Headmistress: Good morning students, let us not forget, next week is the annual Winter mixer, if your parents are to be in attendance, be sure to advise them to contact Mrs. Brandice for the purchasing of their tickets.

Lily: I can’t believe you did that Bell!

Bella: believe it sweetie! I told her if she wants to work in this city, she’d better play by my rules!

Lily: you're so bad! *laugh*

Octavia: hey bell any news on that place for the party.

Bella: Oh, my Gawd! Don’t get me started…. the guy was being so weird …. so much was like going on …. but it doesn’t matter, my aunt says she’s going to reached out to one of her friends who owns this sexy loft in the Spice market.

Lily: The Spice Market!

Octavia: if we have this party in the spice market no one will be able to top us ..

Lily: we’ll be legendary!

Octavia: yesssss, when should your aunt hear back from this friend of hers.

Bella: I’m not sure, but I’ll let you girls know

Lily: this is going to be epic

Bella: ladies we are surely on our way!

Bella: are you serious? Well, is she like broke?

Lily: my g-ma says Her Grandmother is like still rich and connected, but she doesn’t think that’ll last ….

Octavia: damn lil, what doesn’t your g-ma know?

Lily: my g-ma has a lot of time on her hands…

Bella: what is she talking about? and what’s Smuggs?

Nancy: nothing major! Smuggs is short for Smuggsworth the boarding school I was at … this girl right here belongs to the family that owns the school, she is like almost a princess.

Bella: a princess! Lil What is she talking about ….

Bella: mmmm hmmm…. Anyways, So Nancy! You say you were at boarding school?

Nancy: yea but I use to go here a longtime ago... I see it’s all still the same nothing has changed

Lily: bell we don’t even have a spot locked down yet

Octavia: well, bella Lily is right, how do we even know if your aunt’s friend is going come through with the spice marketplace …I don’t think we should even do this party to be honest …

Octavia: where’s your grandma?

Nancy: she’s away in tartosa for business and she won’t be back for about a month or two…

Octavia: are you sure nance? Because I know your grandmother …

Bella: tavia you heard the girl it’s fine … ladies we are back in business … so Nancy, do you think we can see the place today…

Nancy: yea! Here’s my number y’all can call me when you’re ready

Bella: perfect… lily take her number?

Lily: uh huh … got it

Bella: Nancy, with you doing this will go a long way with me...

Ms. Brandice: miss Landgraab, your car is here

Nancy: ok... well, I guess I’ll talk to you all later?

Octavia: ok nance, we’ll call you

Butler Nigel: ahhh Good Evening young miss Landgraab. How are you today?

Nancy: Hiii Nigel, I’m well, just a little tired from the fly-in yesterday … but overall I’m doing great...

Butler Nigel: it’s wonderful to know the young miss is doing well ...

Nancy: is my grandmother here?

Butler Nigel: yes! .... I’ll go fetch her for you ...

Madame Landgraab: there will be No need Nigel... I’m here ...

Butler Nigel: ahhh Madame!

Madame Landgraab: Nigel You may return to your chores ...

Nancy: ooooh Grams... I’ve missed you soooo much.

Nancy: for the most part I have, however, the bulk of my belongings, hasn’t arrived from brindleton

Nancy: but no need to worry! Mom was able to reach out to the school, and they’ve confirmed my things should be here by the end of the week.

Madame Landgraab: oh that’s wonderful!

Nancy: I know right! Mom outdid herself! .... but it looks like you’ve settled in as well...

Madame Landgraab: oh don’t get me started, it is so dreary here! I keep forgetting as to why we kept this property... you know this place is not me at all and nothing like the champs apartment! You know I had to call the decorator, and demand they’d be here tomorrow, PRONTO! They have to make this place habitable.

Nancy: *chuckle* oh Grams...

Madame Landgraab: come come come let’s have a seat.

Madame Landgraab: *sigh* now Nancy, I’ve called you here to discuss important matters ...

Nancy: grams if this is about me complaining about returning to San my, I’ve already talked to mom and .....

Madame Landgraab: Nancy! I have no idea what you are talking about! .... What I have to tell you has everything to do with your father and the situation our family is in...

Nancy: oh! ... I apologize!

Madame Landgraab: apology accepted, now no more interruptions ... where was I? .... ah yes, so I’m sure you are aware of the issue our family is dealing with right now!

Nancy: yes I’m aware somewhat, ... I just know there is money missing and dad had something to do with it...

