Honestly when I was reading your description of yourself and your ideal relationship, it all just screamed Saeyoung to me. He has so many of those qualities you want and you two both want a lot of the same things in life, and while he may be a bit on the younger side than what you’d usually go for, he’s still very much an adult and can be mature when he wants to be lol so I think your relationship together would still work very well :>

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- First of all he thinks you’re absolutely beautiful, the most gorgeous person he’s literally ever seen, and he doesn’t hesitate to tell you this all the time especially when he can sense you’re feeling a bit insecure about yourself. He thinks your curvy/chubby body is beautiful, and he adores your dyed hair and piercings as well lol. He will never let you doubt his love for you or how beautiful you are, the second he sees you looking in the mirror with uncertainty in your eyes he’s quick to wrap his arms around you and list every part of you that he finds absolutely stunning and wouldn’t change for the world <3

- He loves your sense of humor as well! You’ll no longer be the only one laughing at your jokes when Saeyoung is around, he has pretty much the same sense of humor and often cracks similar jokes so even if everyone else is giving the two of you weird looks, you’ll both just be in your own little world cracking up together hehe

- And he’s definitely an introvert like you, some of his favorite days spent with you are just lazy days at home where both of you are relaxed and laying in your pajamas together, with no responsibilities or worries clouding your mind so you just get to spend the whole day doing nothing but relaxing and cuddling together <3 He wishes he could spend every day like that honestly, and you’re the one person who manages to get him to feel like it’s okay to take breaks like that and just let his worries go for a bit to relax with you

- On a more serious note, I feel like when you first met him, Saeyoung was terrified at the thought of having kids. Given his own life and his family, he believed for so long that he’d be a terrible father and that no kid deserved to grow up like that. But with your help and the way you’re able to break down his defenses and get him to open up the way he does in his good ending, he slowly starts to come around to the fact that he’d likely be a wonderful father, and finds that he quite wants kids someday as well, and he’s incredibly thankful that you’re the person he’ll be taking that step with some day as he truly doesn’t think he could do it without you

- He absolutely adores how clingy and cuddly you are as well, as he’s a huge cuddle bug and always wants to be holding you or vice versa lol. He usually tries to let you initiate, though, as he knows that physical affection can sometimes make you anxious, so he just wants to make sure he doesn’t catch you on a bad day and accidentally overstep or make you uncomfortable without realizing

- And while at first he can be a bit awkward with his words when it comes to showing love, as he’s just not used to opening up and being vulnerable in that way, over time he gets better at it because he wants to make sure you know how much he adores you and how much you’ve truly changed his life for the better in so many ways

- He would totally be into anime and k-pop as well lol, he gets so invested into the shows and even dabbles into cosplay on occasion as we’ve seen lol and he likes a super diverse range of shows too :> And as for k-pop I feel like he’d like girl groups in particular, he’ll blast his music at all hours of the day and he absolutely kills the dances when he actually takes the time to learn them lol he’s just that good

- And finally, as someone who’s also struggled a lot with his mental health and knows how mood swings can be, he’s the most understanding partner you could ever ask for in that aspect. Even though he’s typically vibrant and playful, when you’re struggling mentally he knows how to turn that off and be much more gentle and reassuring with you, and he’s more than happy to be a listening ear if you need to vent or to give you some space if you’re experiencing mood swings and just need some time to sort through your feelings. And when he’s struggling with his mental health, over time he learns that it’s safe for him to go to you in that same way, and you become the first person to truly see all of him, including the vulnerable parts he usually keeps locked away, as he learns just how good it feels to be comforted by someone he loves <3

Second Choice:

I also strongly considered either Zen or Yoosung for your match-up, as I felt like they both fit a lot of similar qualities in a partner. But I feel like each of them had areas where they just didn’t quite fit as well with you as Saeyoung did, as Yoosung was on the younger side and may not be the best at banter and sarcasm, while Zen would be more extroverted and less likely to enjoy lazy days at home. So while I thought they could both potentially make good matches, Saeyoung just fulfilled pretty much all of the qualities you wanted in a partner so he seemed like the best choice overall :]

For Demon Slayer, I’d Match You With:

Kyujuro Rengoku! :)

Reasoning:

I just felt like Kyojuro would be the absolute perfect partner for you. He’s such a caring, loving guy, and while he has some differences to you (like his more extroverted nature) he’s not overbearing about it in your relationships and I feel like those differences would honestly enhance your relationship rather than hinder it <3

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- First off, I think Kyojuro would absolutely adore your more shy, gentle, nurturing behavior. He’s definitely much more bold and outgoing than you are lol but he’s also someone who really enjoys caring for and nurturing his loved ones, so the two of you are able to give that to each other and are both able to lean on each other when things get hard and you feel like you can’t tell anyone else :) And because you both have similar attitudes, it keeps either of you from overexerting yourselves for someone else as he always stops you from pushing yourself too far to help others and vice versa

- And he knows you’re not good at confrontation, and he’s more than willing to do it for you if you’re upset with someone else! Of course he doesn’t go nuclear or anything (unless they deserve it, he gets furious if anyone tries to seriously harm you), he’s a kind person at heart so he handles the issue well, but he’s not afraid to address any issues for you if you’re uncomfortable doing it yourself. And while he’s not always the most perceptive, he can usually tell when you’re upset with him, and he’ll give you the space to share those feelings with him rather than bottling them up so the two of you can communicate and solve the issue, because he never wants to hurt you or make you upset in any way <3

- He love love loves cooking for you as well! You know how he is about food lol so he’s always cooking up tasty meals for you, and he has a habit of including random ingredients into onigiri to see how it tastes, but he usually likes everything and isn’t super picky so you have to tell him if something tastes bad to you lol (idk if you’ve seen the “Will it Onigiri” series on TikTok but that’s kinda what I’m picturing here!) And if you hate one of his creations he always makes you a nice, fresh batch of milk tea to wash down the taste hehe

