Trump’s Dominos
According to allegations by the New York State, Attorney General, Trump has been engaged in serial fraud for decades.
But neither the Feds nor any State agency had the beginnings of an understanding of what was criminally amiss.
Until Trump ripped open the curtain for them.
These appear to be the dominoes lead to his catastrophic reversal of fortune.
Domino #1 October 2016. Trump has Michael Cohen set up a corporation with the purposes of paying hush money to cover up his adult ties
Parenthetically in 2016 he could simply have “a gentleman doesn’t comment on such matters”. If he’d not made the Stormy Daniel payment.
Instead Trump himself knocked over the domino.
Domino #2 October 2016.: Cohen makes an apparently aborted offer to pay hush money to Karen McDougal. The story of Trump with McDougal subsequently appears in the Wall Street Journal prior to the election of 2016.
Domino #3 October 2016: Stormy Daniels retains Karen McDougal’s attorney. Michael Cohen does make a hush money payment of $130,000 to Ms. Daniels.
Domino #4 January 2018: The Stormy Daniels story breaks in the Wall Street Journal.
Domino #5 April 2018: Paying hush money payment is apparently a violation of federal election laws regarding interference. Accordingly, the FBI executed a search warrant for Michael Collins records.
Domino #6 March 2019: Michael Cohen trial opens for charges of tax fraud for unreported income from the Trump organization, as well as election interference.
Domino #7 March 2019: federal prosecutors serve a subpoena on Trump CFO Alan Weisselberg who testifies under a grant of partial immunity from federal prosecution.
Domino #8 August 2019: Michael Cohen pleads guilty to tax fraud and election interference. CONVICTION #1 (Criminal Tax fraud resulting from payments by Trump Organization.
Domino #9 2019: based on testimony by Weisselberg, the state of New York, seeks the Trump organization financial records
Domino #10 July 2020: the Supreme Court ruled the trump organization tax records to be handed over to the Manhattan district attorney.
Domino #11 2020. NY State District of Manhattan opens criminal investigation into the Trump organization. Subpoenas bank records.
Domino #12 mid-2021: NY State Attorney General opens civil executive law case for fraudulent activities.
Domino # 13 August 2022: Alan Weisselberg pleads guilty to 15 counts of criminal tax fraud. As part of his plea agreement agree to testify against the trump organization. CONVICTION #2 (Criminal Tax Fraud)
Domino #14 December, 2022: Two Trump companies convicted of criminal fraud. CONVICTION #3 (Criminal Tax Fraud).
Domino #15 January 2023: Further criminal proceedings set in Manhattan District.
Domino #16. September 2023: Judge rules for the State in a Motion for Summary Judgment for the seizure and disgorgement of Trump business assets due to systemic fraud FOUND LIABLE #1. (Fraud).
SCORECARD:
Trump Losses:
Involvement by the Trump Organization in the three criminal fraud convictions noted above.
Being found Liable for Fraud in the civil Executive Law case.
PLUS the dissolution of the Trump Charity and the 19 Admissions of Wrongdoing as part of that resolution.
Innumerable appeals rebuffed I ncluding to the US Supreme Court.
Trump Wins: ZERO

Pinta was built 16 years later to accompany the Nina. Both ships were built in Valenca, Brazil, by eighth-generation Portuguese shipwrights. It took a 20-person crew 32 months to build the Nina and 36 months to build the Pinta. It is a larger version of the archetypal caravel. Historians consider the caravel the Space Shuttle of the fifteenth century.
The Nina and Pinta set sail in 1492 with crews of 24 and 26 people, respectively. Today, each ship usually has crews of at least 10.
While in port, the general public is invited to visit the ships for a walk-aboard, self-guided tour. Admission charges are $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and $6.50 for students 5–16. Children 4 and under are Free. The ships are open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. No reservations necessary.

By DAVE LAVENDER The Herald-Dispatch [email protected]
Sep 19, 2018
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — You can step aboard a bit of maritime history starting this weekend as replicas of The Nina and Pinta — two of three ships Christopher Columbus guided from Spain to The Bahamas in 1492 — will be docked at Point Park, 113 Ann St., Parkersburg from Friday, Sept. 21 until their departure early Wednesday, morning Sept. 26.
