Why Making Cassidy Casablancas the Rapist was an Absolute Shit Move

1. It’s a blatant retcon of 1.21 Veronica spends 1.21: A Trip to the Dentist looking for the person who raped her at Shelly Pomroy’s party sophomore year. She eventually finds out that it was Duncan, who had also been drugged and who had believed the sex was consensual. During her questioning of them, Dick, Sean, and Cassidy confirm that Cassidy had been left alone in a bedroom with Veronica that night, but Cassidy swears he never touched her—“Look, I swear to god, I didn't touch you, Veronica. Okay, I mean, Dick, he was, he was all on me to, and there was, there was this girl, this, this freshman, her name's Cindy, and she's kind of, well, she's easy, you know, and me and her, we were, we were supposed to—I don't know, Dick—Dick, he set something up, okay, and then, and then she was all over Logan and then she left early with him.” Cassidy seems genuine, if not a bit nervous and rambling, and Rob Thomas himself has admitted that while Cassidy was introduced with the knowledge that he would later become the season two villain, the idea of him being the rapist didn’t come along until later. For the writers to reveal him as the rapist twenty-three episodes after the plotline was neatly tied up reads as an overt attempt to start some unnecessary drama.

2. The show provides no solid reason as to why Cassidy raped Veronica. The only possible motives Not Pictured provides for the rape are Veronica’s assumption that Cassidy “wanted to prove [he was] a man” and the underlying implication that his childhood of sexual abuse thoroughly fucked him up both emotionally and sexually. Veronica’s assumption makes no sense when paired with the fact that nobody knew Cassidy had raped her until a year-and-a-half or so after the fact. If he really wanted to “prove himself,” he would have probably at least told his brother, who was the only reason he had the opportunity to rape Veronica in the first place. The argument can be made (as it was by my brother, who is sick of listening to me talk about this shit) that Cassidy didn’t tell anyone what happened because it was illegal, reprehensible, and would definitely have landed him in jail. This is all true, but Dick Casablancas is, despite his charm, a piece of garbage who, as written in seasons 1-2, would not have given a single fuck that Cassidy had raped Veronica. Dick demonstrates his tendency and ability to withhold important information from the authorities in 1.22: Leave it to Beaver, when he tells Cassidy “You need to chill out, Beav, right now. To the grave, man, that's what we said,” in reference to the fact that Logan was not in Mexico when Lilly was murdered. This information was (although not in the way Dick may have expected) crucial in implicating the real murderer of Lilly Kane. Both Dick’s lax regard for the law and the fact that he himself was the one who encouraged Cassidy to rape Veronica suggest that if Cassidy had told him what had really happened at Shelly’s party, there would be very, very little risk of Dick going to the authorities. Thus, the motive of “prov[ing himself] a man,” doesn’t hold up: if Cassidy really wanted to prove himself to someone, it would be Dick, and he would probably have told him what happened. We know for a fact that this isn’t the case because when Veronica accuses Cassidy of raping her, he just responds “And Dick still thinks I’m a virgin. You see, I know how to keep a secret.” Another interpretation of the “proving himself as a man” thing is that Cassidy was attempting to prove to himself that he was a man, but I honestly don’t know if that tracks, because he knew why he was uncomfortable with sex and while proving to himself that he could have sex without being a “baby” about it might, like, make him feel better about himself, he chose to do it in such a way that is eerily similar to the abuse he suffered as a child, despite the fact that he appeared to have other options—that very night, Dick had arranged for Cassidy to sleep with a freshman named Cindy. The other underlying motive that the show provides for the rape is Cassidy’s sexual trauma, which does not hold up for reasons I will address in entries #3 and #4.

3. It enforces the “cycle of abuse” stereotype

The cycle of abuse is a psychological theory that states that victims of abuse are more likely to become abusers themselves later in life than those who have not experienced abuse. This theory is not supported by much evidence, and there is, in fact, evidence against it. Cathy Spatz Widom of John Jay College conducted a study in which “only 3 percent of the sexually abused boys had become adult sexual offenders, and only 4 percent of adult sexual offenders had a confirmed history of sexual abuse.” Despite the facts disproving the cycle of abuse as a psychological theory, it remains a common trope used to either a). make the audience sympathize with an abuser (as in the case of Billy Hargrove in Stranger Things) or b. vilify an abuse victim (as in the case of Cassidy Casablancas). This trope enforces the harmful notion that past abuse can serve as a valid reason for harming others and serves to justify the actions of abusers.