- And he absolutely ADORES your baking, this man would have such a sweet tooth so whenever he comes home at night or wakes up in the morning to the smell of baked goods in the air he rushes towards the kitchen with a wide, eager grin on his face as he waits to be the first to taste whatever he made <3 And he’ll eat things straight out of the oven too, this man’s mouth has lost ANY heat senses so he’ll have a whole dessert in his mouth and be chattering on about how delicious it was the second you’ve set the tray down to cool </3

- He thinks you’re so so beautiful as well, he was drawn to you from the moment he saw you and is still constantly telling you (very loudly, might I add) that you look absolutely stunning <3 He loves your round face and button nose and he’s constantly cupping your cheeks in his hands as he kisses your nose when you first wake up in the mornings, and I think he’d definitely be a curly hair guy so he LOVES your hair as well :)

- He thinks your fantasy maps are so cool too! :D I don’t think he’d have a whole lot of time to get into fantasy literature or games or anything just because of how busy his line of work is, but he always supports your interests and finds the maps in particular to be so incredibly cool :> He likes watching you make them sometimes, the process can be so creative and intricate and he will proudly display them in the house when you’re done with them if you’ll allow him to

- And as for quality time, boy does he give you plenty of that. I feel like Kyojuro is one of those people that could happily be around his partner all the time if he were able to, and while he will absolutely give you alone time if you ask for it (and he’s unfortunately kept busy a lot of the time with his work) he spends pretty much all of his free time with you <3 And he’s always doing cute little things for you like making you lunch boxes and writing sweet notes in all caps or tidying up the house on the rare occasion that he’s home and you’re not, in order to make you smile and take some stress off your shoulders

- He’s such a sucker for your gifts too, he always cherishes them and will show them off to anyone who will listen (especially Mitsuri because she loves hearing about how romantic you can be) If it’s something he’s able to carry with him while out on missions, he absolutely will, as carrying something you gave him is a nice token of home for him and reminds him what he’s fighting for when he’s struggling to get through a mission

I chose this match pretty quickly for you honestly, but ironically, I think if I were to choose another match for you it would probably be Akaza lol. He would be so respectful towards you and would also encourage you to share your feelings, and he would absolutely not be afraid to show his love to you at all lol he treats you like a queen <3 I just felt like Kyojuro fit with you a little better so he won out in the end :)

Reasoning:

This one I struggled with a bit more since I don’t know as many BSD characters, but when I looked through all of the ones I did know, I felt that Kunikida would be the best suited to you and your needs in a relationship <3 He may seem a bit loud and harsh at first, but with your gentle, shy nature he’d always return the same gentleness and respect towards you, and as the two of you grow closer I know he’d be the absolute dream partner for you

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- He knows you’re very much a nurturing person, and while he does appreciate the ways in which you take care of him and all of those around you and occasionally seeks out your comfort and support after a particularly rough week, he’s honestly not in need of comfort a lot of the time and can be pretty self-sufficient most of the time. But he knows how you often over-exert yourself in favor of helping others, so he takes this as an opportunity to show you that same love and care you give to others, and to let you be taken care of for a change as he pampers and looks after you and your emotional needs rather than you always being the one to care for everyone else <3

- He’s another one I feel would adore your dark, curly/wavy hair, and he especially finds the little accessories you like to put in your hair so endearing <3 It’s a small thing, but it’s just so characteristically you that whenever he finds one of your little hairclips accidentally left at his home, the sight brings a soft smile to his face as it reminds him of you and how precious you are to him

- And he probably wouldn’t admit this to anyone else, but he’s absolutely a sentimentalist when it comes to your relationship and cherishes every gift you give him <3 He makes a point to use any gifts you’ve given him whenever possible in order to show his appreciation, and he keeps a meticulous list of things you like and have mentioned wanting so that he can also get you the perfect gifts whenever celebrations and/or holidays come around :D

- Early on in the relationship, I do think he may feel a bit awkward about showing his love for you, just because he’s not super experienced in relationships and is also afraid of ovestepping boundaries or making you uncomfortable (and also getting teased by his colleagues lol)

- And while he never really becomes a big PDA guy or anything, he definitely shows his love in other ways as your relationship progresses. He’s big on holding hands wherever you go together so that he never loses sight of you, and he can wax poetic about his love for you and write such heartfelt notes on special occasions to make sure you know how grateful he is that you choose to spend your life with him

- He would also really enjoy reading your writing, if you’ll allo him. He’ll cook for both of you when he gets home on time, and he wakes up every morning to make you a nice cup of tea and your favorite breakfast so you have a nice way to start your day :]

I considered matching you with Dazai as well, as I thought that the two of you shared some similar qualities and that the ways in which you oppose each other could make an interesting, fun relationship dynamic. I just wasn’t sure as I felt it may be difficult for him to handle heavy conversations especially when you’re upset with him, so I figured Kunikida may be a bit of a better fit as he’d be quick to understand your emotions and sensitivities while Dazai just may take a bit longer to figure that stuff out :]

For Haikyuu, I’d Match You With:

Reasoning:

There were several different Haikyuu boys I had in mind when thinking of your match-up, but in the end, Suga stood out to me as unlike all these other match-ups, I feel like both of you have so many similarities but are also SO different in some ways and so you’d just perfectly match up and complement one another in the best way :D

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- For starters, I TOTALLY see Suga as a major cat dad lol once the two of you end up moving in together he immediately starts asking about getting a cat. And he’d splurge on expensive, high-quality food for the cat and tons of toys and such even on his teacher’s salary, and his absolute favorite thing to do at the end of a long day is to cuddle up in bed with you with the cat laying on top of or between both of you :D

