This location tag thing applies to Weibo, LRB, Douyin (Chinese Tik Tok) etc, basically most if not all Chinese social media, and it shows on your current location, which is how in December, I could tell when Taylor got back to the States after his China trip. It's part of a government policy, and it's mandatory. Users cannot turn the function off. Even if idle, namely even if you don't post or comment anything, as long as you open the app, you're IP address will be publicly shown.

Also VPN is technically illegal in mainland China so there's kind of no hiding it at all. (granted I live in Hong Kong so this line doesn't affect me)

This is one of the reasons why while I browse through Weibo and LRB, I don't have an account, nor do I want to get one.

And thank you for letting me know! It seems that choosing body parts is the most chosen answer. This was my original plan but then I was worried it might be disappointing because there isn't an option in terms of gender for trans and nb characters.

I actually prefer writing scenes as detailed as possible, the gender-neutral option was just a workaround for the gender/sex of the MC. So if things continue as is, players will get the choice to choose their body parts for the NSFW scenes 😆