4. It 𝒹𝑜𝑒𝓈𝓃’𝓉 𝒻𝓊𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓀!

Throughout season two, Cassidy is shown to be extremely uncomfortable in even remotely sexual situations. He finds himself unable to engage in any kind of sexual activity with Mac, which is understandable given his past trauma. What doesn’t track is that this same trauma is used to explain why he raped Veronica. The show presents Cassidy as uncomfortable at the prospect of sex with Mac, which he was only entertaining because he genuinely cared about her, but it also presents him as an unremorseful rapist who took advantage of a girl at a party for some unspecified reason, which… doesn’t fucking track. Make a goddamn choice in how you want to portray this character and his trauma—Has a childhood of sexual abuse made him sex-repulsed or has it made him a sexually abusive piece of shit? You can’t go down both roads.

5. It’s clearly an attempt to make Cassidy seem more evil

It obviously took viewers some time to process the whole “Beaver’s a killer” thing because of Cassidy’s soft, sensitive nature. Given time, that plot twist can be broken down and understood: Cassidy was, first and foremost, a terrified, traumatized kid who felt like he had no other way out. His fear of what would happen if anyone found out about the abuse he suffered far outweighed any moral compass he may have possessed. Though Cassidy’s actions were objectively extremely fucked up, he did have his reasons, and they are easy to understand if you look at the situation from his point of view. The reveal of Cassidy as the rapist reads as someone in the writing room being worried that no one in the audience will believe that this smart, sweet kid could ever be truly unforgivable, and trying to amp up the sheer amount of evil in Cassidy’s actions by discarding a large part of his character and making him do the most awful thing they could think of.

Anyway, Cassidy as the rapist makes no fucking sense, rest in peace my ace Cassidy headcanon… you still live in my head, but in kind a shitty apartment at the back of my brain and you are paying me rent because unlike canon murderer/rapist Cassidy you’re a respectful boy.

Here you are, out in the terrace enjoying an egg sandwich in the middle of a heavy, evening downpour– something you ought to question yourself later on. After popping what's left of the sandwich in your mouth, you dust your hands together and make your way back into your room, coming to hear five frantic knocks echo from the front door.

Who could that be in this hour?

"Y/N! Y/N!"

"Please open up! It's us!"

The familiarity of those calls gets you rushing down the steps leading to the door and you hurriedly grapple the knob, swinging the door open to the lads dripping wet from running from the other side of the road in the misty storm with their arms draped around John who appears to be in an utterly bad shape.

"Boys! What happened? Thought you were doing a gig," You assist them in settling John down on one of the couches, paying no mind to the wet mess their soaked clothes are leaving on the tiled floor– and certainly on the couch.

You immediately go by John's side and kneel to check what went wrong. Nothing afflicting his head, that's swell considering the dangers that would have caused him although he's got his forearm and leg wrapped in dressings, hinting that they might have taken him to a hospital to get treated prior to parking at yours.

"He's got nasty road rashes– one running from the side of his left forearm down to the point of his elbow and the other from his knee down to the middle of his leg." Replies Brian who's got his arms crossed at the unfortunate events.

"What happened out there?"

"Motorbike accident. Right after the gig, he rode downtown on one of the sound engineers' bikes to fetch a few parts to fix two of his amps," he kneels down beside you and you tell Freddie and Roger to fetch the first aid kit from one of the cupboards, feeling John's temperature rise with your hand on his moist forehead– he's getting a fever from the rain.

"And?" You get up and settle down beside John, wiping his face free of sweat, combing his damp hair back to calm him down.

