SM Entertainment launches pre-debiut team 'SMRookies'

2013 is a busy year for SM Entertainment! In addition to comeback announcements and concert activities, the agency has now announced a pre-debut team called 'SMRookies'!

On the 3rd, SM revealed the four trainees on SMTOWN's official Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. Seulgi (19), Taeyong (18), Seyeon (16), and Jeno (13) already showcased their strong visuals through individual teaser photos.

Particularly, trainees Seulgi and Seyeon are drawing attention as they were mentioned by SUPER JUNIOR's Kyuhyun and f(x) members on 'Radio Star' this August.

SM says, "SMRookies will introduce SM's new 'Co-Creation' system. Fans will be able to participate in events and showcases before the official debut. The rookies will form different groups with each other, showing their daily lives, skills, and various charms."