- He’s another one who loves you’re style, he’s a big fan of the comfy and stylish combo. He loves when you wear warm, fuzzy sweaters and hoodies too lol since it makes it feel extra cozy when he wraps his arms around you, and he likes to help you get ready in small ways in the morning like buttoning your button-up for you just to get that small extra bit of time with you hehe :>

- He also thinks you’re very pretty, he loves your glasses and your eyes in particular <3 He thinks your eyes are just so mesmerizing, he can sometimes stare into hem for ages before you snap him out of it, and your glasses just accentuate them more and he thinks the gold in the frames brings out the color of your eyes too

- I think Suga would be super interested in all your creative hobbies, but drawing in particular would really catch his attention and intrigue him. Of course he loves to read anything you’ve written if you ask, but he’s especially fond of watching you draw, and if you ever draw anything for him he’ll definitely be dramatic and make a huge spectacle of it, and he’ll either hang it up in the house or in his classroom so he can show off what you made for him :)

- With your more shy and reserved nature when first getting to know people, Suga would be good at breaking the ice and making conversation with you at first when he can tell you’re still shy around him, but he’s just a little bit shy himself while also managing to come across as friendly and fun to be around, he’s the kind of person who feels easy to open up around because despite his jokes and teasing, you just know he’s got a heart of gold beneath it all and is never actually judging you

- And once your relationship is established and he knows just how much you’re always trying to be there for others, he makes it his personal goal to be that same person for you. I also really considered either Asahi or Kita when choosing your match-up. Both of them felt like they’d be amazing partners to you and would be able to fulfill a lot of your needs, but honestly, I just thought that the dynamic between you and Suga would be so perfect that he ended up winning over those two in the end despite how lovely all three of them are :>

Reasoning:

I know this one seems totally obvious considering your profile picture lol but I promise I tried not to be biased with this and to come into it with an open mind, he just seemed to be the clear best option to me when reading about the kind of person you’d want to be with as well as the kind of person you are. He’s very different from a lot of the other AOT men and I think that he’s uiquely suited to you and your needs and wants in a relationship, and the two of you would truly be like two peas in a pod together

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- He knows how you love the sky pretty much the same way he loves the sea, so he loves to combine those two loves and take you to the beach where he can stare at the ocean as he leans against you, while you can lay on the nice, comfy towel he brought and stare up at the sky <3 If you two go at night I think he’d enjoy stargazing with you too, as it helps bring him out of all the worries in his mind for a moment and lets him think about something far off into space and just enjoy the moment with you

- Armin would also be SUCH a cat person omg he’s the type of guy who would see some stray kittens hanging around scout headquarters and leave out food for them to make sure they don’t go hungry <3 And once the dust has settled on everything and the two of you are able to move in together he does the same thing, and you two would probably eventually end up adopting at least one of the strays as you both just completely fall in love with it

- This may seem like something simple, but I feel like Armin really enjoys your aesthetic and your color palette in general. He adores all the blues and pale shades, and though he’s always complimenting you because he wants to make sure you always feel loved and admired by him, he’s a little bit extra complimentary whenever he notices you wearing one of his favorite blue pieces of clothing hehe

- And he’s absolutely big on reading and literature, so when he finds out you enjoy writing in your free time, he would find it so admirable. He knows that writing can be an emotional outlet for some people and may be sensitive to share, so he never pushes you, but if you offer to let him read something of yours his eyes would literally sparkle with excitement lol he’d immediately jump at the opportunity and tell you everything he adores about what you’ve written

- I think after everything he’s been through, Armin has times where he really struggles with his mental health, and he often has nightmares in particular. He has some similar fears with you like the thought of losing everyone he loves, and the thought that he’s a horrible person and everyone will eventually grow to despise him also often haunts him in his sleep, and it’s those times in particular that he could not be more grateful for your nurturing aura <3 Being able to cry it out in your arms and listen to your reassurances after a particularly horrible nightmare is what keeps him going through each day sometimes, and he always makes sure to show his appreciation for all the emotional support you show him

- And of course he shows you that same support as well. Armin is an incredibly perceptive person, so even if you don’t tell him something’s wrong, he’s always quick to notice and address it so that he can comfort you in return. If someone’s causing you problems he’s more than happy to confront them, but if you’re just in need of some affection and a listening ear while you vent or some reassurance, he’s amazing at that as well as he always knows how to make you feel heard and loved

- He’d also be really big on quality time, given the things he’s experienced and the losses he’s suffered he knows how easily it is to lose the ones you love most without ever expecting it, so he’s careful to never take his time with you for granted. He often plans dates or occasions for you two to spend time together, and even if you’re just relaxing in bed together and each doing separate things, just being with you and knowing that you’re still there beside him warms his heart and puts his mind at ease

- He loves when you wear cozy clothes, especially sweaters and hoodies. They make hugs with you feel so warm and fuzzy, and he’s a big fan of just coming up to you and nuzzling into your chest or laying his head on your stomach when you have a nice, warm sweater on and he’s in need of a little extra affection

Honestly this one was tougher, Armin felt like a pretty perfect match for you and not a lot of other AOT guys really stood out to me in comparison. I think either Reiner or Jean could also match with you well, as I believe they could be the type to be more observant and sensitive towards your feelings in a relationship in comparison to a lot of other AOT men and could be the kind of partner you would want, but Armin is just such a perfect pick that it felt hard to consider anyone else.