"A sudden halt. A man ran recklessly down the pedestrian and caused James to swerve. "

"Bastard," You mutter irritatingly and ask John how he's feeling. So far he's only shaken his head which gives away the obvious. Freddie and Roger return promptly with the kit, a damp cloth and a glass of lukewarm water to ease some heat into John's shivering body.

"Deaky, you'll be fine." Freddie coaxes softly in his ear to alleviate him of his current uneasiness, accidentally nudging his afflicted arm and earning a quick grunt from John. You tell the boys to dry themselves in the bathroom while you take care of him from there.

Some time later after letting him take an antipyretic to reduce his fever and mopping the slippery floor, John insists that the boys go ahead as they have a hectic studio session to push through tomorrow. You've assured them that you'll take care of him and they leave him under your unrelenting watch to which, of course, John cocks a slick eyebrow at in amusement.

Since he's feeling quite under the weather, you'll have to conjure up an activity to keep yourselves entertained through the evening deluge as the night is barely young and neither of you can sleep.

"Want to watch a film?" You crouch carefully between his legs, your elbows propped up on either of his thighs.

"And a cup of tea too, love." He smiles and you rise up to kiss him chastely before heading to the kitchen heat up the kettle.

Halfway through having it whistle, a clap of thunder followed by a power outage seizes all your chances of going through a movie night and you hear John scream briefly from the living room at the sudden spread of darkness.

He's always been that jumpy– and it cracks you up in the slightest.

The kettle whistles and you grab a lamp from under the sink to light up your space as you make John a cup, figuring it would be a hassle if you'd include one for you.

Speed walking to the living room with the lit lamp and his cup in your hands, you worry that he might've jerked his leg and disturbed the wound, rushing to him hastily and panting upon stepping foot into the space.

"John, are you okay? Are you hurt?" Lifting up the lamp to shed some light on him, you find him hugging a throw pillow with his head down, nodding.

He's so vulnerable like this and his position just craves for your hold. A tender smile forms on your lips as you position the lamp next to the couch and the cup on the coffee table within arm's reach.

"I didn't startle you with my fiendish screech, did I?" He looks up at you bashfully through his fluttering lashes, the light spilling from the lamp emphasizing the build of his nose and the refined curves of his lips.

Albeit a little frightened, his soft features outstands the weak shadows cast by them against the low light; giving him a delicate yet fascinatingly heartwarming image that just thaws your heart from the bottom up.

You shake your head and take the space next to him crossing your legs and weaving your fingers with his, brushing your lips over his knuckles. "Nothing's ever fiendish with you, Deaks."

He turns his head to you and smiles back, his lips pressed firm together almost in a pout. "Hmm, thank you for taking care of me. I'm sorry that I had to come home like this. We would've had an easier night, you and me. Don't worry though, a few days and I'll be able to get back out there."

"I'm sure you will and don't be sorry, the important thing is that you're home to spend this gloomy, powerless night with. Besides," you shift in your space and turn your body towards him, the distance between your faces sealing, "despite your rashes, I could use some body heat."

As tempted as you are to do some things with him that don't involve making him scream out bloody murder at the nudge of his dressed rashes, the corner of his lips rise and he shifts closer to you, planting a long kiss on your lips. You giggle into it as he begins chewing on your bottom lip and tugging playfully on it, his hands creeping their way to the back of your neck to draw you in deeper.

"Mmm, John- baby, not tonight. You're badly hurt and with a growing fever." You remind him as you pull away but not far enough to not feel his hot breath fan against your lips.

"You said you needed some body heat."

Your throw your head back in a giggle. "Not in that manner, silly. I'd love to but I don't wanna add to your injuries."

He pouts and his eyes narrow to lazy slits, sighing in defeat. "You're the best kind of medicine for me."

You cock a brow at him. "Yeah?"

"Yeah."

"Alright, lover boy. We could go for a quick round but for now," you rest your head carefully on his lap and gaze up at him from that angle, his eyes gleaming in a pale glow against the low light as he peers down at you, his hand tangling itself in your hair, "why don't you sing us a little song to lighten the mood?"

Knowing very well that doing so was never his strong suit, he gives you an implying look yet you softly encourage him to go for it– with you being the only one who's going to enjoy the first-hand privilege. You know he can sing, he just doesn't have the confidence to push it out of him. His talking voice is already soothing, how much more if it were his singing voice?

