After I made the sketch for this I looked through my sideblog for garashir things I’d reblogged. I came across this scene at least twice - as in Garak ranting about something over coffee or lunch, and Bashir either looking at him lovingly, or ranting right back. So it’s not all that original, but it’s just a nice image, isn’t it?

(It’s actually based on a Critical Role gifset of Travis as Fjord looking lovingly admiringly at Caduceus - spreading some wisdom no doubt.)

Yes! In one of the first episodes he mentiones that he has no gender (I mean he literally turns into a fluid every few hours) and that he has no desire for romance or sex. And every time someone talks to him about those topics he just doesn't get it and just arkwardly lets them talk! There is a whole scene where he is stuck in an elevator with a woman who is super into him and he has to explain that he isn't interested and that that just isn't for him. But NoOOo0 a few seasons later that is all erased 🙄

I mean the show is 30 years old, but COME ON!