Reasoning:

Honestly, I found that you and Simeon had quite a few similarities both in personalities and in hobbies/interests, but you also both had enough differences that your relationship would be a perfect balance of having your own interests/hobbies but also plenty of things to do together :) I also just thought he’d be the perfect partner for you based on your description of yourself as well as what you do and don’t like in a person

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- First things first, I think he would find your hair really beautiful, and he loves helping you with it if/when you’ll allow him. He enjoys brushing through it and is so gentle to make sure he doesn’t cause you any pain, and he’s an expert at styling hair (because Simeon’s good at pretty much everything lol) so he loves to put it up for you if you’ll let him :>

- And he love love loves your aesthetic as well! He thinks the put-together, academia type style is so attractive in general and it looks especially good on you in his eyes, and blue and purple are both two of his favorite colors too <3 He’s constantly complimenting your style and wardrobe, he literally adores every outfit you put together

- He finds your tradition of baking a homemade cake on birthdays so endearing, the first time you baked one for him and he saw the silly message you had put on top he was literally close to tears hehe :] He’s very sentimental and he loves things like that, and I think he would take a photo of the cake on his phone (after a few minutes of figuring how to turn the flash off lol) before anyone’s allowed to dig into it. ➳ for pretty much the same reasons that i’ve mentioned previously, i see you doing very well with an extroverted personality that’s willing to just come right up to you and adopt you into their circle LMAO

➳ nejire just found you so sooo cute and pretty! she loves your pastel/feminine clothing style, and definitely approached you out of the blue bombarding you with questions about where you get your outfits and accessories from, what hair care and products you use to get your hair at such a pretty shade of pink and nice texture, etc. you may find yourself a bit intimidated at first by how upfront she could be, as well as how she’s one of the members of the big 3, but she means well!

➳ as you’ve piqued her interest, nejire would constantly try to approach and make conversation with you whenever she gets to see you! of course, it’s not to the point that it’s overbearing, and it naturally has you wondering what someone of her status wants with you. nejire only happens to be endlessly curious about you and you can tell that she genuinely wants to get to know you through the questions she’d ask you about yourself!

➳ nejire uses TONS of physical affection to hint at her feelings for you. she would work her way up and first use subtle gestures, such as brushing her fingertips against yours to then leaning her head on your shoulder to gauge a reaction out of you. as soon as she catches your flustered expression, she becomes much bolder, interlacing her fingers with yours as you walk side by side and wrapping her arms around you every time she greets you. she’ll continue to do so until it’s physically impossible for her to keep her hands off you, and expect her to keep doing so throughout your relationship!

➳ of course, she’d definitely rope you into frequent hangouts with the rest of the big 3! which again may be intimidating for you at first with HOW much of a big deal they are, but they were rather quick to take a liking to you! especially tamaki, despite taking the most time to warm up to you. being surrounded by more outgoing personalities like mirio and nejire, he finds you refreshing to be around due to how much in common he feels that you share with him!

➳ dates with nejire are spontaneous in nature, you’re both always doing something together. you could be studying together at a cute cafe she wanted to check out, but end up getting distracted by each other’s presence as you both chat away about different topics until closing hours thus worsening your procrastination at times lol. or you could be at each other’s dorms having spa days as you do each other’s skincare routines as a musical plays on the tv.

➳ it is common whenever you go on a musical binging marathon with her to sing along the different parts together. during some of the romantic scenes, nejire would also take your hands in hers and bring you to dance with her, giggling at any missteps made as you awkwardly twirl her in the wrong direction. it’s the little things like slow dancing together in the living room as you stare lovingly into other’s eyes that are always the most romantic moments. nejire swore she’d never seen anyone so beautiful until the moment she laid her eyes on you <3

➳ she loves to join in on your hobbies! especially when you feel like journaling, she’d take you to a scenic location to have a picnic so that you can have some inspiration, and lean onto your shoulder, peering over at what you’re writing. she’d even pick some flowers or any other foliage that catches her eye that you could press and decorate your journals with later. whenever you write, she’s always the first to volunteer to read any of your drafts, and she always offers to help brainstorm any ideas if you’re ever stuck with coming up with something for a story. it makes her feel happy when you incorporate one of her ideas into your drafts!

➳ nejire always keeps a collection of things that remind her of you. whenever you walk into her dorm you’ll see a bunch of polaroids taken together with her strung on fairy lights with clothespins, each having a date and little memo written. and she always treasures all the little gifts you give her with her life, keeping each of them on a shelf and well taken care of. she loves how much thought and love you put into everything you give her. if it’s a handwritten letter and flowers for example, she has them framed and preserved so that the memory of the day she received them lasts forever.

➳ overall, there is never a dull moment with nejire by your side! everyday is a brand new adventure with her, and you’ll always find yourselves discovering new things to do together and making new memories with each passing second. nejire is the perfect person to help you live life to the fullest without any regrets <3

This is the fastest I’ve ever made my mind up on a match for a match-up honestly before I even finished reading your ask I got the vibe that you and Suguru would fit perfectly together, reading your description of yourself you just seemed like the kind of person he’d admire and absolutely adore. And when I read further and saw your description of your type and the kind of partner you want/things you don’t want in a partner, that just cemented my decision and I knew Suguru would be perfect for you because he just meets all of those qualities to a t in my mind <3

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- Starting off, Suguru’s definitely the one to approach you first, and he doesn’t mind being persistent and moving the relationship at your pace, from a developing friendship into a romantic relationship. He thinks you’re stunning which is why he approaches you in the first place, and though you’re not quick to open up, something just… draws him to you. He feels a connection, and can already see that the two of you are quite similar in several ways, so he continues to seek you out and pursue you (without being too pushy or crossing boundaries, of course) as your relationship develops and you grow more comfortable around him over time. He’s patient, and willing to wait until you feel the same commection with him that he does to you before making any major moves

- As mentioned above, Suguru would think you’re absolutely stunning. As someone with a few piercings himself (and he often thinks about potentially getting more at some point) he adores all of your piercings, and he’s particularly partial to the navel piercing when he gets the chance to see it as he loves how it looks on you and is considering one for himself as well :) He also loves how much you change your hair, there’s never been a single cut or color that he thought didn’t look amazing on you, he loves them all and really enjoys if you’ll let him help you in some way when you dye it fun colors when you do it at home :> He’s very skilled at dyeing hair so you’re in good hands, I promise!

