Bag Donation for Underprivileged Children in Bhopal – Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust

India is a country with a population of more than 1.3 billion and only and one-third of them can read. Rapidly growing population, shortages of teachers, books, and basic facilities, and insufficient public funds to cover education costs are some of the nation’s toughest challenges. Education is an important aspect of life for achieving success in life. Education is important to live with happiness & prosperity and also empowers minds to be able to conceive good thoughts and ideas. The Underprivileged children of India need our help as living under above mentioned circumstances, the children got exposed to the harsher realities of life.

Many organizations around the world are working towards helping and protecting the underprivileged. Many have come up with initiatives for promoting education. These type initiatives are launched every day and people around the world are working hard towards making the world a better place. Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust is one such organization who have been working for 27 years towards the betterment of underprivileged people. Radhe Maa has inspired countless number of followers in the country and abroad to share what they have with the less fortunate through health camps, and donations of books, medicines and clothes.

SADHUBHOJ - Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust.

Many people believe that giving people whatever they want to give is a donation, but that not what donation is, a donation is giving people whatever they need. If you donate clothes to somebody who already has many clothes, it is of no use. Instead, give clothes to people who need clothes. Similarly, wasting and throwing away food is irrational. Instead, give food to the hungry and clothes to people who need them.

Shri Radhe Maa Trust believes in the same principle of donation and has been working towards its goal to provide people with what they need the most since 27 years. Shri Radhe Maa has organized many initiatives like health camps, donations of books, medicines, and clothes for the unprivileged people. Shri Radhe Maa truly personifies the thought that there is more happiness in giving than receiving. Every person has the right to access resources and opportunities in order to live and develop with dignity and to become an active and contributing member of our society.

Shri Radhe Maa Trust has organized many initiatives for the improvement of society as a whole. One of these recent initiatives was “SADHU BHOJ”, where sadhu from all around the city were provided with food and served as their will. Volunteers of Shri Radhe Maa trust were assisting with the process and they were making sure everyone leaves with their stomach full. There were a variety of dishes and fruits for all the sadhus, and after the bhoj, the sadhus were given “Dakshina” as a memento of acknowledgment, respect, and thanks.

Some people don’t have food to eat, some don’t have clothes to wear, and some don’t even have a shelter to live; all these are unprivileged people who are majorly facing rough time throughout their life. Many organizations have helped these people in betterment of their future and few organizations are taking steps towards reducing the suffering of these unprivileged people by providing them food to eat, blankets to cover their body with, and also clothes to wear.

Relief for Radhe Maa: Godwoman not named as accused in dowry harassment case

Self styled 'godwoman' Radhe Maa was questioned last year in connection with a dowry harassment case.

Self styled 'godwoman' Radhe Maa, who was questioned last year in connection with a dowry harassment complaint filed by a woman, has not been named as an accused in the case, a senior police officer said. Sukhvinder Kaur, alias Radhe Maa, has not been named in the charge sheet submitted by the Kandivali police in a local court. "Since we haven't found any evidence against Kaur, she has not been named as an accused in the case," the officer said.

However, six others persons, including the complainant woman's husband and in-laws, have been made accused in the case, police said. The charge sheet was filed about 10 days back, the officer added. A 32-year-old woman had last year filed a complaint of domestic violence and dowry harassment against her in-laws and Radhe Maa. She alleged that the 'godwoman' instigated her in-laws, who have been her followers for last several years. Later, Radhe Maa was questioned by police in connection with the case where she denied all allegations against her. She was also granted interim pre-arrest bail by the Bombay High Court in the case.

Who is Radhe Maa?

Born in Dorangala village in Gurdaspur on April 4, 1965, Sukhvinder Kaur was reportedly drawn to spirituality from her childhood days and would spend time at the Maa Kali temple in her village. She was introduced to spirituality by Shri Mahan Ramdeen Das at the age of 23. She is married and has three kids. In fact, she's a grandmother as well!

