NO GOOD TV - Vol. 6
English Subtitles for NO GOOD TV - Vol. 6 | RYO NISHIKIDO & JIN AKANISHI & SHUN OGURI & TAKAYUKI YAMADA
Translated this a few months ago for fun because the boys are hilarious and there seemed to be some demand for translations~ but I dropped this since:
setting accurate time stamps on Youtube’s platform took more time than the actual translation and
NO GOOD TV doesn’t seem to accept subtitle contributions… even though they commented that they would work on translations for overseas folks XD
I added manually added the names of the speaker for those not following along with the video :)
Highlights (These lines are separate highlights from the video, so the lines are very sporadic XD)
0:00:00.000,0:00:01.300 Takayuki: I’M TAKAYUKI YAMADA!!!!!

0:01:07.400,0:01:08.400 Takayuki: Hm, I wonder.
0:01:08.600,0:01:09.600 Ryo: That means I did, didn’t I!?
0:01:10.620,0:01:12.200 Takayuki: No, you were fine.
0:01:12.500,0:01:13.500 Ryo: After that,
0:01:13.500,0:01:16.720 Ryo: I slept on the sofa for 2 hours like I had fainted.
0:01:16.720,0:01:19.355 Ryo: And I thought, “Oh crap, I don’t remember anything.”
0:01:19.355,0:01:21.100 Ryo: I was so depressed yesterday.
0:01:21.100,0:01:22.500 Ryo: Like, “What the heck did I say?”
0:01:23.340,0:01:25.600 Shun: Same. I completely felt the same way. Ryo: Oh really?
0:01:25.600,0:01:26.360 Ryo: You don’t remember?

0:01:31.200,0:01:32.575 Takayuki: But, Shun-kun,
0:01:32.575,0:01:34.505 Takayuki: when you get really drunk, you always…
0:01:39.100,0:01:40.000 Takayuki: …become like this.
0:01:40.800,0:01:42.700 Takayuki: You didn’t reach that point. Jin: So it wasn’t that bad.
0:01:42.700,0:01:46.400 Shun: Partway through, the only thing I remember was that I was having fun.
0:01:46.400,0:01:51.000 Shun: And the more time passed, I thought, “Crap, maybe this is a bit bad.”
0:01:51.000,0:01:53.000 Shun: I sent Jin a text immediately.
0:01:54.635,0:01:56.400 Jin: When I asked, “Shun-kun, are you okay?”
0:01:56.400,0:01:58.200 Jin: He responded, “I’m doing great!”
0:01:59.705,0:02:01.645 Jin: The next… the next day,
0:02:01.835,0:02:04.085 Jin: I got a text asking “Um, can I check the footage just in case?”

0:02:35.360,0:02:36.200 Takayuki: What should I do?
0:02:36.220,0:02:37.420 Takayuki: Should I have more of that health drink?