Suguru, in my opinion at least, would definitely be quite a good cook, and he loves making food from different regions or cultures and hearing your thoughts on his recipes. He also keeps track of favorite recipes of yours, and brings them out if you ever decide to confide in him that you’re having a hard time (as he knows you don’t typically like being vulnerable in that way), or if you have an anniversary or holiday celebration coming up. And in return, he’s happy to enjoy the fruits of your labor whenever you bake, he really enjoys getting to have a sweet treat from you after a nice meal from him

- Though he may seem calm and composed on the outside, I feel like he’d really enjoy participating in some of your more thrill-seeking activities with you every now and then. He starts off with mild activities, like asking if he can join you on a somewhat similar hike, but eventually advances into other, more serious risk-taking activities with you. Though he is typically a more careful and cautious person, sometimes he gets overwhelmed if life feels too monotonous or organized for him, and that boost of adrenaline is something he enjoys joining you in from time to time even if he doesn’t go with you on every single adventure of yours

- I think skin-care and hair-care are interests of yours that Suguru would definitely enjoy trying with you. He enjoys taking care of himself and his appearance (he knows he’s a very pretty man), and he also enjoys getting to stay up late into the night and enjoy this time where things feel most relaxed and peaceful with you. He would be more than willing to purchase expensive products, those fluffy hairbands to hold back your hair, fancy face and/or hair masks, etc. for both of you, he enjoys going all out when you two have self-care evenings. It’s especially a favorite occasion of his when he finds himself starting to struggle and spiral mentally, as it helps ground him and make him feel connected with you once more. And he especially loves it if you play with and/or comb through his hair, it melts away all his stress instantly and just feels like pure heaven to him <3

- Sometimes, when you’re open to it, I think he’d really enjoy studying with you, as he finds both of your majors and minors absolutely fascinating. He’d pick up a delicious pastry for each of you and two cups of chai on his way over to your house, and just quietly watch and absorb what he can while you study. Psychology and medieval history both particularly draw him in, and while he usually lets you study independently and does his best not to interrupt you as he observes and learns the information alongside you, he’s more than happy to help you study by quizzing you or using flashcards or however else you’d like him to help if you ask for his assistance. It even occasionally leads to impromptu philosophical discussions when one or both of you gets particularly enthralled in one of the topics you’re studying and you have some time to spare

- Suguru’s also definitely not someone who’s overly jealous or possessive, so I believe the two of you would work well in that way. The way you two are able to banter with one another and the way that he feels secure both in himself thanks to his self-sufficiency and in your relationship makes it so that he feels no need to be jealous. He knows you, he knows you’re loyal to him, and he knows that you don’t often open up to people and that he’s one of the people who you’ve opened up to the most. So because of this I don’t think he’d really ever get jealous or possessive, he trusts you and fully respects your autonomy and ability to make your own choices.

- Suguru is absolutely a cat person, I think you both would be fully in agreement on that. You’re both similar to cats in many ways, and I think that once both of you were ready to move in with each other and felt that you were able to commit to the shared commitment of getting a pet and all the responsibilities it entails, he’d absolutely love to get a cat with you. He’s partial to black cats in particular, though if you’d prefer a different kind of cat, he doesn’t feel a need to argue. And he’d definitely do his share of the work when owning the cat, he doesn’t shy away from his responsibilities and always makes sure that it’s fully taken care of

- In general, I think he’d also really enjoy getting to see your more playful and mischievous side. He tends to gravitate towards those sorts of people anyways, and he can easily tease you back and keep that energy going in return. And he doesn’t mind that you can sometimes be a bit of a troublemaker either, in fact, occasionally he finds himself involved in your schemes as he can be a bit mischievous himself when he’s in a particular mood. It’s easy for the two of you to laugh the situation off after the fact, though, and with his luck you always manage to escape with minimal backlash, but he enjoys those moments where he feels like he can just let loose and have fun with you without being so concerned about other people or what they think <3

Second Choice:

Honestly Suguru felt like such a perfect choice for you that I didn’t even really have anyone else in mind while deciding or writing your match-up, but if I had to choose someone else and he wasn’t an option, I think I’d probably go with either Nanami or Sukuna. Neither of them feel quite as fitting as Suguru does, and I think Nanami would probably fit a little better than Sukuna overall, but I feel that both of them could meet most if not all of your described needs in a relationship and partner and would still be able to fit well with you overall. Suguru would just be able to understand you in a unique way I feel, and he’s more independent and also more teasing and humorous than the other two, which is part of why he felt like the best pick overall.

Reasoning:

This one I went back and forth on a bit, but when I thought about Iwaizumi in particular, I realized that I think he also meets a lot of your ideals and needs in a partner/relationship and would fit very well with you and your personality. Though he may not totally fit your physical type, he’s obviously still very handsome and as you mentioned personality came first for you over looks, his personality seemed to be like a pretty perfect fit with yours and I think the two of you would make a very good, healthy couple :)

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- I think Iwa may feel a bit nervous about initiating conversation at first if you don’t seem very interested in him, but he grows more comfortable in time and is willing to pursue you and give you time to decide that he’s the one you want to be with. He’s not… shy, per se, he’s just a bit hesitant to risk pushing your boundaries and risk making you uncomfortable as the last thing he wants is to seem pushy or disrespectful. So it takes some time for him to feel out how you feel and if you’re comfortable around him as he slowly starts spending more time with you and eventually introducing romantic intentions into the mix, but when he’s able to test the waters and see you slowly open up to him, he grows more comfortable in time and doesn’t mind taking his time in pursuing you in order to give you time to feel comfortable in this new relationship