"Y/N, come on. You know I can't-"

"John."

"But I have a fever, as you said."

"You do but you sound fine. When did an injury ever stop you from playing bass?" And you're definitely referring to the time he stuck his hand through a glass window drunk and had to get a few stitches afterwards. He stares down at you as he contemplates on it, drawing a deep breath in to start.

"Tonight the darkness seems so deep and silent stars watch as we sleep. The drifter cross the sky, never stop to wonder why," he has his eyes shut during the first line but as he goes on, his eyes open to you in awe at the sound of him finally singing.

"Million eyes could never weep, she lies dreaming like a child. Here beside me all the while. She'll just dream away, until the break of day and gently wake me with a smile." The touch of his warm palm against your cheek as he loses himself in your eyes as he sings sends you up high in cloud nine. Here you are, hearing his mellifluous singing cut through the sound of the harsh storm, unable to believe that this man is actually yours.

"She makes me laugh. She makes me cry. She brings down and takes me high. She fills my life and makes it real. No matter what she does, she makes me feel." And you are his. The air hangs thin between you both as he swallows upon finishing, just anticipating for your reaction. "Y/N?"

With no words to describe what he's made you feel all over again with his singing, you lift your head up to meet his lips and hook your arms around his neck to haul him in deeper. His skin flushed against yours feels heated, literally and it could be from his high body temperature. He whimpers into your mouth and shuts his eyes as he adjusts himself gingerly to feel you better while avoiding grazing his afflicted arm and leg against a surface.

You break away slowly with barely any breaths slowed down, his smile further radiating as he caresses your cheek lovingly through the temporary darkness enveloping you. "You make me feel."

"God, John... I love you so much."

"I love you too, Y/N."

"And I promise, the mark of your singing will remain sacred in this house." You put your hand up as a sign of swearing and he chuckles softly, brushing his thumb delicately over your cheek. "I honestly sound better when I'm looking at you. You really are my best medicine."

With his attention firmly set on you for the night, there's no way in the world he's going to touch the now cooling tea on the coffee table.

IOI is the first group in Mnet’s “Produce 101” series. Started back in May 2016 and disbanded in January 2017, IOI was only promoted for a little over eight months, which is too soon for fans of the group, who never even got their own fandom name. .

Undoubtedly, many fans are still missing IOI after four years. Now that each IOI member has established their career, here are the current activities of each of the 11 former members of the group!

1. Kim Sejong

After the dissolution of IOI, Kim Sejong continued his activities as a member of Gugudan. In addition to her activities with Gugudan, she began her solo career – releasing solo songs, appearing in several shows, as well as becoming an actress.

With Gugudan disbanded, Kim Sejong turned her attention to promoting her singles. Most recently, she released her second mini-album “I Am” on March 29, 2021, and renewed her contract with Jellyfish Entertainment on May 11. From June 7 to August 22, Kim Sejong will appear in the musical “Red Book,” and will star in the upcoming SBS drama “A Business Proposal.”

On July 23, Kim Sejong released her digital single “Baby I Love You”.

2. Lim Nyong

Lim Nyong debuted as a member of Pristine and their sub-unit Pristine V. However, the group disbanded in 2019 and Lim Nyong eventually left the label.

In 2020, he started his acting career with a supporting role in TVN’s “Flower of Evil”. He landed his first lead role in 2021 with the web-drama “Summer Guys” and lent his voice to OST. Since then, she has been appearing in shows and movies, as well as singing OSTs.

In the following August, Lim Nyeong will appear in the musical “I Love You”.

3. Kim Sohe

Since the end of Kim Sohe’s activities with IOI, she has pursued her acting career, for which she was originally training. She has appeared in plays and movies such as “Best Chicken,” “Moonlight Winter,” “How to Buy a Friend,” and more.

Recently, she featured in the web-drama “Ask Miss Shin” and will be seen in the upcoming film “Every Bucket List”.