Psychological Test #1
0:04:23.040,0:04:26.000 Ryo: As our first activity of the day, should we start off with a psychological test?
0:04:26.040,0:04:29.180 Takayuki: Ah, I guess it can help liven things up. Jin: Now?
0:04:29.380,0:04:30.440 Ryo: Right?
0:04:30.440,0:04:31.200 Takayuki: It might be a good warm up.
0:04:31.200,0:04:32.480 Ryo: Do you have a psychological test?
0:04:32.480,0:04:34.900 Jin: This is kinda like a girls’ night out. A girls’ night.
0:04:34.900,0:04:36.940 Ryo: But psychological tests are fun, aren’t they?
0:04:37.200,0:04:38.000 Takayuki: Here we go.
0:04:38.880,0:04:42.140 Jin: “There’s a transfer student at your school.
0:04:42.500,0:04:44.360 Jin: That girl is very beautiful
0:04:44.360,0:04:46.000 Jin: and her grades are top-notch.
0:04:46.020,0:04:49.120 Jin: However, that girl has a secret.
0:04:49.120,0:04:50.060 Jin: What is her secret?”
0:04:50.080,0:04:51.580 Takayuki: Beautiful with excellent grades…
0:04:51.580,0:04:52.520 Takayuki: A secret…
0:04:53.900,0:04:54.780 Shun: Hmm.
0:04:54.780,0:04:57.900 Ryo: Um, I’d say… that her family is really poor.
0:04:57.900,0:04:59.660 Takayuki: A transfer student…
0:04:59.660,0:05:00.985 Jin: I’d say the opposite.
0:05:00.985,0:05:03.400 Jin: She’s the heiress to a large corporation.
0:05:03.420,0:05:04.760 Ryo: Like the daughter of a distinguished family.
0:05:04.760,0:05:05.860 Jin: Yes, yes. Takayuki: You’re the opposite. The complete opposite.
0:05:05.860,0:05:08.840 Takayuki: A transfer student that is beautiful and has excellent grades comes to my school…
0:05:08.880,0:05:11.520 Shun: A very beautiful transfer student with excellent grades comes to my school….
0:05:11.760,0:05:14.000 Takayuki: With a secret. Shun: She has a secret.
0:05:14.720,0:05:17.820 Ryo: You guys sure are thinking a lot for just a psychological test.
0:05:18.860,0:05:20.300 Takayuki: I’m, I’m trying, I’m trying to picture it.
0:05:21.060,0:05:24.920 Shun: I’m also trying to imagine the moment she comes. Takayuki: A beautiful and smart transfer student comes
0:05:25.180,0:05:27.700 Takayuki: and stands in the front of the classroom next to the teacher.
0:05:28.480,0:05:29.740 Ryo: Like “We have a new friend with us today!”
0:05:29.995,0:05:33.025 Takayuki: What secret does that girl have?
0:05:33.025,0:05:35.015 Jin: Is this what happens with people that have been acting for some time?
0:05:35.435,0:05:36.400 Ryo: No, wait, wait.
0:05:36.400,0:05:40.900 Ryo: For psychological tests, I think the answer should come to you much more quickly and easily.
0:05:40.900,0:05:42.775 Shun: She has curled toenails.
0:05:43.145,0:05:45.200 Jin: Ahhh.
0:05:45.200,0:05:46.000 Takayuki: I wonder why.
0:05:46.000,0:05:48.300 Takayuki: I’ve never had someone transfer to my class before.
0:05:48.300,0:05:50.000 Ryo: Really, anything’s fine!
0:05:51.100,0:05:52.200 Jin: Hurry up.
0:05:52.200,0:05:54.200 Takayuki: What do you mean anything’s fine? This has to do with my psychology, you know.
0:05:56.360,0:05:57.300 Takayuki: I know!
0:05:57.300,0:05:58.000 Ryo: Yes?
0:05:58.000,0:06:00.000 Takayuki: I know why her grades are top-notch.
0:06:00.000,0:06:02.500 Takayuki: It’s because she’s two years older than everyone.
0:06:02.500,0:06:04.000 Ryo: For some unknown reason.
0:06:04.000,0:06:05.100 Shun: So she had to repeat a few years?
0:06:05.100,0:06:05.900 Takayuki: That’s right.