- He would also fully be respectful of your desire for some independence and self-sufficiency within your relationship, and I believe he’s also a person who deeply values still being able to be independent and himself even when in a relationship with someone. He absolutely loves and adores you, but he also acknowledges that that doesn’t mean you two have to do everything together or share all the same interests or agree on every small thing. In contrast to the last match-up, I considered several different characters before settling on one for you this time. Kenma, Akaashi, and Suna were all considerations in my mind. However, none of them felt quite right for one reason or another. I feel like Kenma may be a bit un-ambitious or possibly clingy for your tases, and Suna similarly felt like he may not have as big of a drive or ambition for new experiences (though they do both meet a lot of your other desired qualities as well). Akaashi felt like a pretty close fit as well, but in the end, I simply felt that Iwaizumi fit your desires for a partner better and would be the kind of boyfriend who would work very well with you, moreso than all the other possible characters I considered.

AAAA Noya! <3<3<3 I love him so much he was actually the first boy in Haikyuu that really caught my eye when I watched it the first time, so it's exciting to be matched with him hehe :>

-> As boisterous and friendly as he normally is, he completely clams up the first few times he tries talking to you! He can’t help it - talking to cute girls, especially if he doesn’t know them, causes him to just freeze up (and then he’s mentally kicking himself for looking and sounding stupid). The first coherent thing out of his mouth (immediately after a greeting) is a compliment on your bright pink hair - it totally caught his eye, and he loves how the color looks on you and how it contrasts nicely with your green eyes. It does make him feel a little bit better that you also seem to be struggling to move the awkward, stilted conversation forward, though. Of course, this is all temporary - both you and Noya are friendly with a knack for connecting with others; the initial awkwardness will dissipate soon enough, and then the two of you will be yapping all the time.

-> For all your overthinking and worrying over problems big and small, Nishinoya brings a straightforward, simplistic approach to any concerns you might have. For him, if it’s out of his control or if it’s something that ultimately isn’t going to bring about great consequences, he simply makes it a point to not worry about it. Sure, he has his worries just like everyone else does, but as long as he does all that he can and faces his issues head-on, he has no choice but to see how it all plays out. -> Noya isn’t the most creatively-inclined, but he’s your biggest hype man. It doesn’t matter if whatever project you’re working on is in the planning stage, halfway done, or completely finished - he loves to see it, and always has supportive, genuine compliments. And, really, all that matters to him is that you have an outlet where you can express and enjoy yourself. Volleyball is his passion (obviously, given the amount of blood, sweat, and tears he’s poured into practicing and becoming skilled) and he would prefer it if his partner also had something they were passionate about, something they loved doing on a regular basis. It’s easy for him to relate to someone like that, even if his area of interest is different from yours. Besides, whatever is important to you is important to him by extension. He wants to support you (and expects that you will also support him), which includes learning all about all the different types of art you engage in.

-> Your patience and reserved nature tempers Noya’s more excitable, impulsive one. He can get pretty fired up - in both a good way and a bad way. Yes, he’s quick to become eager and energetic, but he has a pretty quick temper on him as well. -> And ultimately, the two of you aren’t so dissimilar in the way that you’re both very emotional, expressive people. Each of you have your own forms of expression, prone to different moods, but your emotionality is a strong bonding point for you two. You’re easily moved to tears, be it from happiness, sorrow, frustration - and it’s something that Noya finds surprisingly endearing. Funnily enough, he never considered himself much of a crier… Until he got together with you. Other times, he scrunches up his nose at the ridiculous pun that just came out of your mouth (he claims he hates puns and dad humor, but he just doesn’t want to be seen thinking such dorky humor is actually funny). Well, you’re probably having fun regardless, even in light of his more lukewarm reactions to your humor. And really, he wouldn’t have it any other way. Noya loves your humor, and he likes being silly in turn, adoring your smile and laugh. He’s big on exaggerations - exclamations, big reactions, intense expressions on his cute face.

-> Both in light of your own personal preference, and how excitable Noya is, movie nights are best done at home. You love how it’s much more cozy and personal compared to a theater, and there’s less pressure to be quiet and respectful of the dozens of others who may be watching the same film (especially considering Tanaka once mentioned how noisy and rambunctious Noya gets when watching action films…) Noya is often in charge of buying and prepping the snacks while you get to pick the movie and set up the living room or bedroom. Regardless where the two of you set up, he insists on snuggling… though, he’s very much the type to squirm, tense up, and scoot to the edge of his seat during suspenseful scenes. You definitely get him to branch out in terms of genre - though, he’d really rather not watch any more horror films… he will politely ask you to spare him.

-> Luckily for you, Nishinoya is very open about his adoration and affection for you. And he’s not shy about it at all (until you do something especially cute - such as sneaking up behind him and wrapping your arms around his shoulders in a tight hug, for example - and he malfunctions for a moment). He’s more than happy to be the one to cuddle up to you in bed, or beckon you over when he’s hanging out on the couch watching something. Noya is very sweet when verbally expressing his affection for you, too, using little nicknames, complimenting you, saying how lucky he is that you’re in his life… You won’t even get the chance to doubt his feelings for you! Initially, he pouted a bit when you would hesitate to initiate any sort of physical affection with him, but he’s quick to understand that it’s because it makes you shy, rather than the possibility that you don’t like him enough to allow physical contact.

