The Witching Hour

Shrouded by trees and perpetual shadows, a mansion sits perched at the top of a hill. Hidden in the midst of a rainy forest, the Belladonna Manor has nearly been forgotten to time, but odd rumors still cloud the Victorian Manor in mystery. According to the rumors, the mansion’s clock rings every thirteen hours. The lights will move ominously around the night sky. The mansion will disappear and reappear at random.

However, perhaps the strangest rumor surrounding the manor are the strange figures seen coming and going from the old house. Only one thing is certain, the Belladonna Manor is to be avoided at all costs.

And YOU have been cordially invited to a Charity Gala hosted at the Belladonna Manor. Enclosed in your invitation are tickets for all necessary transportation to reach the Manor, as well as our sincere plea that you find the time in your schedule to make it. We look forward to your presence at the upcoming gala. Everyone is just dying to meet you.

The Witching Hour is a discord based mkg roleplay. Taking place in a Haunted Mansion, The Witching Hour takes inspiration from Disney’s Haunted Mansion, Luigi’s Mansion, and The Witch’s House. The roleplay will utilize college aged OCs with Occupations rather than the traditional DR Ultimates.

This game will include puzzles, investigations, trials, and more; with three potential endings based on in character actions and decisions. Have the chance to guide the story and work hard to unlock all of the game’s lore. The game will have a cast of 20 characters, including mod OCs. We look forward to meeting the Belladonna Manor’s next esteemed guests!

Sorry to bother, I was wondering when the next game or round(?) will begin, and if you will be putting out applications for it? Though I roleplay I am also an artist, and I was wondering if you were looking for another one? I’m sorry >~

We don’t know when the next game will come! I am definitely excited to possibly host a sequel with lovely, but time wont allow until summer rolls around, I think. I am considering maybe hosting a short prequel to RD.

The prequel would take place in one of the killing games held before the one that occurs in RD that had ended in a mistrial, killing everyone save for the blackened. Though I’m not sure if I want to go through with this for sure though! Just an idea i’ve been mulling over.

Either way! any further installments of Royal Despair will definitely be less polished as this game. This game was a huge commitment with lots of work and love put into the artworks, and it would be difficult to keep that up, I think. It’s hard to say!
