Reading through this currently.
I'm holding out hope and waiting for a response from Alex before I pass judgement. I suggest that others do the same as well-- I don't want a repeat of the situation with Kwite.
If this ends up being true, I don't know what to think. Can we just have our things and be nice to each other? Please?
Update as of 3/14: Things look so incredibly bleak here. That's a lot of evidence and a lot of prominent witnesses. Yikes.
Update as of 3/28: I just finished reading Alex's response and I feel a lot better about aforementioned's innocence. I agree with the general sentiment rn that Ven's original document was sketchy and full of holes. Callout posts never end well for either party, and this is no exception. I sincerely hope both sides can move on and that Alex's reputation can remain intact and fix itself over time.
Spreading this to here as it is very important !!
(I was not the creator of this doc, it was created by stirringjuice on Twitter, I’m simply posting it on this site to make people here aware of it)
✨A Few Jazzpunk Headcanons✨
A few sensitive topics, none go into detail.
General World Stuff
- Placebex is found in practically every home (within Japanada) and abused to no end. (The reason why most of the characters in the first two levels are silhouettes who wander around aimlessly.) Placebex is a "fix-all" in the worst way.
- Missionoyl is not as commonplace, but just as easy to abuse (PB regularly takes whole bottles, keep that in mind)
The Editor
- Former Frenchman (because England doesn't exist in Jpk?)
- Separated from parents at a young age, raised by The Director.
- Worked at Nexus 6 before Polyblank, left for The Syndicate in his 20s because he wasn't treated well. Also has to take Placebex to moderate years of Missionoyl abuse.
- Arm augments that connect up to his shoulders. Powered by nuclear fission
- Generally afraid of getting augments or surgeries of any sort.
I have next to nothing about Polyblank, but...
- Newer version of Editor's augments, NOT fission powered, instead powered by weird quantum stuff.
- Cannot read English.
- Must put everything into his mouth. Yeah.
As someone who would not have been able to learn about the LGBTQ+ community without the internet, this is Scary.
I live in a pretty homophobic state; the kids here (the kids in my very classes) call transgender kids “it”— this bill is terrifying if all of this is true, don’t let these people have another excuse to stay ignorant. Stay safe, and share your resources with those who need it.
GET KOSA TRENDING.
STOP SCROLLING NOW!
AS OF FEBRUARY 21ST, 2024, WE GOT FIVE DAYS UNTIL THE DAY OF DECISION OF THE KOSA BILL, WHICH WILL CAUSE MASS CENSORSHIP ROUND THE INTERNET IF PASSED. OR DOOMSDAY. WE NEED EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT THIS AND CONTRIBUTE. I'M NOT GIVING UP ON YOU ALL.
WE'RE DOWN TO THE WIRE BUT WE CAN'T GIVE UP YET. IF WE GIVE UP, EVERYTHING IS OVER. IF WE DON'T, AT LEAST WE HAVE A CHANCE.
I'M THE ONE WHO SOUNDED THE ALARM, AND I'M NOT GOING TO CURL UP AND DIE YET.