0:06:05.900,0:06:07.400 Jin: So that’s the answer you come up with after thinking that hard?
0:06:08.020,0:06:09.400 Takayuki: It just suddenly came to me.
0:06:09.400,0:06:10.860 Takayuki: That’s why her grades are top-notch.
0:06:14.580,0:06:16.740 Takayuki: “Something you don’t want others to know about you.”
0:06:18.580,0:06:19.820 Takayuki: So that’s true for Shun-kun then!
0:06:20.680,0:06:23.800 Takayuki: You don’t want anyone to know about your curved toenails!
0:06:23.800,0:06:24.800 Jin: Yeah, that’s right.
0:06:26.440,0:06:28.280 Takayuki: Ryo-chan, your family is really poor.
0:06:28.780,0:06:30.380 Takayuki: Jin… Jin is wealthy.
0:06:31.620,0:06:33.100 Ryo: You ARE wealthy.
0:06:33.640,0:06:34.140 Shun: Takayuki,
0:06:34.140,0:06:36.020 Shun: that means you’re a year older than me then.
0:06:36.100,0:06:36.600 Takayuki: That’s right.
0:06:36.640,0:06:37.360 Takayuki: Watch your manners.
0:06:37.360,0:06:38.640 Takayuki: It’s fine, now that my age is revealed.
0:06:40.220,0:06:42.880 Shun: Suspicions of age falsification after coming on the show!
Psychological Test #2
0:06:46.160,0:06:48.560 Ryo: Okay, one more. Let’s do one more.
0:06:48.900,0:06:52.200 Ryo: “Water splashed onto you. Which part of your body did it land on?”
0:06:54.225,0:06:55.225 Takayuki: Ehehe!
0:06:56.480,0:06:56.980 Ryo: Huh?
0:06:57.360,0:06:58.600 Takayuki: My ****!
0:06:59.360,0:07:01.500 Jin: Your ****?
0:07:02.340,0:07:04.420 Ryo: Why, why are you naked?
0:07:05.340,0:07:06.360 Takayuki: Ah, I’m not naked.
0:07:06.380,0:07:08.240 Takayuki: I’m clothed. It suddenly splashes on me while I’m clothed,
0:07:08.240,0:07:09.220 Takayuki: and I’m like “Oh no!”
0:07:09.220,0:07:09.820 Ryo: Ahh, okay, okay, okay.
0:07:09.820,0:07:11.000 Takayuki: “Argh!”
0:07:11.320,0:07:13.160 Shun: So on your crotch. Jin: For me, legs. My leg.
0:07:13.200,0:07:14.720 Shun: Leg? Takayuki: Which part? Which part of your leg?
0:07:14.860,0:07:15.600 Jin: My ankle.
0:07:16.080,0:07:16.960 Takayuki: Your ankle…
0:07:18.720,0:07:20.140 Shun: For me, around this area. (Answer: The part you have the most confidence in)
0:07:20.140,0:07:20.840 Jin: Oh! Oh! Oh!
0:07:20.840,0:07:21.340 Takayuki: Wait, don’t look!
0:07:21.340,0:07:22.280 Takayuki: Ryo-chan, did you see it?
0:07:22.280,0:07:24.240 Ryo: I did see it, but I’ll answer honestly.
0:07:24.400,0:07:24.900 Takayuki: Sure.
0:07:25.440,0:07:26.820 Ryo: I was going to say my face.
0:07:28.280,0:07:29.280 Shun: Nice!
0:07:30.180,0:07:32.260 Takayuki: Shun-kun, do you have confidence in your shoulders?
0:07:32.840,0:07:33.800 Jin: You have confidence in your shoulders?
0:07:33.920,0:07:34.680 Shun: My left shoulder.
0:07:35.260,0:07:36.720 Takayuki: You have confidence in your left shoulder.
0:07:36.760,0:07:37.800 Jin: Your left shoulder?!
0:07:38.880,0:07:40.420 Takayuki: Jin… I can see Jin’s.
0:07:40.420,0:07:42.180 Takayuki: You always have one pant leg rolled up
0:07:42.180,0:07:43.360 Takayuki: With your ankle showing. Ryo: Ah, you’re right! It’s true!
0:07:43.360,0:07:44.700 Ryo: It’s true. Jin: Ah! So that might be true!
0:07:45.020,0:07:46.380 Takayuki: Right? Jin: That might be true!
0:07:46.380,0:07:47.940 Ryo: So, your crotch…
0:07:47.940,0:07:48.440 Takayuki: Well!
0:07:48.440,0:07:49.760 Takayuki: Now that things have gotten exciting…
0:07:49.760,0:07:50.280 Ryo: Wait, wait, wait.
0:07:50.280,0:07:51.040 Ryo: Why did you act like nothing happened? Takayuki: I’d like to go ahead

