Top surgery - Nipple Grafts
So since surgery I’ve been paranoid about my grafts being infected, failing, taking too long to heal or just random things. I was told avg healing time was 2-3 wks but can take up to 6 weeks.
Changed my dressings today and I’m pretty sure the scab bit is very close to falling off. I can see a lot of pink around the edges where it’s slightly lifted up. Good sign. No longer worried. Most important thing for anyone getting grafts to remember, don’t touch at all. Don’t pick, let it do its thing. And follow your surgeons post op instructions to the letter.
I think being allowed to stop using the post op vest helped a lot.

This is a link to a q&a Andy did a little while back. I watched them before my first consult just to get an idea of the kind of person he is. Even has a bit where he talks about health insurance.

In need of a helping hand
Today my spouse and I are in an extremely vulnerable position. We are a young trans & gay couple struggling to make end’s meet
We are currently homeless, with medical bills piling up (both of us are transitioning).  plus the cost of medications that we need monthly… it’s simply too much to manage. We are not giving up, but we are simply incapable of getting through this without assistance.
Since moving to Oregon, our overall quality of life HAS improved,  but we are working and putting all of our income directly into housing, with our combined incomes, we don’t have enough to cover the expense of shelter AND transportation. We NEED our car, it is imperative for our survival (We have had to sleep in it, on more than a few ocassions, and my spouse uses it for work.)
Please help us
To send imediate relief please consider donating directly to us.

Probably one of the cheapest packing methods there is
Save your money and don’t buy harnesses/specially made packing underwear and just do this.
Find a pair of underwear with two layers where the crotch is. Mine are from Kmart.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cut a line in the inside layer
Tumblr media
Stick your packer/bundled up socks in there
Tumblr media
And there ya go, no spending $30 on packing underwear no waiting for shipping. And it won’t fall out.
(Not my idea, found it on a yt vid, thought it needed sharing)

Month 2 on T
- Main change has been a major voice drop.
- hot flashes, more frequent and intense.
- More body hair on torso/stomach and thighs.
- I've noticed tiny black hairs on my upper lip.
- Think I've become broader as I've had to buy another binder one size up.
- Can do wayyyy more push-ups, I can do 30 straight if I really try. Pre-T I could do maybe one or two

I'm trying to discreetly get a binder while in a transphobic household. Does anyone know what the packaging from GC2B looks like?
Lee says:There’s a link to that in the binding faq!

Agree ^ if you're dependent on them financially and/or for housing, it's best to wait because you can't hide the effects of T for long. If you're like me (my voice dropped within a month). If there's a risk to your safety or a risk of getting kicked out, please wait.
im planning on moving out of state as soon as college is over bc of my transphobic family.. and i was wondering if i should wait to go on T until after i move or if i should go ahead and start soon? i still have 3 years to go before i can be free 😞
The TTSG mods say:
Hi anon! Unfortunately, your ask has been sitting in our inbox for awhile now and none of the mods are quite sure how to answer it or don’t have enough time to give your ask the answer it deserves.
However, we really like your question, so we’re going to hand this over to the followers and hope that one of them can help you. You can also check out our Other trans resource blogs page and re-ask your question to someone else, as different blogs have different specialties.
We’re sorry we couldn’t be of more help, but we have over a thousand unanswered asks in our inbox, and we have to clear it out for a fresh start in the new year. We hope a follower or another blog can provide more assistance.

I found this by accident a little while ago and thought it'd help some MTF peeps:
https://youtu.be/Ah5DGHXbKmk
Heya. I’m MTF and I’m getting quite Dysphoric over my voice, especially at work over the PA system where everyone can here me and expect to be greeted by a guy at the registers. I was just wondering if you know any goo techniques or way to train my voice so that it sounds right. Thank you so much! I hope you all have a lovely day!
Saff says:
It can be really hard when you have to use your voice at work. I used to work the phones at a hotel doing room service.
The great thing is there are plenty tutorials and videos on youtube for at least finding the what is called the ‘head voice’ (typically a higher range than the chest voice). People recommend singing songs typically performed by female singers (even if you suck) and work on getting your head voice.
This is a lengthy process and can be very frustrating, but it is possible!
Lee says:
Our Voice link has some info on starting to practice voice training!