Madame Landgraab: yes but not exactly... see in the last couple of months the media has been ever so nasty towards our family ... I can’t tell you many times they’ve attempted to make a mockery of everything we have done .. I’ve asked you here today, so that I may explain the truth behind your father’s actions...

Nancy: Ok grams what’s going on

Madame Landgraab: yes so we have to go back, way before your father took the helms of this company.... when your father was young his only interest was to make fast money. I can’t tell you how many times he has tried convincing your grandfather to utilize some of his newfound business tactics to generate more wealth. There was this one time he and that Worthington fella comprised a not so well thought out scheme, that consisted of him illegally accessing his trust with hopes of liquidating to start some business or something.... now! if it wasn’t for the banks notifying your grandfather and me, your father probably would have gotten away with it ... needless to say, I knew those acts were just the beginning of a downward spiral that would have ruined this family and needed to put a stop to it .... so I gave your father an ultimatum, either he gives up these reckless ways or be forever disinherited.... your father was smart and took the rather option.

Madame Landgraab: I know you love your father, as do I love my son, but he has placed this family in a very difficult position..... because he has abandoned his role as head of this company he has also abandoned the responsibilities of maintaining the well being of its employees.... therefore I have spoken with the companies lawyers, and they’ve given me an option as to how we can rectify the issue. Per the companies by-laws, because of your father’s absence, the board must execute an immediate election for a new CEO ... In which brings us to the purpose for this meeting…. As of tomorrow, Nancy you will be inheriting a large amount of LGI shares …. These are the shares you would have been given upon the death of your father!

Nancy: WHAT! Grams …. I’m not understanding!

Madame Landgraab: Be calm my dear, gruesome it may sound, this had to be done! … you see since the companies assets were frozen due to your fathers “activities”… per the lawyers, they believed it would be ideal to use your father's lengthy disappearance as an opportunity to execute his will in which would allow us to regain control of the company… whilst this is happening I will be using my connections to keep looking for your father, you see my dear no need to worry.

Madame Landgraab: now! all that I’m going to need from you darling is your vote to make me the next CEO ….

Nancy: grams, if doing that will give me my life back then so be it .. yes you have my vote!

Madame Landgraab: Wonderful!

Butler Nigel: Madame! You have a phone call!

Madame Landgraab: Nancy we’ll continue our conversation tonight at dinner.

Nancy: yes grams, I’ll see you tonight.

*door closes*

Madame Landgraab: Nigel who is calling?

Before the opulent wealth, famed dalliances, and diva tirades, there was the meek Vivian McCoy, a quiet, conservative girl, who wanted nothing more than to follow in the educational footsteps of her father, Gerald McCoy. 

But this would all soon change due to his untimely death. A distraught Vivian would be taken and raised by the woman who would shape her destiny, her mother, Octavia McCoy. Vivian's mother was not like other parents. Given the fact she was absent during most of her upbringing, Octavia, whilst oozing opportunistic values by traveling the world in search of a thrill, fell into her new role as a parent for life. Because of this, Vivian learned that in life there was more than Willow Creek. 

The odd pair they were, Vivian would try to please her mother by being more avant-garde, eagerly trying to break free of her conservative ways. Sometimes she would make progress, and other times she would fail. Her enrollment in Horton Academy paved the way for the Vivian McCoy we know today. Thanks to a well-funded contribution from one of Octavia's wealthy benefactors, "the flames," Viv was able to indulge in the life she could only dream of having.

While enrolled at Horton Academy, Viv not only joined an all-female musical trio but also met her first love, Bradley Lewis, the handsome son of San Myshuno Music executive Elliot Lewis. From this relationship, she would be married and give birth to a son, Eric Lewis. Once she had graduated high school, Viv split her time between being the lead singer of The Sul Suls and her newly formed family. Of course, fate has a way of doing things, and for Viv, fate knew singing to the masses was her calling.

After rising through the ranks of the music industry via her powerful voice and father-in-law's connections, Viv's relationship with Bradley sank into disrepair. This led to one of San Mushuno's messiest divorces, per a precarious prenup that won her 250 million simoleans, a home in San Myshuno, and a collection of art and jewelry totaling 12 million simoleans. Although there was a setback in the love department, her career showed otherwise.

Vivian started to make a name for herself, which thrust her into a solo career; she was soon given the title "Queen of R&B," and oh, how she wore that title. This brought many new suitors into her life, but no one was like John Moon, who would be her next husband and the father to her second child... John Moon is the son of one of San Myshuno's influential evangelical families, the Moons. His father is the apostolic Bishop John Moon II. The family leads the most popular and largest evangelical ministries in San Myshuno, called Greater Faith. During her marriage to John, Viv took a step back from the secular world; this was at the request of her new in-laws. She reveres the status the family holds in the evangelical community and seeks nothing but to honor it.

