as a teenager, nanami prioritises comfort and making a statement. he lives in band t-shirts, baggy pants and the occasional skinny jeans. his wardrobe, though dreary at first glance (made up of monochromes and every shade of black imaginable) includes well worn tees with colourful logos, flames and the nirvana smiley face. he is every inch a moody, emo teen, complete with the attitude. the jujutsu high uniform is more fitted than he would’ve liked. had he known it was customisable, he would’ve thrown in a hood and opted for loose pants to allow freedom of movement.

as an adult, his focus shifts to looking the part and fitting in. he has never found suits and ties overly comfortable but he gets used to it. as an office worker, and later a financial analyst, he has to and it’s fine. his middle ground is the best quality fabric he can find. comfort comes at a price but he prefers quality over quantity anyway. timeless pieces like his watch and italian leather shoes are investments that will last years. he is not one to follow trends, picking classic cuts in earthy/ neutral tones over the latest fad. it has served him well. everything he buys is later tailored to fit because his shoulders are too broad and waist too trim for conventional sizing. he has a good few shirts, fewer suits but has figured out a capsule wardrobe that works for him. he makes less of a statement with his style nowadays, except for the patterned tie and the occasional coloured shirt. and he only does that much so the people at work stop calling him an old geezer. otherwise he’s all to happy to simply blend in.

at home, he adopts a style that can be described as athleisure wear. he is something of a gym rat and is very comfortable in faded t-shirts and sweats. the contacts are out, gold rimmed glasses are on, and he forgoes styling his hair.

as a jujutsu sorcerer, he simply dresses as he did while working at an office. it isn’t practical but nanami doesn’t want to think too hard about it. he has spent too much on his wardrobe to toss it all out and well, it’s fine. a shirt is like a second skin at this point. he gets really good at taking out bloodstains but he can’t do anything about tears and rips. he stops looking for quality fabric and buys what he can in multi-packs in lieu of ruining all of his nice, expensive shirts.

Bleeding Fairy Helmet/Mycena Haematopus!!

Look at these its a muted red too that complements the colors i see on your blog , and like just cool- but these guys!!!

Not only if you cut it they bleed like a red latex fluid similar to blood [Like blood tooth mushrooms!!] Got its name from the red latex it oozes when damaged!![it bleeds a more purplish red on younger blood fairy helmets!]

They.Glow.In.The.DARK!!! Glow in the dark mushrooms are just so cool. Even though its really hard to see from like the human eye sort of deal cause the light is weak but its still there!!

Even though the Lacks in the brightness from its glow, it makes up for in the beautiful burgundy of its delicate caps!! They can be found throughout Europe & North America.

Another fun name for these guys are burgundydrop bonnets!!! Which like the cutest thing ever???

These guys are also safe to eat but really no benefits and is tasteless from what i know[i need to double check this fact]

They appear in small groups or clusters on things such as decaying logs, trunks, and stumps for example!!

I dont know to , to much bout these fellas but they are so cool and i wanna know more so very similar to idk you too well but you are a cool moot id def love to talk to more lol

Hii oh, the ask-me-anythings are quite spontaneous and the last one's over but taking this one! I love hands (and have specific preferences but doesn't everyone), love seeing them, describing them in writing, gazing at art of them. I kept drawing them and will do so until I get much more decent at it - they're like little bodies in themselves, there's that nervous dynamism that looks absolutely fantastic. Some of my favorite recent hands in art are in godivaghoul's work, she has a tumblr (been sharing her works on here myself oftentimes). Check it out, it's gorgeous

Lowering himself to a crouch, Itachi places both palms on Sasuke’s round cheeks and smiles at the distorted expression that greets him in return. “Thank you for collecting me.” Then, effortlessly, he hoists his brother up and onto a hip. His ear burns and continues to do so as Sasuke refuses to let go of it: at least until he has safely escorted his charge to his intended destination. Which is fine. At least Itachi can walk properly now.

15. How do you come up with titles for your fics/chapters?

i used to haaate doing this bc i blanked constantly and i'd be wracking my brain and only come up with dumb song lyrics or whatever. but i've gotten fond of it over the past few years! i have a couple of methods

rotate the project, and its potential titles, in my brain like a rotisserie chicken. eventually it will come to me in the shower, or while i'm driving. "how arthur got his groove back" came to me while driving actually

what's my favorite line in the entire chapter/fic? do that

think of chapters like episodes of a season or series. that takes the pressure off

if i could only describe it in 1 or maybe 2-3 words, what would they be? name it that. great if you like short snappy titles like me

failing that, what does the thing talk about the most, either literally or thematically? use that. better if it's already a turn of phrase people are familiar with like "responsibility of care" or "two to tango" and you can replace some words to make it sound witty or funny/ironic instead of (sorry) cringe

hc + collection

nanami doesn't actively collect anything apart from books. he has been buying them for years now. mostly because someone recommended a title. sometimes because he has seen it advertised in bookstores or papers and it sounds interesting. e-books exist and would be far more suitable for his lifestyle but there's something very nostalgic and whimsical about a physical book. it's a tangible experience; flipping through pages, feeling the texture of paper in his hands, trying to smooth out the cracks of a spine on a novel that's well-read and loved.

he does have a few varieties of wine and whiskey in the liquor cabinet. when he visits a new place for a mission, he'll add another bottle or two to his burgeoning collection. but when these bottles are drained dry, he doesn't go out of his way to replace them. and he doesn't feel the need to have every single variety. its an ever evolving collection and sometimes, depending on how things are that week, its rather thin. he also has many, many varieties of spices in his kitchen cabinet from all over the world.
