your    wrists    jerks    against    the    restraints    as    you    try    to    force    yourself    up.    the   doctor   quickly   pushes   you   down,    tells   you   not   to   ruin   yourself   so   soon   after   being   awoken    -------    so   you   stop   to   glare   at   the   two.

               “        hhh   . . .   hurt.        ”        finally   you   force   a   word   out,    sounding   out   each   syllable   careful,    flinching   at   the   movement.    you   swallow   thickly,   noticing   that   your   mouth   was   dry    &&.    your   throat   still   ached.     why    were    you    here   ?    you   wonder,    &&.    soon   you   find   yourself   lulled   to   sleep   as   the   doctor   injects   something   into   your   shoulder.

a formal composure regains itself within him upon hearing his title , and it was fascinating how despite it all , his once proclaimed ‘ soldiers ’ still pledged their loyalty and aid to him . it made him wonder if , by any slim chance there was , that they knew about his underlying intentions the moment he created a facade in the face of the new ‘ king . ’ he wondered if they had known him that well at all . but no one does and no one will , not until he’s planned this right and with every scenario considered. the man even dwells on the idea of telling etsu about it , yet … there’s the scenario she’d either turn or be put in danger far too early on in the act .

a simple ❝ thank you ❞ is offered with a smile that told no worries . his tone , however , knew no balance and wavered .

❝ i would like to ask you a question . i need only an answer from you , and it must be in complete honest regardless of how you feel it may affect me . ❞ there’s a pause , a flicker of film playing at the back of his mind . anything that affected him only caused him to bottle his emotions up or to … eliminate the cause . he’ll refrain for now ; this was only a question to test the waters .

HEADCANON + Family

ETSUS    FAMILY    WAS    CRUEL.    her   mother   and   father   had   her   through   a   quirk   marriage,    gaining   the   idea   that   they   should   further   quirks   by   specifically   creating   stronger   powers   for   selfish   reasons.   they   waited   until   she   was   sixteen   years   old   to   begin   “ training “   her   to   become   a   good   housewife,   though   this   is   never   put   to   use,   as   when   she’s   nineteen   etsu   kills   her   fiance   in   an   act   of   self   defence.    her   family   disowns   her   for   this.    she’s   thrown   onto   the   streets   and   she   pretty   much   says,   well,   at   least   i   have   more   time   to   do   vigilante   justice,   and   that’s   exactly   what   she   does.

the   organization   that   etsu   created   to   aid   those   with   troubling   quirks   is   handed   over   to   her   ex’s   family   and   her   parents   start   over   by   having   another   kid   :   hikaru   nakamura.    hikaru   can   possess   trinkets   and   see   through   their   eyes   for   a   small   amount   of   time.    when   hikaru   is   older,   she   has   three   kids,   after   being   married   off   into   the   family   etsu   was   going   to   marry   into.    her   kids   names   are   hachiro,   kaori,   and   maiko.    hachiro   is   killed   by   all   for   one   at   eight   years   old   due   to   how   alike   his   quirk   is   to   etsus.

in   the   current   manga   time,   there’s   a   few   nakamuras   left,   but   they   don’t   speak   of   her   kindly   and   have   banned   all   talk   of   her.    the   youngest   is   the   anno   corporation   heir,   a   2-A   student   azami   anno.