As the years went by, Viv saw herself reverting to her old conservative ways; she never thought this would be a problem, but it was. This would lead to her second divorce and a drawn-out battle to free her and her children from what she called "That Controlling Family!" Legally, she gained full custody of her daughter Octavia Moon, as well as 150 million Simoleans due to a fulfilled prenuptial agreement. After two failed marriages, Viv came to realize her purpose in this world, and with haste, she returned to the music industry at full force. She promised herself she would never forget her true calling, though she was blinded by the follies of love. With this "new found lease on life," as she would say, she continues to translate the pleasures of sound to the masses.

Vivian: oh Mitzi! Love, I’m so excited for this next album .... you know, this break was long overdue .. it was needed!

Mitzi Bailey: Viv I can’t explain how excited I am too ... now I was thinking is it possible you can go into the studio today?

Vivian: Mitz I have nothing but time ... sure! what time should I be there?

Mitzi Bailey: Oh great! well, I was thinking maybe in the next 2 hours ... granted I am aware of the snowfall! it’s really heavy today, so take all the time you need to get there!

Vivian: Alright Mitz I’ll see you soon!

Mitzi Bailey: ok Viv! Ciao!

*Phone hangs up*

Vivian: ((shouts)) SANDRA! CALL ME A CAR, I’M HEADING TO THE STUDIO!

Vivian: ahhhhh I believe this album is going to be my best one ever!

Landgraab Series Chapter 6

Marla: mum... you have a letter!

Queenie: Thank you, Marla! Oh and Marla, please be sure that Nancy’s room is ready for her arrival!

Marla: yes mum, ... *pause* Oh mum! Her ladyships offices have forwarded this month's allowance and well .... it’s far less than what was expected ... they’re even suggesting we budgeted next month's allowance to be fewer than this months...... Excuse my speaking out of turn but I must say, This is unacceptable, with a continuing decrease in these funds ... our staff will have to decrease as well! and...

Queenie: um..... Marla... Sorry to interrupt...

Marla: yes mum?

Queenie: where did this letter come from?

Marla: LGI! it was delivered by a messenger just this morning ... is there something wrong?

Queenie: well If I’m reading this correctly, it seems to be that The company's lawyers are requesting to invoke Chester's will.... in a way they believe doing this will move the federal prosecutors to drop all charges against LGI and release all assets ... *deep breath* it sounds too good to be true ... there is no doubt doing this will resolve any financial obligations for everyone who has been affected by the turn of events.

Marla: oh! Well, mum yes that’s true .... but wouldn’t they need a death certificate to do such an action?

Queenie: of course, yes ... in fact! the lawyers have already requested Chester's disappearance to be closed and ruled as “deceased”. In all actuality Marla I’m not comfortable with any of this, they’re asking me to jump on board with their plan ... how am I suppose to explain this to Nancy? It’s her father we’re talking about!

Marla: I completely understand mum, decisions like these are not always easy. I believe you should..... *Door opens*

Butler: Right this way miss .. and welcome home!

Nancy: Thank you!

Queenie: NANCY! Darling, you’re home!

Nancy: mommy!

Queenie: oh how I’ve missed you ... come my sweet darling!

Queenie: we weren’t expecting you until tomorrow morning...

Nancy: yes well my flight was rerouted for an earlier arrival, I wanted to tell you but I figured surprising you would be better

Queenie: *laughs* oh my sweet girl! I’ve missed you soooo much!

Queenie: you must be tired?

Nancy: no not really, I got plenty of rest on the plane ... but mommy, please tell me that will be the last time I will ever have to fly commercial... the experience was soooooo aggravating!

Queenie: oh darling it wasn’t that bad!

Nancy: yes it was ... during the entire flight I sat behind this horrid man who complained during the entire trip. First, he wasn’t satisfied with the food then he wasn’t satisfied with the pillows, he complained so much .... please mommy, how long will I have to succumb to the perils of an upper-middle-class citizen!

Queenie: *laugh* oh Nancy don't be so dramatic, however, I’m not sure ... but I have you know I’m working hard to make a comfortable life for us here in SanMy...

Nancy: any news about daddy? It is his fault we’re in this situation...

Queenie: well nothing new, since when we last spoke. But I did speak to your aunt Vivian and she and Octavia are super excited for you to be back ...