-> He adores the gifts you get him - and his reactions are always the best! He gets so excited to see what you got him if you’re teasing the fact that you have something for him but that it’s a surprise. Tasty snacks and beverages are always exciting (and very much appreciated when you bring him something after he’s done with practice!), little knick-knacks are proudly displayed, more heartfelt gifts tucked away safely so he can look at them intermittently, his heart warming because each gift is a sign of your love for him. He likes to reciprocate the gifts when he can, though he often feels a bit clueless about what to get you - sure, he knows what you like, but what if you’re not in the mood for your favorite dessert, or what if you already have an overstock of paints? But, as he graduates and decides to travel instead of continuing professionally with volleyball, he gets really good at gifting you with thoughtful, endearing souvenirs (regardless if you’re on that particular trip with him or not).

-> Daichi is mature, level-headed, and happy to be your rock, providing support whenever you might need it (and even when you don’t). It would be a calm, steady relationship, the type that blooms slowly and makes you feel warm and loved from head to toe. The type of relationship that feels like coming home, a deep sense of comfort settling in your chest. He’s great at listening and communicating, and he’d be quite the conversation partner when you want to share whatever new topics you’ve been learning about. He’s got a good head on his shoulders and is skilled at looking at things from multiple perspectives, and he finds it to be quite the fun exercise to go back and forth with you about nuanced, difficult topics. Daichi is also a very good choice for someone who might struggle with anxiety and overthinking - he’s very good at providing comfort, knowing just what to say to soothe some of your worries while acknowledging that you can’t always help how your brain never quite shuts off. Stable as he is, however, your relationship with him would lack the dynamism and potential for growth that would be present with Nishinoya. It’s simply a different vibe, a different pace, but still just as enjoyable.

Omg Yuji! What a little cutie, I kind of expected this one so I could see why you'd choose him for my match :> I love it when someone can carry a conversation when I'm feeling shy and when people get all animated while they talk, that part was so cute!

And the movie dates! -> Yuji is pleasant and easygoing, making it easy to talk to him and open up at your own pace. Although even he acknowledges that he can be a bit dense and dumb sometimes, he is surprisingly astute and intuitive when it comes to others. So, even though you initially come off as awkward and shy, Yuji takes it in stride. Even if he’s more the social type himself, he’s very well aware that not everyone takes to strangers very well. If you find it difficult to initiate the first few conversations with him, he has no qualms kicking it off himself. He doesn’t press you too hard to continue chatting if you’re not comfortable; he has plenty he can yap about. And yet, it probably doesn’t take you long to settle into a comfortable rhythm with his conversations. Yes, he can talk a lot - and sometimes he gets very animated - but he leaves plenty of room for you to chime in.

-> He loves to hear about your current interests or whatever topic you’ve recently delved into. Does he understand everything you’re trying to explain? Probably not, especially considering there are many topics where he doesn’t have the same background knowledge as you before you start discussing the topic, but he’s all ears regardless! He can actually keep up pretty well if you happen to be the type to switch between topics and ideas quickly, though, even if he doesn’t have all the information. However, he often performs acts of service, wanting your day to run a little bit smoother. Yuji is your man if you have any errands that need to be run, if something isn’t working quite right in your place, or if you’re simply too exhausted to cook dinner that night. Careful, though; he is absolutely the type to run himself into the ground for someone he loves. Empathetic and observant as you are, you’re very firm on the fact that he doesn’t need to drop everything just to help you out, that he needs to take care of himself, too.

-> Yuji is very mentally resilient, and he naturally becomes your rock in times of stress. Again, if he has the ability to support you in any way, he will - and in cases like this… let him provide you with some comfort. He doesn’t think any less of you because of your anxiety and tendency to overthink. All that being said, though… During the times where grief and despair are ready to swallow him up because the life of a jujutsu sorcerer is cruel and difficult for anyone with a heart, he appreciates the comfort and reassurance you provide him more than you know. And really, how could he not be comforted by someone like you? You’re kind, empathetic, more than happy to lend an ear, not judging him for his actions, his reactions, everything he’s gone through.

-> Yuji is your knight in shining armor when it comes to bugs! They really don’t bother him in the slightest, and he has no issues handling them with his bare hands (though the mere idea has your skin crawling). He is more the type to simply toss them outside rather than outright kill them, though, and while he doesn’t outright say anything, he hopes whatever critter he tossed out doesn’t end up making it’s way back inside… Sometimes, he will try to reason with you (“they’re just bugs - most of them are harmless!” or “that spider’s just hanging out on his web up in the corner, he’s not bothering anyone”) but thankfully he has enough sense not to approach you with a bug in his hand. He did that once and he’s never forgotten the glare you sent his way at that time.

-> He treasures each and every single gift you get him. Yuji loves having little mementos, physical reminders of you, of your affection for him, of all the little moments you’ve shared together. He never really considered himself someone who cared too terribly much about material items, feeling that the experience and memories themselves were more important, but he would never willingly part with anything you’ve given him. When you gift him with something, he gets this lovesick smile on his face and can’t help but squeeze you tightly to him, thanking you. But if you get him something that he knows is spendy, he’ll scold you just a little. He loves the gift, of course, but you don’t need to spend so much on him! In return for your gifts, he will try and find an item for you to add to one of your many collections - he knows your little collections hold a lot of sentimental value and fill your days with joy, so he feels it’s quite a fitting way to reciprocate, considering he is now growing a collection of your presents for him.

-> Gojo has the potential to be an absolutely amazing partner - confident, bold, and affectionate, the type that would spoil and smother his partner with love if they let him. He’s at once ambitious while also remaining levelheaded enough to understand what’s realistically possible. Gojo knows how to have fun and enjoys being a bit silly and dramatic; he’d absolutely be a fun partner to have around, making sure every day was fun and exciting. Still, he may be a bit too emotionally unavailable at times, the weight of sorcerer society too heavy on his shoulders. No one can truly step into his shoes and really understand the pressure and expectations placed on him since he was a child. There are times where he may feel like he shouldn’t drag a partner into his world to stand by his side, and times where he’s simply just too busy. Tetsuro Kuroo!

