im an 18 year old and i use any pronouns except for they! i write as a hobby, so this whole blog is only for fun!

Finally back ay?

not quite! i havent even written anything (cookie run or not) in months. i do really miss this account, though. ive been thinking about a few things.

first, i might completely clear out my inbox and start taking only a few at a time as to not overwhelm myself. would you guys be okay with that? maybe? i still play cookie run, although ive been playing ovenbreak a lot more than kingdom. i still care about both, though.

second, i was also thinking about completely overhauling my blog theme. i might keep the whole milky way shtick, but i feel like things like my intro post could be much better.

hi everyone!

sorry for completely disappearing for nearly a month. so much has been happening- got a job, been driving, been playing video games lol. writers block has been heavily affecting me as well.

this is not me announcing the end of my hiatus, but its me letting you all know that hopefully i’ll get back to requests eventually! im still very much into cookie run, i’ve just developed many different interests over time.

maybe in the future i’ll create a new blog for other fandoms to write for! im hoping to continue posting in the future, not just cookie run.

that fated day

synopsis: after a tiring day, you and diluc decide to watch a meteor shower together

There wasn’t a single cloud in sight that night, the stars littered the vast ocean in its reflection. “Hey, do you believe in wishing upon a star?” You asked as the two of you returned to Mondstadt after taking down a few Fatui camps together in the evening. Diluc lowers his head slightly and ponders his response. His steps across the ground are soft, yet they still hold a sense of authority to them. It’s quiet. Crickets chirp in the warm summer breeze, the sky turning dark at last. Mondstadt has mostly fallen asleep by now–the city that’s filled to the brim at the brink of dawn has not a flicker of light in sight. The windmills continue to spin, as does the wind blow, and the summer dew trickles from the petals of the Cecilias.

“I’ve never thought about things like that. I suppose I don’t.” Diluc responds after a few seconds of thought. “Why the sudden question?”

Right before you set out on your adventure with Diluc, Mona happened to be at the main gate. As it turns out, she briefly informs you that there’s a meteor shower tonight. It was Mona you’re talking about, so of course you’d trust her words.

“I heard there’s a meteor shower tonight,” You explain. “It reminded me of when my parents gave me mora to toss in the fountain in exchange for a wish, I guess.” And to that statement, Diluc’s lips faintly tugged upwards. You reminisce back to when you were just a small child, when Mondstadt seemed so much more peaceful compared to now. The idea seemed rather childish now.

“Do you want to check it out?” He says, head facing the sky to look up to the stars. When he says that, your eyes light up accompanied by a bright smile.

“Well…it’s true that I haven’t seen one in a while. It wouldn’t hurt to check it out.” You say, trying not to sound overly-excited. You clutch your bag tightly, fiddling with the strap.

“We’re not too far from Cape Oath.” Diluc mentions so quickly that if you hadn’t been paying attention, you would have missed it. Nobody is out this late anyway, so it’d be a nice break from all the battling the two of you have been facing.

“Then let’s go to Cape Oath!” Suddenly, you realize the implications of the two of you going to Cape Oath—‘The Lovers’ Oath’—together.

After a few seconds, it hit you. “Ah,” You mumble under your breath. “Maybe we should just stay here to watch?” You turn back to him, desperately trying to avoid any misunderstandings and awkwardness. He looks at you and tilts his head innocently, seemingly confused as to why you’d change your mind so fast. He stares at you as you try to explain yourself without making it obvious you were a flustered mess. It doesn’t work very well, as your hands begin to fiddle with the strap of your bag once again. Your eyes dart around as words just seem to pour from your mouth, neverending.

After some more sputtering from your side, Diluc lets out a soft laugh. He clearly put two and two together in the time you tried, and failed, to explain yourself, understanding why you’d want to stay put instead.

“It’s okay,” He smiles at you and begins to walk towards Cape Oath, gesturing for you to follow. You quickly catch up to him, the grass crunching quietly beneath your feet. After several minutes of walking in silence, Diluc points out a light in the sky.

He seemed to frown, “It started already.” Diluc purses his lips, looking back at you. Though, it’s hard to tell when he’s actually frowning since his resting face always seems to be so…somber.

“Isn’t it good that it started so early?” You ask, curiously. You looked up at the sky, shards of space rock shooting down into Teyvat.

He stops in his tracks and turns to you. “You were quite excited to see this meteor shower.” He glances back to the sky, admiring it for a few seconds before looking toward Cape Oath. He seems to be lost in thought, brows somewhat furrowed and squinting toward your destination.