Nancy: woopee *eye roll*

Queenie: Now Nancy!

Nancy: mommy! You know how much I hate it here ... I don’t want to go back to that school ... I want to go back to my old life, why can’t I go back to windenburg? Doesn't grandmother have a home there? I'm sure there are schools there as well!

Queenie: Nancy we’ve talked about this, with all that is happening now, your grandmother saw that it would be of extreme importance for the entire family to be here in SanMy... Remember it's for our safety!

Nancy: *sigh* I know

Queenie: now speaking of your grandmother she is expecting you soon as you are settled ... When you go and see her you need to be on your best behavior and show some gratitude!

Nancy: yes mommy!

Hostess: Good Evening Mrs Landgraab, will it be your usual table?

Queenie: No darling, I’m actually here to meet Ms Lewis ....

Hostess: ah yes! Right this way!

Queenie: Viv!

Vivian: ahhhh Queenie, It’s been so long!

Queenie: yes it has, how are Eric and Octavia?

Vivian: yeah they are just fine, you know Eric is away at university and my little Tavia is in her last year at Horton, but I’m not sure if she’s going to university too ... she has wild dreams of becoming a song writer....

Queenie: well viv the girl has a talent, if you ask me I would let her go for it ... remember the song she wrote for you to sing at Nancy’s sweet 16, it was just beautiful simply beautiful..

Vivian: I agree, but I just want the best for my children you know! Give them what I didn’t have when I was growing up...

Queenie: I completely understand...

Vivian: but How’s Nancy, I hear she’s moving back

Queenie: yes and sadly not by choice, but ummm she’s doing well, I’m just more so concerned about her readjusting to life in San My

Vivian: ahhhh mmm hmm, I agree, all of this is really too much on that poor girl ..

Queenie: yeah *sigh*, but what is this that you have to tell me about Chester?

Vivian: oh yes! Do you remember Agnes Crumplebottom?

Vivian: well a couple of days before that Worthington party, my realtor and I were looking at a unit in her building and you wouldn’t guess who I saw lurking.

Vivian: Chester! ... I said to myself what is he doing here, I gotta let queenie know about this... but what shocked me even more was the kiss they shared ... what is going on Queen?

Queenie: Viv, .... me and Chester are divorcing and it’s for certain this time!

Vivian: oh my so the rumors were right! I’m so sorry ....

Queenie: it’s fine, it’s fine, you know what, I’m glad it’s happening because i am tired of being embarrassed by that man and his family!

Vivian: that’s right! so does this mean you’ll be living in SanMy for good?

Queenie: for the most part yes, just until this issue with LGI blows over ... his mother asked for the family to relocate here for the time being ...

Vivian: oh wow the whole Landgraab clan, back in SanMy ... this should be very interesting!

Queenie: I know!

Vivian: so how bout this love, since I’m a little pressed for time, let’s reschedule ....

Nancy: Kat! I don’t even know Whats going on? All this stuff coming out about my dad and me having to go back home, it’s like I’m living in the twilight zone!

Katrina: I know!... It’s so strange! ... did your grandmother tell you how long you would have to be home?

Nancy: no not really, she said she wishes it could be temporary, but since my dad is missing, no one knows....

Katrina: Oh nan, sweetie .....

Nancy: yea *sigh*... I know!

Katrina: oh wait! what about Erik? Did you tell him what was happening?

Nancy: well .... last night we broke up!

Katrina: What!!!!!! Are you ok?

Nancy: yea... I am, for the most part, *sigh* Kat the love was gone!... I could never continue in something and know that my heart wasn't in it, so we both decided to just be friends...

Katrina: ..... Oh nan! .. this is really a lot and I mean a lot!!!!!

Nancy: yea! ... It is...

Katrina: ugh if you weren't leaving we could have just binged on some pizza and forgot bout our troubles... I’m really going to miss you ... things are not going to be the same around here without you!

Nancy: I’m going to miss you too kat! ...... Hey how bout you come visit me on your summer break? It’ll be soooo much fun, I can show you all my favorite places ... we can live it up like real San-My socialites ....

Katrina: that’s sounds amazing... I’m game!!!

So this years MET Gala theme,

“About Time: Fashion and Duration” sent the San-My glitterati into a creative frenzy....

And When we caught up with the former Mrs Landgraab this is what she had to say about her look!

QL: “Well I wanted to do something very campy.... once I did my hair in the shape of a frilly bow everything else fell into place ... I guess you can say I’m a Victorian vixen *laugh* Yea! That’s what we will call it!”