4. Kim Chung

Kim Chunga became a successful solo artist after promoting IOI, releasing several hit songs and albums, which charted several times such as “Roller Coaster,” “Gotta Go,” “Snapping,” “Stay Tonight,” “Bicycle,” and many more. stay on top. more. He also collaborated with other artists and lent his voice to drama OSTs as well. He also made guest appearances on the show.

Recently, Kim Chunga released her studio album “Querencia” and featured in Ren’s “Why Don’t We”.

5. Choi Yujung

Choi Yujung debuted as the lead rapper of Wei Makey and the special four-man project group WJMK. In addition to his group activities, Choi Yujung also appeared on a variety of shows, such as “Secret Uni,” “My Mad Beauty 3,” “The Gushinas,” and “V1.”

Her most recent role as an actress was playing the lead role in Coke TV’s “Mello Not Solo”. She is currently a cast member of iHQ’s “Spicy Girls”.

6. Jung Chaeyeon

Jang Cheon became DIA’s deputy vocalist, and is currently rumored to be preparing to return sometime in the second half of 2021. His most recent comeback was a year ago with his sixth mini-album “Fool 4 Seasons”.

In addition to his group’s activities, Jang Cheon has appeared and starred in several plays, such as “Reunited Worlds,” “To Jenny,” “Marry Me Now,” and “My First First Love.” She is also scheduled to appear in the upcoming KBS2 drama “Yonemo” to be aired in September.

7. Kang Min

After IOI, Kang Mina also debuted as a member of Gugudan. In 2017, she began her career as an actress with a role in “Children of the 20th Century”. She also starred in her first lead role in the TVN drama “History of Walking Upright”. Since then, she has appeared in other hit dramas with lead and supporting roles.

Kang Mina will star in the upcoming KBS2 drama “When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon”, which will air in the second half of 2021.

Yoo Yeonjung became the 13th and youngest member of Cosmic Girls. In addition to her activities with the group, she also lent her voice to several OSTs. 24k Magic: Ang Katuparan ng mga Pangarap :)

Alam naman ata ng lahat na super fan ako ni Bruno ever since. Doo-wops and Hooligans era pa lang, sinusubaybayan ko na siya. Ako pa naman yung tipo na maraming idol, pero eventually nawawala din naman. Pero sa kanya lang talaga ako tumagal hahahaha, na minahal ko lahat ng kanta niya, maski mga unreleased. Yung di ako magsasawa na pakinggan yung mga album niya ng paulit-ulit. Dahil sa kanya naging active ako sa twitter, nagkaroon ng mga kaibigan di lang dito sa Pinas kundi pati mga intl hooligans. Dahil din sa kanya mas naappreciate ko yung iba pang genre (kasi stick lang talaga ako sa American Pop Music nun haha,) So heto na nga, after 8 years!! Finally!! Sa wakas!! Nasaksihan ko na siyang magperform ng live.

DW&H Tour pa lang, gusto ko na siya mapanood. Kaso nag-aaral pa lang ako nun. Di naman kayang suportahan ng pamilya ko yung mga ganun kaya ayan, hanggang Moonshine Jungle Tour, team bahay ako. Isinumpa ko na sa susunod niyang pagbabalik dito sa Pilipinas, I should be there! Buti na lang nung nag-announce na siya ng tour, naka-graduate na ko. Though wala pa akong trabaho nung ticket selling hehe. Salamat sa tita ko!!! Nagrequest ako kung pwede yun na lang graduation gift ko kahit Gen Ad lang, at ayun!! Nung araw ng ticket selling mangiyak-iyak na ko kasi alas onse pa lang, sold out na lahat ng tickets. Alas dos ng hapon nung may mag open na tatlong slot sa Gen Ad, at yun ang nakuha namin! Thank you Lord kasi sa dinami-dami ng pumila para sa ticket, isa ako sa pinagpala na mapagkalooban.

Pero even though na may tix na ko, nagsasasali pa rin ako sa pa-raffle ng mga sponsors. Kahit naiinis ako kasi isa sila sa dahilan kung bakit naubos agad ang tickets, go lang kasi di ba malay mo manalo ako. VIP din yun. Kaso sa pitong sinalihan ko, di ako pinalad haha. Pero nanalo naman ako ng merch, consolation lang.