“We’re still seeing it, aren’t we?” You were never a believer in ‘special locations’ that much. Superstitions didn’t make sense to you. After all, is fate really real? What matters is that you live the life the way you want, right?

He stopped in his tracks, finally turning back to you. “You wanted to see it at Cape Oath, no?”

But he was right. Cape Oath was a scenic area, and it would definitely be a better view than in the middle of nowhere. Just imagine: The meteor shower filling the sky with dozens of warm tones as the color is reflected into the large body of water below the cliff as you’re surrounded by greenery.

“Well, yes. But it’s not much of a difference. Besides, you’re here with me and that’s all that matters, isn’t it?” Diluc’s eyes widen for a second and look away from you.

“We can still make it if we run.” He mutters to himself. It was just the beginning of the show, it definitely hasn’t gotten to the best part yet. As the shower continues, you grab his arm out of sheer impulse.

“Then…let’s go.” You weren’t exactly sure why you did what you did, but you did it. You dashed across the grassy plains, feeling the grass crunch beneath your feet. You felt Diluc being pulled along with you before he finally managed to balance himself again, running with you. You felt the wind brushing past your face with each step you took, covering a large distance in a short time. You felt your breath getting irregular and your throat felt dry, but you didn’t stop.

Your eyes weren’t focused on the meteor shower anymore, just on your destination—Cape Oath. You looked back at Diluc occasionally, the two of you rushing toward the cliff with no words exchanged. Perhaps it was to save some breath, or perhaps it was the fact that there were no words left that needed to be said.

Luckily, the two of you weren’t that far from the cliff. It was only a few minutes of nonstop, high-speed running. But before the two of you know it, you've arrived at the cape. Panting from all the running, you immediately fall onto your knees, your legs were provided a somewhat soft yet rough landing by the vast field. A few dandelions surrounded your being, a few crushed under your leg. The broken stems left a trail of water dripping down your lower leg down to your ankle.

Still catching your breath, you finally speak. “You were right, Cape Oath really is a good spot for this stuff.” You lean back, your palms flat on the ground. Diluc gives a quick nod before sitting down again. His breathing is quiet, but he’s definitely panting. You find it a little silly as to how he would try to hide the simple fact that he’s tired. After all, anyone would be.

“Did you make a wish?” You break the silence again, catching Diluc off guard. Your gaze is stuck to the sky, the bursts of colors before your very eyes.

“Yeah,” As you were about to ask what it was, you remember your parents saying that the wish won’t come true if you say it out loud.

“Did you?” He asks, finally turning to look at you.

“I did, but I’m not telling you.” You turn to him as well, giving him a cheeky smile.

“Of course,” He closes his eyes for a split second before they flutter open once again just to take in the view. Together, just near the edge of the cape admiring the spectacle that nature staged for Mondstadt, there’s a comfortable silence that can't be broken between your pair.

what sea fairy cookie thinks of you i honestly think depends on how far your relationship is with her. at the beginning of your relationship, sea fairy would still be a bit wary of you. she knows you would never harm her or any other cookie she loves, but if she really has to, she will be ready to begrudgingly point her sword at you. although once your relationship has developed fully, sea fairy would do anything in her power to help achieve your vision. she’s completely loyal to you, as long as your powers are used for good and not evil.

moonlight cookie is a bit similar to sea fairy, although her approach is a bit different. moonlight is the cookie who always tries to guide you onto the right path, but never outright forcing you how to act. she knows you would never hurt any cookie, but she still has her eye on you whenever she isn’t sleeping. whenever she is sleeping, she has you sleep on her lap, patting your head whilst softly whispering sweet nothings to you as the city of wizards sits below you silently.

fire spirit cookie is a bit of an odd one. he’s your biggest cheerleader for sure! you wanna change the world for the better? you got it! he’s staying right by you and cheering you on as loud as possible! you wanna take a quick nap? go for it! he’ll tuck you in nice and good and will have a snack prepared for you once you’re awake! he’s confident in you, knowing despite your motivations, you would never actually hurt an innocent cookie. in fact, he would absolutely help you! just tell him what he needs to do!

like sea fairy, wind archer cookie is wary of you at first. although it takes him a bit longer to warm up to you than it did for sea fairy. in fact, when you first met, his bow was pointed right at you. but thankfully, you were able to convince him to put his bow down and to hear you out. after that he (although very slowly) begins to warm up to you. he’s a bit wary of your “vision” of the world, but he does his best to put his trust in you. your motivations remind him of a certain dark enchantress, but he swallows his insecurities down to allow you to sit next to him peacefully.