The ships open to the general public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 through Tuesday, Sept. 25. The boats will also be making seven other Ohio River port city stops this fall through mid November.
The closest it will be to Huntington is a Friday, Nov. 9 through Monday, Nov. 18 stay at Ashland Port & Riverfront Park 50 15th St., Ashland. Other stops are: Sept. 28 through Oct. 2, at Heritage Port in Wheeling, W.Va., Oct. 4-16 at Station Square in Pittsburgh, Pa., Oct. 19-23 at Marietta Harbor, Marietta, Ohio, Oct. 26-31 at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston, W.Va., Nov. 2-7 at City Park Dock in Gallipolis, Ohio, Nov. 9-18 at Ashland Port and Riverfront Park, and then Nov. 20-22 at Limestone Landing Park in Maysville, Ky.
This is the first stop in Ashland since 2015. The boats were last in Huntington in 2012.
The Nina replica was built first when American engineer and maritime historian John Patrick Sarsfield was hired by the Virgin Islands-based Columbus Foundation to design and construct the 15th Century Caravel in 1988. The Nina was built by hand and without the use of power tools and is considered to be the most historically correct Columbus Replica ever built.
Co-designer Jonathon Nance, a British maritime historian and lead project researcher, produced the Nina's 1,919 square foot sail plan.

The Embassy opened at its Jerusalem location on May 14, 2018, the 70th Gregorian anniversary of the creation of the modern State of Israel.[3] It was relocated from its previous site in Tel Aviv by the Trump Administration and is situated in what was previously the former US Consulate in the Arnona neighborhood.[4] The opening prayer was delivered by the Evangelical Reverend Robert Jeffress, and the closing prayer was given by the Evangelical Reverend John C. Hagee.[5][6][7] The move came 23 years after the passage of the Jerusalem Embassy Act of October 23, 1995, which set a deadline of May 31, 1999, for the move.[8] The Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations had all deferred the move. Eugene Kontorovich claimed that the decision to shift the US embassy to this area is tantamount to the United States recognizing Israeli sovereignty over land that it captured in the Six-Day War in 1967.[9]
-
On October 18, 2018, United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that the US would be merging the Embassy and US Consulate General in Jerusalem into a single mission. The United States will continue conducting relations with the West Bank and Gaza through a newly created Palestinian Affairs Unit which will operate from the Agron Site of the Jerusalem Embassy.[1] While the decision was praised by the Israeli Government, Palestinian officials criticized the Trump Administration for siding with Israel's claim to Jerusalem and "Greater Israel".[11][12][13][14] In February 2019, it was announced that the US Consulate General would be formally merging into the US Embassy in March.[15][16][17] On March 4, 2019, the US Consulate-General was formally integrated into the US Embassy in Jerusalem. The Consulate-General's Agron Street premises were revamped as the Palestinian Affairs Unit, which would handle many of the Consulate-General's former functions. This ends the US practice of assigning separate diplomatic missions to the Israelis and Palestinians.[18][19][20][21] In response, Saeb Erekat, the secretary-general of the Palestine Liberation Organization's executive committee called for the international community to boycott the new Palestinian Affairs Unit.[22][23][24] Erekat's sentiments were echoed by fellow Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi, who denounced the merger of the Consulate General as "political assault on Palestinian rights and identity".[25]
-
On December 18, 2017, in a 14–1 vote, the US vetoed a United Nations Security Council draft resolution on the matter[27] then on December 21, 2017, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution by a 128–9 vote.[28] Palestinian officials warned that it could lead to an "inactive war" and violent protests.[29] The Embassy's opening coincided with the bloodiest day of the 2018 Gaza border protests, with more than 57 Palestinians killed.[30][31] French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian said, "This decision contravenes international law and in particular the resolutions of the Security Council and the UN General Assembly".[30] On September 28, 2018, Palestine brought a case against the US at the International Court of Justice alleging that the relocation of the embassy breached the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and other rules of general international law. The International Court of Justice asked for briefs covering jurisdiction and admissibility, Palestine's submission by May 15, 2019, the US by November 15, 2019.[32] The opening of a new US Embassy in Jerusalem led two other countries to move their embassies to Jerusalem. Two days after the US Embassy opened, Guatemala moved its embassy to Israel back to Jerusalem.[33] Paraguay also opened a Jerusalem embassy to Israel, citing the US precedent.[34] Newly elected Paraguayan President Mario Abdo Benítez decided to relocate the Paraguayan embassy back to Tel Aviv.[35]

Facts of disability:
Disability is an essential component of the human experience. It is caused by the combination of health disorders such as dementia, blindness, or spinal cord damage, as well as a variety of environmental and personal circumstances. Today, an estimated 1.3 billion individuals, or 16% of the world population, have a major impairment. This figure is rising due to an increase in noncommunicable illnesses and individuals living longer lives. Persons with disabilities are a varied population, and characteristics such as gender, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, colour, ethnicity, and economic condition all have an impact on their life experiences and health requirements. People with impairments die younger, have lower health, and have greater limits in daily functioning than others.