Psychological Test #3
0:07:55.540,0:07:56.560 Takayuki: Well, you know,
0:07:56.560,0:07:58.340 Takayuki: We really shouldn’t think too hard when answering psychological tests.
0:07:58.660,0:08:01.560 Jin: So do you all try to answer based on what you think the actual prompt is?
0:08:01.560,0:08:02.760 Ryo: I don’t think about it.
0:08:02.760,0:08:06.180 Takayuki: Just now, I went with my gut instinct, but nothing really came to mind for the first one so I had to think about it.
0:08:06.860,0:08:08.100 Jin: I see, I see.
0:08:08.100,0:08:12.080 Ryo: Then do you want to try doing a psychological test while guessing what the prompt is first?
0:08:12.280,0:08:13.660 Takayuki: Guess the prompt? Ryo: Let’s say
0:08:13.660,0:08:16.820 Ryo: what we think the test is trying to say about us.
0:08:18.160,0:08:20.860 Ryo: “You called the wrong number and hung up without thinking.
0:08:20.860,0:08:25.040 Ryo: Then your phone starts to ring, and it’s from the number you accidentally dialed.
0:08:25.040,0:08:26.720 Ryo: What do you say to the caller?”
0:08:27.360,0:08:27.980 Takayuki: Alright.
0:08:28.140,0:08:29.640 Takayuki: I think I got it!
0:08:29.660,0:08:32.240 Takayuki: For the most part, it seems that the staff
0:08:32.980,0:08:34.740 Takayuki: want to steer us towards sexual innuendo.
0:08:35.000,0:08:36.240 Jin: That’s right. Ryo: Yes.
0:08:36.260,0:08:38.400 Jin: I feel the same way. Takayuki: Rather than think about the creator of the test,
0:08:38.400,0:08:41.280 Takayuki: We need to start by understanding the people that chose the test.
0:08:44.060,0:08:45.660 Shun: I wonder what it is. This is difficult. Takayuki: “Um, my apologies, but…
0:08:45.680,0:08:48.840 Takayuki: I’ll call you back so that you aren’t charged for the call.”
0:08:49.540,0:08:50.600 Ryo: Oh! What a gentleman.
0:08:50.600,0:08:52.440 Shun: Ah, very gentleman-like.
0:08:52.440,0:08:55.440 Shun: I guess I’ll say, “I’m sorry, I called this number by accident.”
0:08:55.920,0:08:57.080 Takayuki: By accident…
0:08:57.080,0:08:59.120 Ryo: “I’m happy to hear your voice again.”
0:09:00.460,0:09:01.820 Takayuki: Kind of like a psychopath.
0:09:03.780,0:09:05.795 Jin: It might be “What do you say after you cheat on someone?”
0:09:05.795,0:09:08.565 Takayuki: It’s probably something like that. Cheating, etc. Ryo & Shun: Ahhh.
0:09:09.255,0:09:11.535 Shun: If you say, “Sorry, I made a mistake!”
0:09:11.540,0:09:13.540 Takayuki: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Shun: That’d be pretty bad, right?
0:09:14.580,0:09:16.560 Takayuki: Should we think of a single response together?
0:09:16.560,0:09:17.960 Takayuki: Something that makes us think “This one!”
0:09:18.480,0:09:20.340 Shun: Then how about Ryo-chan’s?
0:09:20.345,0:09:21.305 Jin: Sounds good.
0:09:21.305,0:09:22.480 Takayuki: What was it again?
0:09:22.500,0:09:24.420 Ryo: “I’m happy to hear your voice again.”
0:09:26.000,0:09:29.640 Jin: Let’s just go with “I’m happy to hear your voice again” as our answer.
0:09:29.900,0:09:30.580 Ryo: Yeah.
0:09:30.580,0:09:32.160 Ryo: As our one answer, right?
0:09:32.160,0:09:33.480 Jin: Yeah, yeah.
0:09:33.480,0:09:35.120 (Answer: Your excuse when you’re caught cheating)
0:09:35.440,0:09:37.420 Shun: Ahh, Takayuki, you’re amazing!
0:09:37.440,0:09:38.640 Jin: Just as I thought. Ryo: You were right!
0:09:38.640,0:09:40.340 Takayuki: Ahh, Jin was right.
0:09:40.480,0:09:42.400 Jin: So how would that work with “I’m happy to hear your voice again”?
0:09:45.000,0:09:46.760 Shun: You’ll probably get beat up
0:09:47.500,0:09:49.160 Shun: If you said that all of a sudden.