SulSul Magazine: “we heard there’s a Best Dressed Award Contest!, could you see your self winning?

QL: “ that would be wonderful wouldn’t it *laugh* ... I mean there are a lot of beautiful looks here and hey I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!”

QL: *sighs* “oh Chester!”

Sean The Driver: ”Are you happy to be home, Ma’am?”

QL: “oh yes sean, *pause and sigh* I am”

Sean the Driver: “that's good, you know I’ve been telling the Mrs we too should take a little vacation, it's nothing like going away to come back rejuvenated”

QL: ” I agree completely Sean, you both deserve to relax, and trust me it's the best feeling in the world!”

Sean the Driver: ”ahhhhhh thank you ma’am... so when will Mr. Landgraab return?”

QL: ”ummm Sean mr. Landgraab didn't go with me to sulani... Are you telling me he’s not here?”

Sean the Driver: ”I'm not sure ma’am, I haven't driven for Mr. landgraab since before the Worthington Benefit, I assumed he was with you! I hope everything is ok with sir!”

QL: ”I'm sure Mr. Landgraab is fine wherever he is”

Sean the Driver: “well I’m happy to see you home ma’am!”

QL: “Thank you, Im happy to be home Sean ... ”

QL: ”Chester where are you?”

Marla: ”Welcome home mum! How was your holiday?”

QL: ”short marla, Very short! ...”

Marla: ”well mum you look marvelous! The sulani weather has done you some good!”

QL: ”oh thank you marla.... so I take it that you have updated by Madame Landgraab’s office?

Marla: ”yes!, I have, so the young miss Nancy is expected in San Myshuno the day after tomorrow. Also as instructed by Madame Landgraab, I've enrolled the young miss into Horton Prep, shes expected to report to class in 3 days”

QL: ”Perfect! ...”

Marla: “also, as another request by Madame, I organized the closing of the Willow Creek house, she advised, you will now be stationed in San Myshuno till further notice.”

QL: “Wow, I guess she really has everything under control!.... oh and Marla have you by any chance heard anything from ...”

Marla: “.... Mr. Landgraab? No mum I haven’t heard anything since the night you left for sulani! Once I’d executed your request, he was very cooperative. And not to speak out of turn, Madame Landgraab asked the same question, I have you know, my lips were sealed!”

QL: ”oh! Yes, I forgot all about that! And foolish of me requesting you to handle something so personal, I apologize marla!”

Marla: ”mum, it is no problem! Just know mr. Landgraab had left in a calming manner”

*both chuckled*

Marla: “also mum, your attorney has forwarded the final drafts of your divorce!”

QL: “Ok! I will look over those in the morning...”

Marla: “uh-huh, also mum your RSVP for the @voguesims4 MET Gala tomorrow is pending, should I....”

QL: “Yes! Please confirm! I need a little excitement since my vacation was cut short, I wasn’t planning on going, but now since I’m here, I guess I’ll get a jumpstart on my reascension to the SanMy social scene”

Marla: “oh! Ok well I will forward your confirmation of attendance immediately .. should I schedule a emergency dress fitting?”

QL: “Actually Marla, I thought I would wear one of the custom pieces I've gotten from @sentate , or maybe @rusty-cc either or what ever I decide you may just need to have it pressed and staged for a look through in the morning“

Marla: ”certainly mum! I will see to that...”

QL: “Thank you marla!, So is there anything else? .... I really will like to get to bed now I’m exhausted...”

Marla: “no mum! ... that is all! ... you have a blissful night!”

QL: “awwww Thank you marla! You too!”

Housekeeper: ”Mrs. landgraab, you have an urgent call from the offices of Madame Landgraab, would you like the cordless?”

QL: ”yes!”

QL: ” Queenie speaking!”

QL: ”Oh Carolina darling how are you?... That's wonderful dear, so in what way may I be of any assistance to my lovely mother-in-law?....”

QL: ”uh-huh!... Well, that's going be a problem love, I haven't seen my husband since the Worthington benefit, I thought he would be there in Champs!... Tell me, how important is it for you to get in contact with Chester?....”

QL: ”uh-huh!..... Oh, I see...”

QL: ”oh! He didn't mention anything like that to me... And What is it am I suppose to do again?...”

QL: ”Uh-huh!... understood, *sigh* I’ll start arranging for my return to San Myshuno immediately, have you reached out to Nancy?... good! Well Thank you, Carolina, ... Goodbye!”