An estimated 1.3 billion people experience significant disability. This represents 16% of the world’s population, or 1 in 6 of us.
Some persons with disabilities die up to 20 years earlier than those without disabilities.
Persons with disabilities have twice the risk of developing conditions such as depression, asthma, diabetes, stroke, obesity or poor oral health.
Persons with disabilities face many health inequities.
Persons with disabilities find inaccessible and unaffordable transportation 15 times more difficult than for those without disabilities.
Health inequities arise from unfair conditions faced by persons with disabilities, including stigma, discrimination, poverty, exclusion from education and employment, and barriers faced in the health system itself.
Factors contributing to health inequities
Health inequities arise from unfair conditions faced by persons with disabilities.
Structural factors: Persons with disabilities experience ableism, stigma and discrimination in all facets of life, which affects their physical and mental health. Laws and policies may deny them the right to make their own decisions and allow a range of harmful practices in the health sector, such as forced sterilization, involuntary admission and treatment, and even institutionalization.
Social determinants of health: Poverty, exclusion from education and employment, and poor living conditions all add to the risk of poor health and unmet health care needs among persons with disabilities. Gaps in formal social support mechanisms mean that persons with disabilities are reliant on support from family members to engage in health and community activities, which not only disadvantages them but also their caregivers (who are mostly women and girls).
Risk factors: Persons with disabilities are more likely to have risk factors for non-communicable diseases, such as smoking, poor diet, alcohol consumption and a lack of physical activity. A key reason for this is that they are often left out of public health interventions.
Health system: Persons with disabilities face barriers in all aspects of the health system. For example, a lack of knowledge, negative attitudes and discriminatory practices among healthcare workers; inaccessible health facilities and information; and lack of information or data collection and analysis on disability, all contribute to health inequities faced by this group.

The 2020 Extravaganja Fest, a celebration of all things cannabis, will be held at the Franklin County Fairgrounds on Sunday, April 19 from noon to 8 p.m.
The event is always held on the weekend closest to April 20 — a nod to the number 420 (or 4:20) which is closely associated with marijuana in pop culture.
Not only is this the first year that all cannabis is legal in MA, the 2020 Extravanganja celebration also comes with free admission, a welcome change from the $5 per person charge when the festival was held in Northampton.
The event is organized by the Cannabis Reform Coalition who expect a more open, relaxed celebration this year.
The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission has approved 14 licenses for marijuana businesses in Franklin County alone and more than 80 recreational marijuana shops statewide. With sales over $470 million since November 2018, business is booming!
Now in its 29th year, Extravaganja expects as many as 6,000 to 10,000 visitors if the weather is good. International perspective: an Indian student in Canada
Tumblr media
International student Aditi Singhal shares the reasons why she chose to study in Canada and how she moved there from her home in India
I was born and brought up in New Delhi, India, where I spent the first 17 years of my life as the single child of a working father and homemaker mother. I grew up in a good family and had great friends, so I wouldn’t say I grew up with the dream of leaving my country.
My journey toward an international education began when I was 15 years old, when my parents asked whether I might be interested in studying abroad.
Eventually, I developed the desire to pursue my undergraduate studies outside India. I started the process of attending countless education fairs and talking to representatives of anglophone universities in the UK, US, Canada and Australia.
