I was looking for a new Grim Reaper default the other day, & while there are so many amazing defaults already, there wasn't one with all the details I wanted.

So I took the top of Amaryll's TS3 Conversion, & replaced the bottom half with the skirt & belt from @vampirekiss6661's TSM Conversion. I also took the hands from Sentate's Bonehilda, & tweaked the sleeves a little, to have a more draped silhouette. While I've done my best, but I'll admit the join isn't perfect, however I didn't find it distracting during testing.

For fun I also made a version with the Maxis Lei, it functions the same as it did on the original, so it should work with slig's flower default if you use it.

Just some highlights from my latest work on Strangetown.

This is something @itsdiamondeyesuniverse shared with me before going on hiatus, and since I have now made an addition to the set I wanted to share with you all. First it's TF and EF conversions of @mdpthatsme 4t2 Socks Knee High. Repositoried to AF so MDP's files are required. All packages repositoried to one undies texture. This is all by Diamond Eyes and meshes have all morphs.

Second is Saruin Kitty Paws for TF-EF, also by Diamond Eyes. They come in 4 colours, other ages repositoried to AF and all packages repositoried to one undies texture (same than above). Meshes by MDP and Diamond Eyes are included but are also the same from Socks Knee High.

Finally, I found these Cat Socks, also by @saruin, and I had to copy-paste them as well! There are 6 colours with different undies (textures from 3t2 lacy underwear by @rented-space). For TF-EF, other ages repositoried to AF. Meshes by MDP and Diamond Eyes are included again (but obvs you only need them once!).

The socks from all three sets are categorized as everyday, underwear and sleepwear. Friendly reminder that you can use Pick'N'Mix BSOK Editor to change clothing categories in bulk.

This is my response to this post by @goatskickin - a second version. That's the best way to desaturate hair texture or other stuff with alpha transparency ( thanks @paluding).

Desaturate or Hue/Saturation often makes textures crunchy.

You'll get best results if you create plain black layer and set blend mode to Color. Adjust Opacity as needed. In case of alpha stuff you also need to create Clipping mask.

When doing color actions on hair textures (or anything else) - if Hue/Saturation adjustment layer step does -83 Saturation (for example), instead you can do what I described above and set black layer Opacity to 83%.

Also, use SimPE to build textures as DXT5, do not rely on Bodyshop 'cuz it will always f*ck it up.

Mid-Century Burst | CC-Free

A tricky little shell challenge that you can get some use out of too! Tried to dig into some 70s inspo for the exterior on this one. This is 2 bed, 1 bath, fully-furnished and CC-free. Because of the limited size of the main shell, I added a detached garage with an apartment on top, which adds +1 studio bedroom and +1 bathroom.

The TS4 shell challenge I used for this lot was called "BubbleShell3" on the gallery from the ID "bubblesisgaming". I'm also playing around with using random palette generators for room inspo, this time from ColorHunt. It's been fun and I recommend using it to get out of your comfort zone!
