Coping after that new episode

NND shippers and RG shippers shouldn’t be fighting over who got crumbs in EP 8! We should all be celebrating! They’re two great (the best imo) Ruby ships! Ruby falling in love with someone with the inevitable fate of carrying the world’s burdens on their shoulders while struggling to find their identity and trying to stay positive during dark times with freckles and green/orange color scheme. I mean, they’re practically sister ships!

So Brighteyes Weekend has officially come to a close. Thank you to every one who made this first-time event so much fun! It has been great to gather and see the community for this ship get so excited.

Day 2, give it up for Day 2! I decided to go for the prompt “Recharge”, bit more of a simpler style, but I hope you all like it all the same. Ruby sat on Oscars porch her leg in a cast from a rather embarrassing training accident she was looking over an ancient looking shotgun Oscar had said it was his great grandfathers and had asked her to look over it to see if it was fixable it was a simple thing a plain over under break action 12 gauge but she was distracted from the porch she had a perfect view of Oscar and penny Oscar was hard at work bailing hay and when he finished penny brought it up to the barn on her shoulders before she had even realized she had gone from occasionally glancing up to look at them to to staring and she thinks there starting to notice Oscar keeps smiling when they lock eyes and penny has waved more than once she barely notices the time creep by before she knows it the hay is bailed and penny is off playing won't chickens and she can just barely see Oscar lol of hair peeking from the barn Window she lets out a sigh and picks the ancient shot gun back up the stock is cracked and warped Oscar had told her that it had been left in a duck blind for a long time the barrel is rusted and the one of the firing pins is missing but again she's distracted penny is running up to the porch it's easy to forget how fast penny is cause it only takes her a few moments to run the whole way from the chicken coup "ruby look" she holds out a fuzzy yellow chick it's eyes wide ruby smiles down at the chick "it's name is hellen hellen the hen" penny says matter of factly ruby snorts "well she's very cute" penny sets the chick into her hand "I brought her to keep you company I also wanted to ask if you want to watch the stars tonight boy friend Oscar said there will also be a full moon so I think it will be nice" penny says moving her hands around excitedly ruby smiles "that sounds nice what's Oscar doing" penny giggles "he's taking a nap in the loft he said he was gonna go take inventory of the hay' but I think he was just tired" ruby laughs and gives her a kiss "a nap doesn't sound bad how about you go get him and we can take one inside" penny smiles and lifts rubies chin and gives her a kiss "I'll be back in a moment girlfriend ruby" and skips off towards the barn

This is a server for trios & poly ships that include both Ruby and Oscar. Trios and poly ships tend to have smaller fandoms, so I thought it would be nice to have a space that combines several together, so we can have a wider community. All ship discussions will be confined to their respective channels so that if any ship makes you uncomfortable, you can mute the channel for it :)

you may have seen this link already from the brighteyesweek post about it, as there is a brighteyes channel, but I wanted to say some of the other ships there are channels for:

- compassrose (rg+oz) - whiterosegarden (rg+weiss) - stoplight (rg+jaune) - snowgarden (rg+whitley) - team powr (penny, oscar, whitley, ruby)

there is also a section for rosegarden (without a third/others) as that’s the link between all of these, but bear in mind there is a rosegarden server already so if that’s your main thing, you may prefer to be in there instead.

there are a couple other channels, and we can add more for anything not yet included! there isn’t any conversation yet outside of brighteyes (for obvious reasons of that’s the circle it’s been shared to so far) but feel free to come in and start stuff going!

basic rules: no sexism, homophobia/transphobia, racism, ableism. All adult content must go in the nsfw channels, keep it PG13 outside of them. No discussion of incestuous ships (defined here as characters with confirmed in show blood relation)
