When you spent part of your night watching a streamer play L*ttle Hope and the story makes you have high muse for your witch muses.

#❧ ⸻ jane speaks .#i can’t really play terror/jumpscare games bc anxiety #but i do love watching others play #i got very surprised with the accuracy of historical events in that game #like they portrayed what happened in a small village during the witch hunt very well #i just read a book about it and i have read others too so i can pretty much have a say in that #the ending was very ??????? and a turn off but we live for the theories #for that kind of game so haushauahau

The pair were in a quiet section of the library, reviewing one of Jane's assignments from some of her classes. Hermione, being Jane's self-appointed tutor, friend and fellow Gryffindor, the older sister, took it upon herself to bring some books that'd help. To most people, these books would be a bore to read, but to Hermione, this was her whole life. Jane was paying plenty of attention, but they'd been here for a good hour or so, if not longer, so she couldn't blame her if she was a bit tired.

❝For your Potions assignment,❞ She repeated, ❝It seems you'll be doing a Calming Draught. So, to reiterate the ingredients, you'll need,❞ She took a breath before she began to list, ❝Lavender, Crocodile heart and peppermint.❞ She read out fluently, glancing to her Potions textbook from her own classes. Obviously this was a simpler potion, but the ingredients were key to remember. Neville often got them mixed up, and Ron & Harry tended to add too much or too little of the ingredients, so she wanted to make sure Jane was prepared. ❝Snape will be watching carefully, so you want to absolutely make sure that you get the measurements and amounts correct, and the method to add them, whether the need dicing or slicing.❞ She spoke, glancing to the girl before down at the textbook, making extra notes on the loose sheet of parchment with all the little things Jane would need to be SURE her potion would go successfully. ❝Believe me, he'll notice if something isn't right.❞ She finished finally, sliding the piece of parchment over for the girl to look over.

❝He's gone quite easy on you for this, since it's just simply revising the recipe itself... there's no guarantee he'll do the same next time.❞

Another one of these sodding things. Ball? Gala? Whatever it was. Molly was here, a representative for St. Bartholomew's hospital, and because she was invited by her other peers ( receiving a formal invitation from Mycroft Holmes, fancy that ). These things always tended to look better—or she imagined them that way—in the books she read and films she watched. Jane Austen being a prime example.

She was here in a dark blue dress, which was recommended for the event, her hair down, cascading down her back, stray strands from the top of her head falling across her face as if they represented her fringe which was non-existent. She sighed, pushing the brown strands aside. Though, her feelings hurt, especially with her going through such an effort to look so nice for no one. Might as well be at home, cuddled up with Toby in her loose pyjamas.

But as she sips her champagne, that was it. Her dark brown eyes flitting across the room, from person to person, where she met someone's eyes. Someone who was looking back at her directly and intently. Intent on what, she had no idea, but the feeling of wanting to find out was there.

And in typical, Molly Hooper fashion, Molly raised her hand just a tad, wiggling her fingers in from of a little wave. A little greeting, right?

My goal for this week is finish crown of midnight so that i can put the throne of glass series on pause (again) because hype fixation is a bitch and i am back in my kingdom hearts bullshit.

Just a small update on my readings.

I am almost finishing Kingdom Hearts X (union x game) novel and all i have to say for now is whyyyyyyy and Avaaaaaa 😭😭😭 i also have been focusing on reading Iron Widow because of the book club and i am freaking loving this book so much in so many ways.

Also i’m almost finishing my The Phantom of the Opera reread and i’m so glad i am reading this book again because i have a lot of thoughts especially about Erik, Christine and Raoul.