At heto na, ang mismong araw ng concert!

Nag-half day lang ako sa opisina. Mga 5PM bumiyahe na ako pa-MOA Arena. Inantay ko si Jenina, college friend ko na hooligan din (btw nakilala ko muna siya sa fandom bago ko naging classmate hehe). Pagpasok namin, ikot ikot muna, papicture, etc. Pagdating namin sa mismong arena, ginoosebumps ako (tama ba, basta yung nanindig ang balahibo ko. Una first time ko lang manonood ng legit na concert (kasi puro music festival lang napupuntahan ko). Pangalawa, first time ko talaga makapasok ng MOA Arena haha dati nangangarap lang ako nun sa labas ng MOA, now I'm here!! Pangatlo, ang daming tao as in, na-overwhelm ako kasi ganito na pala ka-famous si kuya mo Bruno. Wow. Wow talaga. Yung dati akala ko konti lang ang fans niya dito sa Pilipinas, madami pala. Di lang talaga kami active sa mga fan-voting at pa-trending sa twitter. Tapos yung market niya, mapa-bata, matanda, lalaki, babae, nakaka-proud. Ang layo na ng narating niya!! Grabe no, ang galing galing niya kasi talaga. Medyo selfish lang ako kasi naisip ko, hala yung iba nakiki-fan lang, tas sila pa yung nasa VIP (lalo na mga artista). Napagkaitan kaming mga legit na hooligan na sumusuporta sa kanya mula pa nung umpisa.

Balik tayo sa mismong concert, nagstart na yung Jabbawockeez, ang galing galing din nila huhu. #Blessed din kasi nakita ko sila magperform live. Then after an hour, tumaas na ang kurtina. Pop pop it's showtime!!! Sunod-sunod niya nang pinerform yung mga hits niya. Yung feeling na ang saya saya ng environment, pero iyak ka ng iyak hahahaha! Sobrang tuwa ko lang kasi natupad na yung pangarap ko. Yung tipong pwede na ko mamatay kasi nakita ko na si Bruno. Hehe charot lang. So ayun nga, nagsasasayaw at kanta lang ako nung time na yun, parang nasa isang party lang kayong 20,000 na tao dun. Nakatayo lang ako the whole concert. At hinawakan ko lang ulit yung phone ko nung When I Was Your Man kasi yun lang yung pahinga ko sa pagsayaw haha. Di ako nagpicture/video kasi una, sumasayaw ako at tumitili, panget lang yung quality ng magiging kuha ko. Pangalawa, Gen Ad lang ako, malabo si Bruno sa phone ko, pero pramis kahit nasa dulo ako, kitang-kita ko siya ng malinaw. Salamat sa mga mata ko na malinaw pa rin hahahaha. Pangatlo, ayaw na ayaw ni Bruno na lam mo yun, kumakanta ka, sumasayaw ka dapat, pero nagvivideo ka lang the whole time?? Kasi feeling niya di mo naeenjoy yung show niya. Yun nga yung purpose ng tour niya eh, yung mapasaya tayo, magbigay ng entertainment. Tsaka sayang naman na nagbayad ka ng 23k para lang magcameraman? Sulitin mo bayad mo huyyy. Hahahaha.