0:09:57.440,0:09:59.060 Takayuki: For next time,
0:09:59.060,0:10:00.900 Takayuki: Well, even if it’s just a proposal,
0:10:01.040,0:10:03.920 Takayuki: Let’s think of someone that we’d like to collaborate with or that we’d like to talk with.
0:10:03.920,0:10:05.340 Jin: I was thinking a celebrity
0:10:05.440,0:10:06.380 Jin: or a girl.
0:10:06.380,0:10:07.680 Takayuki: Yeah, I feel the same.
0:10:07.680,0:10:09.740 Takayuki: It’d be interesting with a girl.
0:10:10.005,0:10:11.775 Jin: In the end…
0:10:11.780,0:10:14.900 Jin: Well, it’s fine if we’re just looking to increase our friends,
0:10:15.060,0:10:17.760 Jin: but we can go beyond just this channel
0:10:17.760,0:10:19.760 Ryo: Ah, I see. Jin: and do something separate as well.
0:10:20.220,0:10:21.260 Ryo: Yes. Jin: Right?
0:10:23.040,0:10:24.960 Ryo: Well, it’s April 20th now, isn’t it?
0:10:25.180,0:10:25.980 Ryo: Huh? Was it the 20th?
0:10:26.800,0:10:28.380 Ryo: I’m not sure. Shun: April…
0:10:28.380,0:10:29.540 Shun: Is it the 19th today?
0:10:29.540,0:10:31.120 Ryo: Ah, I see. It’s the 19th.
0:10:32.695,0:10:34.125 Jin: And then,
0:10:34.660,0:10:36.580 Jin: Similar to what we’re doing now,
0:10:37.060,0:10:38.620 Jin: while gathering,
0:10:38.920,0:10:39.420 Takayuki: Yeah.