clotted cream cookie would also react with amusement. he would sit down in front of you whilst watching you intently, his signature slightly annoying smirk present on his face. when you ask him if he wants to help, he chuckles and sits back, merely telling you he prefers to watch you do your thing. he might steal one on occasion, purposely doing it while you’re watching just to get a reaction out of you. may or may not have financier help you in his stead.

wildberry cookie is… confused, to say the least. he doesn’t understand the point to sorting your snacks before you eat them. although even then, he would never judge you for anything. every time he sees you sorting, he always offers to do it for you. though you insist you can do it yourself, he still is adamant on at least helping you. maybe it would be a bit tedious to pick apart tiny snacks, especially with his bigger hands, but he’ll manage for you.

captain caviar cookie would be uncharacteristically quiet about it. when he first spotted you sorting your gummy snacks by color, all he did was quietly watch you with a butter beer in his hand. of course he wasn’t judging you, he was just intrigued, and maybe a little impressed at the dedication you had for sorting them. he might joke about it to you, but it’s all lighthearted. once you finally finish, he might give you a nice pat on the back, and may also ask you to share.

thanks for explaining what is considered short character thoughts!! I really appreciate it :)) sooo uhmmm.. remember when one of affogato cookies disciples mentioned something about a Licorce gods/spirits or something? I don't remember which one it was- but how would the dark cacaoian cookies react to reader being that licorice sea god/spirit? And they, like, turn into stone when sun comes up? Or when they use over the maximum of their powers? Btw by dark cacaoian cookies I mean like the main ones like dark cacao, affogato..yk, right? And maybe sea fairy cookies reaction to readers relationship with them bc I feel like reader and her would be related if they were like a licorice sea god/spirit.. this isnt as short as I thought it would be- preferably seperatly, I hope this counts as a short character thought though because I'm obsessed with this concept.. Anyway, make sure to eat, sleep, and don't overwork yourself! Take care of yourself and take your time!! If this doesn't count as a short character thought then I'm sorry and I can also wait until requests are open again! Or maybe I'm just overthinking this-

dark cacao cookie would be wary of you at first. he already shows no mercy for any of the licorice monsters who dared climb the kingdom’s wall, but now seeing a licorice monster that resembles a cookie was definitely something else. not only that, but he’s once again confused when you see you’re very weak, nor even aggressive. he tends to see you wander around the kingdom carefree at dark, only retreating back to the licorice sea when the sun begins to come back up. for now, he’ll leave you be, but just know he’ll always keep an eye on you.

affogato cookie is as always, intrigued. he would immediately try to think of ways to find out more about you, find out how he could use your powers to his own advantage. he sees you strolling the kingdom at night by your lonesome, and he ends up approaching you. he immediately begins buttering you up as much as you can, complimenting and manipulating you in order to gain your power. once he has you, he acts as if he cares for you; giving you a room with covered windows so the sunlight wouldn’t bother you. but in the end, he truly has only selfish motivations.

your first time meeting caramel arrow cookie wasn’t really what you would want when you’re first introduced to someone. unless you like someone pointing their bow at your throat, then yeah. she keeps you still, the string of the bow pulled back ready to shoot you. she’s completely focused on you, waiting for you to make any kind of movement that could be threatening. but you don’t make any other movements, other than raising your hands up in surrender. she huffs, lowering her bow but keeping her guard up. she decides that the king would know what to do with you.

crunchy chip cookie first encountered you when you were wandering around the snowy forests after dark. he was first alerted when he saw his cream wolves run off barking at movement somewhere deep in the forest, only to find you hiding in a tree while the cream wolves kept barking and scratching at the bark to get to you. he immediately prepares to fight, brandishing his claw hand to show that he’s armed. you swear you mean no harm, that you were just frightened from the barking, but he doesn’t buy your story on bit. better start talking, intruder!

sea fairy cookie is the one kindest to you out of everyone. she treats you as her own family, spending time with you as much as she can. she hides you from the sun, knowing it could injure you and turn your entire body into stone within a matter of seconds whenever you’re exposed to even a little bit of sunlight. because you’re only active during the night time, you’ve come to know and love moonlight cookie as well. these two are like family to you, and even if you come from a darker part of the sea, they still love you equally.
