Spent the past few days reflecting on what leaving Cairns would mean to me and came to the realisation that it was a hard one. What was supposed to be a 10 days stay to kick off my journey through the East Coast back in February became a seven months stay in this city that was a complete discovery for me. I had so many amazing experiences and encounters that it just fills my heart with happiness. I am forever grateful for everything that happened to me during this stay, bad and good, for every person I met, from pure acquaintances to long-life friends. Because all those things taught me so much more than any book or class, it made me question myself and my beliefs so many times over the past few months, I'm definitely a different person from what I was when I left France, even from when I arrived in Cairns months ago. As cheesy as it sounds this stay really made a difference on my life and influenced it in the best way possible, it made me realise that, for once, everything I did was out of love and not out of fear. But most of all, it made me realise that I was brave. And now I have to be brave again and leave this city I called home to go back on the road and start all over again. So thank you to every person that made my stay here incredible, you are all beautiful people and I wish you all the best for your next adventures 💫💛 (at Cape Tribulation)