0:11:23.695,0:11:24.695 Ryo: Wait a sec.
0:11:26.380,0:11:27.400 Ryo: Alright!

0:11:28.320,0:11:29.360 Ryo: Where did Takayuki-kun go?
0:11:29.840,0:11:30.800 Shun: He disappeared.
0:11:31.260,0:11:32.900 Ryo: Oh, he’s here. Takayuki: I’m hereeeee!
0:11:41.605,0:11:42.715 Shun: Oh, he’s back.
0:11:56.945,0:11:58.555 Shun: His sound is muted.

So apparently, Tegoshi participated in a charity project that provides single mothers with bento. From what I got, the sum of donation resulted in a certain number of bentos with the person’s name and message of encouragement. I might be a cynical bitch as all I can read is “I’m a celebrity who fucked up and now doing charity to create positive image”.

Smile Up ! Project 〜オリジナル絵本「ふしぎなきのみ」読み聞かせ〜 加藤シゲアキ
So today it was Kato-sensei’s turn to contribute to the Smile Up! Project and unsurprisingly, he read a book. However, I did not expect he’d be reading his early work. And by early I mean written at 5. A compelling and powerful work, as expected. Such plot twists, such engaging storytelling, such strong message. And that “N?” is to die for! He also changed the title from “Fruit-bearing Tree” to “Mysterious fruits”. Sasuga, sensei.
Honestly, I don’t know what compelled him to do a remake of this particular book. I mean, it’s not even a children’s project. But I love how he tried to keep a straight face and almost succeeding. Saying “pig’s butt” and “poop” is not easy for the best of us, let’s be real. Btw, he mentioned the book several years ago on Bibitto, you can see some original pages here.
Also, next it should be Tegoshi. Will he be kicking a ball? I mean, balls is his forte ;) Or showing off his dogge? Spring make-up tutorial? We’ll see. Singing would be out as Masuda already did it. Good job, Massu!

A letter from Ohkura Tadayoshi to people who didn’t follow the rules
He said he wrote this after weighing the pros and cons of the matter. He’s aware that their work is to be in the media, public figures that are under scrutiny all the time. And he’s very aware of this thing so called, “The price of fame”
Their work makes their schedule very visible to all fans especially in matters of participating in a tv program (fanclub sends letter asking if you want to join to be audience) and each time there’s plenty of ppl waiting for them at tv stations & airports.
However, some of the fans are so obsessive that they cause public nuisance to other people, shove things into eito members bags and grab their arms. Kura confessed that the self centered behaviour is starting to cause him emotional stress. He’s not sure if he could continue putting up with it.
Once he was eating out with a friend and at the table next to him, he saw a familiar face that always follow him at the station and at airport. He’s asking if it’s okay for a woman to stalk a man and do man really have to put up with it and had it been a man who do that, it’d be considered as a crime.
He’d like his feelings to be understood. Right now, he says the only ones who knows how he feels are his members. He know this is a price as a celebrity and he think he should just ignore it but he finds himself unable to stay quiet about it anymore and so he’s writing this down in order to find some relief. He feels that this stress had been killing him and it had been told to him that illnesses with unknown causes are majorly caused by stress.
Each time he has to go for Janiben filming in Osaka, he’d always get extremely depressed the day before he has to fly in Osaka. He could only think of the stalking and he honestly didn’t want to go because he’s getting scared.
But he thinks of the staffs who are waiting for him and making sure that he’d enjoy a filming that is comfortable and safe. He thinks of the fans who follows the rule and waiting for them and he has nothing but thankfulness for those fans. That is why he’s frustrated because he feel bad for the fans who come to see him while following the rule if he didn’t go. He didn’t want to let them down.
He gave up on creation of a law and is thinking if being “a normal person” might help him get away from the stalkers, then he’s thinking it might be easier to just be a normal person already.
He confessed that he’s at the end of his rope already.

Popolo 2012.05
Highlights: Nakamaru and Ueda talked about the times they shared a room.
– Nakamaru Yuichi – Please tell us a member’s sleeping form that you know! Ueda sleeps in total darkness!! When the room is not in complete darkness, Ueda seems unable to fall sleep. At that time, I really dislike the darkness and I couldn’t agree (laughs). It’s scary~, the darkness. And Junno looks refreshed when he wakes up☆ If you’re sharing a room with a member during concert? We would set rules for each other There have been many times I shared a room with Ueda, and he would switch his phone to silent mode for me. In return, the rule he set for me is “not to beatbox” (laughs). – Ueda Tatsuya – Please tell us a member’s sleeping form that you know! Beatboxing was noisy!? I’ve never thought about it before but I think all the members sleep quietly. Ah, when I slept in the same room as Nakamaru, he was very noisy with his beatboxing (laughs). I felt that he was always practising regardless of the time and place then. If you’re sharing a room with a member during concert? We spent our time freely respectively Before our debut, we shared rooms but the combination would be decided by guupaa [1]. We spent our time freely by talking on the phone, watching tv etc respectively. I think I roomed with Nakamaru most often. [1] Guupaa is a hand game. Guu literally means stone while paa means paper. Participants throw out a stone or paper during a turn together. Participants who threw out the same move get grouped together. I don’t know the English term for this game (>.<)