She has been accused of obscene behaviour

Radhe Maa has been accused of indecent behaviour by advocate Falguni Brambhatt who has filed a complaint of obscenity, as the god-woman reportedly allows her followers to kiss and hug her.

Can’t name her as she is not blood relative: chargesheet

In statements recorded in May, Kaur’s aides — Punjab natives Ritu Sareen alias Chhoti Maa and Gaurav Kumar alias Talli Baba — have accused Nikki of lying and attempting to malign Kaur’s reputation.

The Mumbai Police have found no proof that self-proclaimed godwoman Radhe Maa egged on six members of a family to physically assault a 32-year-old woman over dowry demands. Her name has thus been dropped as an accused in the charge sheet filed last month.

The police’s 230-page chargesheet names Nakul Gupta, his father Daulat Gupta, mother Lata Gupta, brother Sandeep Gupta, sister-in -law Jyoti Gupta and uncle Jagmohan Gupta for domestic violence, demanding dowry, criminal breach of trust, criminal intimidation, cheating, voluntarily causing hurt, insult and common intention.

They have been accused by Nakul’s wife Nikki Gupta of cheating her family of Rs 1.25 crore in expenses duringher engagement, wedding, dowry and alleged gifts to Radhe Maa, alias Sukhvinder Kaur, in 2012.

Nakul and his family have been accused of demanding Rs 65 lakh more from Nikki to purchase an apartment.

The chargesheet, however, states that Kaur cannot be charged with domestic violence as she is not a blood relative of the Gupta family. The police have also found no evidence to suggest that Nikki’s in-laws illegally confiscated her belongings at Kaur’s behest.

The chargesheet also says that Nikki has not provided any proof that she was forced to gift expensive jewellery to Kaur.

The police has also recorded statements of Kaur’s closest aides, both of whom have denied that she harassed Nikki.

In her complaint to the police, Nikki had alleged that soon after her marriage, when her father expressed inability to pay Rs 65 lakh to her in-laws, she was made to forcefully serve Kaur, massage her legs and clean her house. Kaur also allegedly abused and assaulted Nikki on several occasions.

However, in statements recorded in May, Kaur’s aides — Punjab natives Ritu Sareen alias Chhoti Maa and Gaurav Kumar alias Talli Baba — have accused Nikki of lying and attempting to malign Kaur’s reputation.

Both have stated that they are the only two individuals who care for Kaur, and that no one else is allowed to do so.

“Nikki Gupta never visited our house alone. So where does the question of her being forced to sweep the floors arise?” their statements read.

They have also told the police that Kaur has never declared herself to be a ‘god’ and instead urges her disciples to worship God.

Folding Beds Donation Drive By Shri Radhe Maa

3 March 2019, Delhi: Shri Radhe Maa distributed free folding beds and necessary equipment to people with disability at Japanese Park, Rohini, Sector 10, Delhi on 3rd March 2019. Shri Radhe Maa has been helping the homeless and disabled individuals realizing their need of folding beds to sleep on a piece of firm furniture to avoid the pain that gets into their body while sleeping on footpaths or without any cover. Hence, Shri Radhe Maa Charitable Society took the initiative to distribute free folding beds to the divyang people present at the donation drive. Shri Radhe Maa celebrated her birthday with more than 7,000 handicapped (divyang) people at Delhi. These people were benefitted from the free-necessities- drive conducted on an auspicious day. The allocation of various tools and equipment began at 9 am sharp witnessing a massive number of people marking their presence.Radhe Maa Ji said, “Sabse Badi Seva Manav Seva Hoti Hai.” She always wishes to celebrate her birthday by serving people and that is what she did wholeheartedly this year on 3rd March 2019.

3 March 2019, Delhi: Shri Radhe Maa Charitable Society, Delhi & Lion Club of Delhi organized blood donation camp on 3rd March 2019. The camp was put together in Rohini park sector -6 Delhi. It was inaugurated by Shri Radhe Maa Ji.

This was conducted keeping in mind the acute blood shortage that hospitals are forced to grapple with during medical emergencies.
