╥ ╥ sorry for being ia lately (both writing wise and interacting with mutuals) i don’t have the motivation to write and lately i’ve been focusing on much more important things

i can’t promise that i’ll come back completely but i’ll try to work on some drabbles or at most one since it’s my spring break

Eric always overwhelms you. Not from his words or actions, but simply looking at him. It’s not like he did anything wrong to you, you’re just overthinking. You missed what it felt like to be innocent and happy. Now, constant reminders from others are sickening you. It’s not hatred, because how could you ever hate him after what he’s done to you these years?

You two have been close since you were kids, as your parents were all friends in high school. He was always with you growing up. In elementary school, he wouldn’t leave you by yourself and would always include you in whatever he was doing. Some of his friends didn’t like how you were there, but he didn’t care what they thought. He always made sure you were happy whenever you were with him.

When you arrived in middle school, your classmates kept shipping you two because of what he always did. Every time someone asked if you were dating, he would reply that you two were close as toddlers. It happened frequently that eventually Eric had to be careful about taking care of you so you wouldn’t feel uncomfortable by the remarks made by your classmates.

Highschool flew by and it changed your friendship with Eric. He was more flirtier with you and each time he hugged you, it was more than ten seconds. He always complimented you and always offered to do your homework. Even when his or your friends asked if you two were dating, he wouldn’t deny but he wouldn’t answer the question properly — either winking or ignoring the question.

You weren’t dating, but definitely not best friends. Because what kind of best friends sleep in the same bed for sleepovers, send ‘I love you’ messages every night, or interlock fingers? It was sweet, but at the end of the day, you weren’t a couple.

Eric always overwhelms you because, no matter how much he smiles at you or tells you he loves you, he’s never going to try to make it work out.

SUMMARY. Back in his last year of middle school, Yeonjun was warned by the yearbook committee that he was the only graduate who hasn’t submitted a quote. So at the last minute, before submissions were closed, he quoted a song he was listening to. In his last year of high school, rumours about him start flying around—specifically about him dating someone who he has never heard of. It’s only until he realises that he was allegedly dating the school’s best news reporter of the broadcasting club, L/N Y/N, all because they accidentally matched quotes in middle school—which ruins his reputation as the school’s best swimmer. So what does Yeonjun do to redeem his title back? FIND OUT IN ‘QUOTE MY HEART’!