The last two years of my high school required a lot of preparation such as taking the IELTS exams and SAT and filling out applications for my preferred universities. At the same time, I had my board exams in India, which are mandatory national-level exams that high school students have to pass to gain admission into colleges and universities.
In 2019, I started receiving admission offers from many universities. Keeping a lot of factors in mind, such as finances, the reputation of the institution, immigration regulations and opportunities for growth and employment, I accepted the offer from McGill University in Canada.
Soon enough, the results from my Indian board exams also arrived and I was shocked to find out that I scored an All India Rank 4 for the year 2018/19 among the millions of high school students who took the exam. Everyone in my family was elated and it was time to celebrate.
However, there were still many moving parts to finalise before I started my studies at McGill. First, we had to make the necessary financial arrangements.
McGill was kind enough to provide me with an entrance bursary along with the opportunity of future in-course financial aid and on-campus employment opportunities. My family arranged for the necessary funds for my first year of tuition and living costs and with that, I began the process of applying for my visa.
Studying at McGill required two levels of immigration approval – one at the provincial level (Québec Acceptance Certificate – CAQ) and one at the federal level (study permit). Once my CAQ was approved, I applied for my study permit with all the necessary documentation.
It felt as though the ship had been sailing smoothly until then. But then my study permit application was denied. I remember feeling like this was a major setback, especially when everything else seemed to be in place. I contacted the International Student Services (ISS) office at McGill to help me with my study permit application and I reapplied, waiting for the decision with bated breath.
Fortunately, this time the application was approved and I was now getting closer to my destination, with the final formalities of biometrics, medical check-ups, and visa stamping under way.
I finally arrived in Canada on 25 August 2019 when I was 17 years old. The first few days were packed with orientation activities, saying goodbye to my parents who had come to help me settle in, opening bank accounts, getting my social insurance number, exploring the area and making new friends.
Very soon, the semester began, and the pressure of my studies skyrocketed. I remember being overwhelmed and feeling like I didn’t have enough time for everything.
There were new challenges every day; challenges such as studying, living independently, managing finances, avoiding job or accommodation scams, the harsh Canadian winter, new social norms, and the inability to make friends in the beginning. Every step felt, and sometimes still feels, like a learning curve. My first year flew by in the blink of an eye, and only recently have I started to feel like life is slowing down.
I remember writing in my university applications that I wanted to be a “global citizen”. It didn’t mean a lot then but now I’m gradually grasping the gravity of this idea. Having experienced life in two different hemispheres of the world, I can say with certainty that there’s a lot more to come and to learn.
I’m about to graduate soon. I’ve held part-time employment at McGill student services for almost three years, I work at a research lab, I have friends and I’m doing well. So, if you are concerned about studying abroad or feel similar to how I did in the beginning, just remember that things will improve and there is always hope.

Amanda performs as a solo artist, a member of a women's contemporary folk band called Wildflower, and her Amanda Grace Band. Amanda does not claim a particular genre of music, and in doing so enjoys variety in her music and audiences. She has produced music drifting between folk and rock. With roots as a pianist her writing is thematically varied with an emphasis on melody and ballads wrapped in warm vocals. She’s released 7 albums. In 2016 she received a “Front Of Line” pass from The Voice. She continues to fully enjoy songwriting, releasing & performing original music while raising a family in the beautiful Mississippi River Valley.
After attending Winona State University she began a more intentional look at returning to music after her nephew was diagnosed with leukemia and she was pulled into his struggle. Bryce asked her to sing to him at the moment he passed away. That was her defining moment in her mind to open herself again to writing and performing. In 2010 she released a children's album inspired by his memories called, "Trains, Cars + A Trip To Mars." Soon after his father also passed away from a sudden brain aneurysm. Amanda wrote some songs from the experience and released, "Embrace" in 2012.
After a successful Kickstarter project, she released her first EP called, "Keeping Hearts" in June 2014. That month she appeared at Ed's No Name bar in Winona with her group Wildflower as the release event.
