Hello Tumblr people!

As I've said on my new blog, I'm retiring from Tumblr. However, I still have a bunch of prints and charms in storage that probably won't see the light of day again. As my Etsy Store has been pretty MIA ever since Crunchyroll struck me. And I'm also not feeling like putting it all back up again.

I don't want neither the prints nor the charms to just rot away and collect dust or just throw them away, there's too much effort that went into them.

so I thought I'd just hand them out.

the idea I had was, packing up some prints, like a random 5-6 of all I have, pack them up and send them to anyone who wants some.

Same goes for Charms, although, it'll be a little less random here, as my evelopes only hold max 2 of them, as well as the Dabi ones being nearly sold out. So heads up for that, it's probably gonna be either Toga or Hawks.

All I ask is for you to cover the shipping. (If you wanna add a little tip or whatever, go for it, but it's not required.)

Thought a little about things while being semi offline. And I've decided I'll quit Tumblr indefinitely. I haven't missed this website one bit, I felt anxious whenever I thought about getting back and couldn't really do it.

Truth to be told, I despise the community climate here. More often than not, I feel like I'm in a highschool lunch room or something. Everything is kind of clique'y. Every other day there's some personal drama on dash and it's just not for me. Maybe it's a cultural thing and most of the people on dash are just the "typical" bubbly american and my european ass has a hard time being bubbly for the sake of trying to make friends.

On top of that, I want to focus more on my physical as well as my mental health. My glucose readings are already much better than they were in November, and I've lost almost 50lbs since then too, and I don't think sitting on tumblr and pressing F5 for new pretty fanart is going to help me in that endeavor in the long run.

I'll probably sit around on twitter a little more as I don't feel like it's as social interaction driven as this hellsite. Can just drop my art there when I do draw and then dip without feeling nearly anxious about it. Honestly, I think I could do without twitter too, but alas, I gotta make a little bit of money somehow, so I might as well just sit there.

Was fun while it lasted. I won't delete the account or my old one, maybe I feel like coming back one day.

Out of wholehearted curiosity, when did you decide to get rats? second question are they as cute in person as they look in pics? Third question, how does one play with a rat, I have this crippling fear of small animals biting me after a cousins hamster

Beginning of last year. I wanted a dog desperately but I live in the city and a relatively small apartment. And most breeds I want are either very hard to legally keep in an apartment or b, simply too large. And on top of that, I'm struggling hard with social anxiety and depression so it'd be unfair if I can't take out my dog for walks for days. Had rats a teenager already and they're basically the closest thing to dogs you can get that fits in a cage and won't hate you if you don't have the energy for them for a day or two.

And yes, they're even cuter in person than they are in pictures. Pictures don't capture the bruxing (rat version of purring) when you talk to them, or the boggling (another rat version of purring) when you pet them. :)

As for the third... Some rats like rough housing, some like hunting a little cat rod (or in my case damn cable ties lol), can train them like dogs, play fetch if you teach them how to, can cuddle with them, some rats like playing tag even. In terms of biting... Rats are the least likely to bite among small pets. Rats are HIGHLY social, versus hamsters being solitary. To give you an idea to the extremes, if you keep Hamsters (even if they're siblings) they might just kill eachother. Male mice will kill eachother too. Male Guinea pigs don't get along if you don't give them enough space. Rats on the other hand, get actually depressed, sick and might die when kept alone, but can keep all ages and sexes (assuming spayed for obvious reasons lol) together without anyone getting hurt. They'll find the most crammed spot and squeeze themselves in there into a pile of 7 rats. So, rats being this social also means they have the ability to actually empathise with eachother and their humans aka. they know when they hurt you and 95% of the time, do not want to hurt their humans. The other 5% are rats that are hormonally aggressive but neutering will make that stop, or rats that are scared for their lives and don't know how else to defend themselves OR, simply very stressed rattos that don't know you yet (like my Beryl). My Nari is very shy, doesn't like getting touched or picked up and shortly before christmas, he had a little abscess on his jaw that thankfully popped on it's own, but needed cleaning afterwards. He was pissing himself in fear because he hates it that much, but even he didn't bite me then. I've had 9 rats in total myself now and friends that had rats and I have never been seriously bitten. Been nibbled on, Cyno has nipped me once because I spooked him (he's blind so it's my own fault), and Beryl nipping me a few times in the first week, he did break skin and it did hurt a little but none of them were any serious bites lol.

Intro's are taking a little longer than I'd like. Should've known introducing two adult packs isn't going as smoothly as intro'ing babies and teenager.

Beryl hurt his foot pretty badly and needed some extra care. So him and Lapis moved to a different cage for the weekend while Beryl's foot is/was healing.

He hurt his toes and ear before too but they didn't bleed nearly as much as this. I think he's fine now for the most part and we'll continue later today when I'm back home from therapy.

Bitey Beryl has very much become a softy with me at least. But he keeps picking fights he can't take and gets hurt in the process.