Reasoning:

I know I also matched you with him for your appearance match-up, and I promise I’m not just recycling that again or saying this because you mentioned he’s your fav lol :) I treated both of these match-ups separately and tried to be unbiased, and while a few other characters did come to mind, in the end I just found that you seemed like you’d fit very well personality-wise with Kuroo as well :> I think he’d find you super cool and fun to be around, and you guys have very similar vibes to me so I think you’d work well as a couple!

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- To start off, Kuroo wouldn’t mind your tendency to be more blunt or the times when you unintentionally get a bit loud at all! He also has a tendency to be speaking way louder than he realizes lol so I feel like the two of you are kind of a match made in heaven in that aspect lol. And as for your bluntness, he actually really admires how you don’t shy away from speaking your mind. He knows you’re not a mean person and aren't rude for no reason, so he really respects that you’re willing to put your foot down in situations where you’re upset or being treated wrongly, and he fully supports you in those instances

- I think he’d also really love going on night drives with you. Sometimes he’ll rant about something from practice or ask you for advice on something related to the team (and he actually takes your advice into consideration and appreciates it very much), but other times the two of you get set off by some random thought or topic and end up rambling on for hours and hours, barely even noticing the passage of time as you drive through the night and enjoy your time together

- He knows all about your weakness for iced coffee, so when he knows you have somewhere to be in the mornings (whether that’s work or school or anything else) he often likes to pick you up and drive you there himself, with an iced coffee waiting for you in the cupholder made just to your liking <3 He does tease you for the amount of sugar you like in it just like your friends, but it’s loving and lighthearted and never meant to hurt your feelings. - Kuroo’s also the kind of person who likes to look good and put together whenever he goes out, he likes giving off a good impression and he actually really appreciates the motto “look good, feel good” and tries to follow it the same way you do. He really enjoys coordinating outfits with you, too, he loves making people stare at the two of you as you walk by and he feels a rush of pride when people compliment how good the two of you look together

- And while Kuroo likes to think he’s not all that interested in TV shows and dramas in particular, and likes to tease you for getting sucked in so easily to the sometimes over-the-top plots, whenever you turn one on while you’re at his place it doesn’t take long for him to join you on the couch and be complaining at the characters’ decisions or getting emotional when a sweet scene happens <3 He gets sucked in so easily lol but he likes to pretend he doesn’t, though he always wants to chat and rant with you about your shows after the fact

- And he’s not like, a huge music guy or anything but he, like most people, also enjoys listening to music in his free time. And he knows how much you enjoy music and how often you’re listening to it throughout your day, so whenever he has to be apart from you for a while, he likes to make you a new playlist of some of his favorite songs to listen to while he’s gone :> He hopes it gives you something to listen to as you go through your day and maybe makes you feel connected to him in some way when he can't be there, and/or gives you an excuse to message him, even if it’s just to tell him how much you like a particular song of his hehe

- And idk I feel like Kuroo would DEFINITELY be a car guy, he loves watching Formula 1 with you when you both have the time and can easily talk cars/motorcycles with you for hours. Fantasizing about dream cars to each other is a common conversation topic between you two lol, and he loves seeing how into it you get and is really happy that he can share this passion with you :> (As well as volleyball of course)

- Bonus: I know I mentioned your hair in your appearance match-up so I didn’t wanna use it as a cop-out for one of the headcanons, but he seriously LOVES your hair. He loves how thick and curly it is, and even when it’s messy and it’s frustrating you, he just smiles and tells you how great he thinks it looks because he’s actually obsessed with it. I also really considered Atsumu for your match-up before I ended up fully settling on Kuroo. Idk, I feel like he could get into a lot of the same stuff you’re into similarly to Kuroo, and he also has a lot of similar traits to you and I think you two could get along well together. I just felt like overall, you and Kuroo would be more compatible which is why I chose him, but Atsumu was definitely a pretty close 2nd.

when iwaizumi hajime sees you, his first thought is no thought because all the thoughts leave his head the second that you walk through the door.

when he sees you — bathed in sunshine and looking straight out a picture book, he isn’t sure what to say. you look to him almost curiously, and everything in his body says that you’re a mystery that he wants to figure out.

that’s why when you end up in his first class of the school year at university, he thinks it’s fate when you slide into the seat next to him.

your professor is fast, yapping at the speed of light and you’re diligent, but something has you looking to him for guidance.

“do you have the rest of these notes?” you ask him sweetly, and he’d lean into the saccharine tone of your voice.

AAAA I'm so so excited to see all of these match-ups! First of all thank you for being so kind, you seem really cool too from getting to know you during this exchange and I'd absolutely love to do more in the future as well :D

I was totally shocked to be matched with Toji, I didn't expect it at all so it was super interesting to me that he was the one I was paired with hehe! And I really liked the idea of having a big scary protective partner, plus the thought of being cuddled even while he teases me or getting to sit in his lap while playing video games really gave me butterflies <3 That's exactly the kind of cuddly fun vibes I want in a partner honestly so I especially liked that part :D

Obanai I wasn't super surprised by, I can totally see how I would be matched with him and understood your reasoning for that one! The thought of being a part of Mitsuri and Obanai's relationship and being with both of them honestly sounds like a dream lol I loved that <3 He definitely seems like the kind of person who I'd be able to share deeper conversations with like you mentioned and to open up to him as well given his personality. After reading your matchup information he seemed like the perfect person I can give you, he’s able to be there for you and he doesn’t really seem to act better then anyone either. He understands how bad your anxiety is and is very patient with you, he always reassures you and gets you small things that he thinks that will make you feel a bit better.

When he first met you he thought you were the most beautiful person he’s ever laid his eyes on, and yet you are. he compliments you on your appearance a LOT, in a very good way of course.