Grabe pa rin yung goosebumps ko, lalo na nung Calling All My Lovelies (maygahd yun talaga ang pinakafavorite ko sa album niya), dati kilig na kilig ako pag nagpipiano siya, ngayon maa kinikilig na ko pag electric guitar ang gamit niya. Yung umpisang tunog pa lang, nagtititili na ko kasi sa wakas, makikita ko na ng live yung CAML. Sayang nga lang wala si Phil, kulang talaga yung tunog pag wala siya eh. Pero napahanga ako ni Jimmy, kasi dati tumutugtog lang siya, ngayon nagsesecond voice na siya wow. Tsaka si Kam din di ba grabe improvements nila. At sobrang galing talaga ng band!!! Pramis!!! Mas magagaling pa sila sa mga sikat na performers ngayon. Di biro yung tinutugtog mo yung instrument mo, habang sumasayaw (sabay sabay sila non galing talaga), tas nagsesecond voice pa. Matataas pa naman yung mga part na kinakanta nila (yung What the Hell!!) o yun na nga balik tayo sa CAML, di ko inasahan yung pagtatagalog ni Bruno. Kumakanta na ko nun ng "I'd rather be with youuu, yeah" Nung biglang nagsalita at kinanta niya, "Miss na kita mahal" shet shet shet kahit slang siya kinilig ako. First time niya lang ata gumamit ng endearment na "mahal" kasi baby talaga tawag niya sakin eh charot. Ang sweet kaya, mahal OMG miss na din kita mahal!! Ang haba na ng kwento ko no hahahaha basta ayun, kahit ilang beses ko nang napapanood mga performance niya at tours sa ibang bansa, parang first time feels pa rin na makita ko iperform niya dito yung mga kanta niya.

Ang downside lang eh una, bitin na bitin ako mamsh, parang ang bilis nung mga pangyayari haha hala tapos na agad? I need more of Bruno. Pero wala eh ganun talaga. Yun nga mas better pa rin MJT dahil din siguro mas marami yung interaction niya with the fans. Tas inaabangan ko yung Grenade, Gorilla, Straight Up and Down. Bakit wala? Yung Too Good to Say Goodbye din fave ko kaso di niya na pineperform yun.

At narealize ko lang din, pagod na pagod na si Bruno. Pero di mo yun makikita sa kanya kasi parang bibong bata siya sa stage eh hataw pa rin ng hataw, tas nabirit pa, ibang klase talaga ang energy niya. Pero kasi isang araw lang yung pagitan ng mga concert niya sa ibat ibang bansa. May 1 sa Thailand. May 3 and 4 Pilipinas. May 6 and 7 Hongkong. See? Isang taon na din siyang nasa tour. After neto balik America ulit ang tour. Yung feeling na gusto mo na siya pagpahingahin, kaso mamimiss mo siya kasi magiging inactive na naman siya sa industry, ilang buwan na namang walang balita sa kanya.

After ng tour, di natin alam kung kailan ulit siya maglalabas ng bagong album. Mahaba-haba na naman ang break niya. Nagjoke nga siya eh sabi 10 years daw siya pahinga. Kaya yung moment na yun nung concert, ninanamnam ko na. Kasi di ko alam kung kailan ulit ang susunod.

Grabe no, parang sa iba normal na lang na makanood ng concert. Pero sakin malaking bagay na to haha kasi tagal ko talaga hinangad yung ganitong pagkakataon. Lol kaya ganyan title ng post ko. May na-check-an na sa bucket list ko sa wakas! Yung feeling na, after all the hardwork I've done throughout my life, okay lang kahit yun lang yung sukli hahahaha. Finally! I'm proud that I stan someone who is very talented!!!

Ang haba na ng hanash ko haha, pero thank you talaga Bruno, for being my happy pill miss na kita mahal. Hahahaha.

Taylor Alison Swift is a 31 years old, American singer/songwriter who received multi-Grammy awards and became the youngest artist in history to receive the Grammy Award for Album of the Year at the age of 20 in 2010. She was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, on December 13, 1989. American pop and country music whose tales of young heartache enjoyed mainstream popularity in the early 21st century. She was born to Andrea Gardner Swift and Scott Kingsley Swift. Her father was a stockbroker, while Taylor and her younger brother, Austin, were brought up by a homemaker's mother. Her ancestry includes German and English, also as some Scottish, Irish, Welsh and 1/16th Italian. She attended Hendersonville High School, but after two years, she moved to the Aaron Academy, which could better suit her homeschooling touring schedule; she graduated a year early.

Her grandmother was an opera singer by trade, and soon she followed her grandmother's musical footsteps. She often visited Nashville, Tennessee, the country music capital, to pursue her music career. She co-wrote songs there and attempted to land a recording contract. Noting her devotion, in an effort to further continue her career, they moved to nearby Hendersonville, Tennessee.