"Better Life" EP was released in December of 2017 with full length alternative “Rayne Angel” released in November of 2018. Rayne Angel is a flavorful and diverse full length alternative based album, and a truly Minnesota made album; all of the album captured in her own home. Recorded & produced by Fletch Archerd & Amanda Grace.
Her seventh album, “Please Dear Sun” was released in July of 2021 and is her most distinctly dissimilar album yet. The album focuses on humanity’s struggle with real and imagined, physical and mental confinement, as a result of the pandemic in 2020. The album was recorded in her home with Fletch Archerd (bassist/bandmate) and tracks mastered by Mike Milchener.
She has performed at The Mid West Music Festival at its inception. In 2015 and in 2018, she performed on the first day of the Wisconsin music and art festival, Ashley for the Arts. Wildflower joined the Boats & Bluegrass Festival in 2017 and her band played for Big Turn Festival. In 2019, her band performed at Big River Theater, Red Wing Arts Festival, and She Rocks Festival. With the great changes in the live music industry with Covid-19, she worked to move her music services online and joined forces with Land Of 10,000 Streams Festival in 2020.

Suicide Over Canada Study Visa Focuses Back on Delays, Rejection Rates
A popular destination is Canada because of its generally welcoming immigration laws. As a result, there are higher expectations and more frustration.
Tumblr media
New Delhi, Jalandhar, and Chandigarh: The suicide of a 23-year-old man in Haryana serves as a stark warning amid lengthy lines and frequent refusals of visa requests by Canada and other nations, which are primarily attributable to Covid-caused lockdowns, among other factors.
Western nations, where many students want to start lives after graduation, have stated they are prioritizing study-visa applications and hiring new staff, but the wait times can be months long. Losing money and motivation can result from a delayed rejection. There are also reports that rejection rates are rising in Canada.
At the moment, the wait time for a visa to the US can exceed a year. The average wait time for a visa in Canada is up to six months; however, even for a student visa, the wait is triple what it was before Covid. And that concludes today’s update from the website of the Canadian government. If an applicant’s application became stalled during one of Covid’s recent surges, they have had to wait longer.
While tourists might not care, family visits or business trips are worsened by this. The worst affected are students, who in some cases begin their online courses from here but lose their admission — and money — if their visa applications are denied.
Particularly in Canada, there has been an unusual increase in the refusal rate, which has consultants worried as well. A committee of the Canadian Parliament reported in May that 41% of applications for study permits from India were turned down in 2021. It was previously 25–35 percent, according to data from 2018.
The rejections seem even more significant in absolute numbers because the number of applications has been increasing, except for a decline in 2020 caused by Covid peaks. A decision was made on more than 3 lakh applications last year, and as the world continues to open up, the number is expected to reach 4 lakh this year.
High Commissioner for Canada to India, Cameron MacKay, has stated:
“Unfortunately, there is a backlog of visa applications in every category due to the post-Covid pandemic. There is a significant backlog. To overcome it, we are putting more resources and personnel into it.”
Allegations of discrimination against people from Asia and Africa have been made. But according to the Canadian high commission, that is untrue. “Regardless of the country of origin, all applications from around the world are evaluated equally and by the same standards. Applications for study permits are given priority to prospective students going to a province or territory with a Covid-19 readiness plan “said a spokesperson.
Students and families, who make up the majority of those who submit these applications, are particularly anxious about the wait time and the possibility of rejection in Punjab and the area around it.
Neetu Yadav, who lives in Jalandhar, a city in Punjab’s Doaba region that is considered to be in the “NRI belt,” said, “My brother had applied for a student visa for a course that starts next month, but we don’t have a visa yet.” “There can be no guarantee of a spot in the next session, even if we defer the admission,” she continued.
A Rupnagar-based visa expert named Satnam Singh said, “Currently, Canada has a backlog of over 24 lakh immigration applications across all categories. The local government keeps claiming that it is hiring new personnel to handle the backlog of cases. But persuading parents and students is difficult for us.”
The Voyage visa consultant is updated to all countries’ immigration rules, guidelines, and timings regarding visa application acceptance. Students can consult with us on all types of study visas and for all countries, especially we are the Canada study visa consultants in kurali.
Canada is a popular travel destination because of its generally welcoming immigration laws. As a result, both expectations and frustration are higher.
