponsored to sterilize 250 cats and the 5 kittens she rescued from the garbage. Daniel, at 13 weeks old, is an active #whippet puppy. The goal is for Daniel to stop chasing the cats and not to jumping on Indie. It’s been almost a month since Ruby died and we are trying to be distracted. We miss our Ruby so much. These kids are related to Ruby, on his father’s side. One of the boy whippets, chosen by Mary Magee’s, will be joining our family. We have not settled on a name yet.
