Curso de Administracion Deportiva en Las Varillas

En la ciudad de Las Varillas Córdoba sede administrativa de la Confederación Argentina de Atletismo se desarrolló desde el 31 de mayo al de 3 junio el curso de Curso de Administracion Deportiva en asociación entre el Comité Olímpico Argentino y la propia Confederación Argentina de Atletismo. Es esta una capacitación propuesta por Solidaridad Olímpica y de la cual fueron directores Andrea Martínez Funes y Fernando Molinero. El curso estuvo destinado a dirigentes deportivos, miembros de entidades deportivas gubernamentales y privadas, profesionales asociados al deporte, docentes de Educación Física y autoridades de clubes, escuelas y grupos deportivos, en total 51 que quieren formarse y/o ampliar sus conocimientos técnicos en administración deportiva. Debe señalarse que la participación de personas relacionadas con el atletismo fue muy numerosa. Estuvieron presente varias presidentes de federaciones provinciales de atletismo y otras personas que cumplen importantes funciones en este deporte. Campeonato Sudamericano de Trail y Montaña: Cinco países darán pelea

(Por Fede Sánchez Parodi).- Cinco serán los países participantes del Campeonato Sudamericano de Trail y Montaña que se desarrollará en San Juan, Argentina. Con una presencia masiva de atletas locales, Venezuela y Chile buscarán también gran protagonismo en los podios. A su vez, Perú y Bolivia, en menor medida y con contados representantes, también serán parte del Campeonato Sudamericano, que se llevará adelante en la carrera Tierra de Gigantes, prueba ideada por el corredor Franco Oro y que en su segunda edición tendrá a más de mil competidores. El evento sudamericano tendrá las distancias de 85 kilómetros (ultra trail), 35 (Long distance), 12k (Classic) y Kilómetro Vertical. Además, en San Juan también estará en juego la prueba de 6k. Este Campeonato Sudamericano será clasificatorio para el Campeonato Mundial, a realizarse en Tailandia. Los detalles Las distancias de esta edición de Tierra de Gigantes serán: Kilómetro vertical, 6K, 12K, 21K, 35K, 55K, 85K. “Escribir. No puedo. Nadie puede. Hay que decirlo: no se puede”. Me escudo detrás de Marguerite Duras, de sus palabras como hechizos, para justificarme. Frente al documento en blanco, el lienzo (la inmensidad vacía, la posibilidad infinita), quiero escribir, pero me sale… no, no me sale espuma: me sale nada. Yo también quiero decir muchísimo y me enredo, me atasco, tropiezo. Sale nada, ríen. Como piensa el intranquilo y venenoso Guido Anselmi en Ocho y medio, tal vez no haya nada que decir, pero aún así quiero decirlo todo. Y lo que sale es esta confusión, esta suma de inquietudes y ansiedades y torpezas que soy.

Desde la soledad de su casa de Neauphle, en su habitación de armarios azules, frente a una ventana determinada, ante una mesa determinada, sobre una silla determinada, bajo los ritos de la tinta negra, Duras dice que no tener argumento, no tener historia, estar desnudo de trama, es la única forma de encontrarse. “Antes de escribir no sabemos nada de lo que vamos a escribir”. No me acomodo en este procedimiento: no puedo sentarme a escribir sin saber qué quiero contar, qué historia pide ser escrita; sin saber hacia dónde. “En la punta de la palabra está la palabra”. “Es allí adonde voy”, respondo, junto a Clarice Lispector, como hacen los fieles en misa cuando el cura concluye el salmo. Voy hacia la punta de esa palabra que me lleva a otra, y así. ¿Pero estaré yo del otro lado? ¿Me encontraré?

La crisis de la que intento dar testimonio podría describirse como un divorcio de la ficción, del arte de narrar. No hay trama posible, no encuentro historia, no puedo pensar en términos de argumento. Pienso (y siento y me muevo) en espiral, y aún así no hay iluminación, querida Virginia. Podría justificarse con el aislamiento, con la imposibilidad de salir en busca de conversaciones ajenas, en bares, en colectivos, de salir a la pesca de anécdotas, gestos, movimientos, camuflada de voyeur, y estaría mintiendo porque no soy, porque nunca he sido, una persona que escribe tan pegada a la escucha, a la mirada, a pesar de mis subrayados de Hebe Uhart y de Flannery O’Connor, a pesar de ser una persona que se ha encaprichado con escribir cuentos. Podría valerme de la memoria, claro, de los recuerdos, de la “invención del recuerdo”, mejor dicho (citando a Silvina Ocampo), pero lo único que hay son fantasmas, huecos, vacíos; sólo hay silencios. Si soy honesta, no sé cuánto me interesa, cuánto me ha interesado, en verdad, contar historias; cuán arrojada me encuentro por esta motivación. La única certeza es que mi obsesión está en las palabras, en su materia, en sus sonidos; desde niña, como le sucedió a Dylan Thomas, supe que quería vivir con ellas, en ellas, que estaba a su merced. ¿Podré convertirme en una escritora de palabras y nada más?

“Es la clase de noche que hace que hombres y ríos estén más cerca”. Este verso de Raymond Carver me produce ganas de llorar: es por la combinación única de sus palabras, por la luz y el rigor, la delicia, la gloria y la rareza que producen. No puedo escribir y, mientras tanto, todos a mi alrededor escriben, todo se escribe.

Ayer, después de años, volví a leer a Borges, “Funes el memorioso”, y me pregunté: ¿cómo seguir después de esto? ¿Por qué? ¿Con qué sentido? Sale nada, cuando quiere salir todo: “todos los vástagos y racimos y frutos que comprende una parra”, los sueños, el fuego cambiante, las muchas caras del amor, los sabores y los sonidos, los olores, los paisajes, las sombras, las luces, los abrazos, los encuentros y las despedidas. “Escribir es imposible. Y sin embargo, se escribe”. Lo sé, Marguerite, lo sé. Mientras tanto, me aferro a la esperanza, como Carver, “todo cuadrado, todo gris”, mientras camina, dentro de sí mismo y por la orilla del río Paraná, de que algo se levante y salpique, de que algo salga a la superficie, y logre oírlo, y pueda seguir hacia delante.

Una palabra detrás de otra. Es allí adonde voy.

“Venez m'aider” is French for “come and help,” but also the distress signal “mayday” is a shortening of this phrase.

The nuance is that people are stuck in their financial or social status, more lit. “and die with the difference in wealth”.

Lit. “way of people,” but the meaning is meant to be a life led by morals.

I interpreted these three examples as related to Ramuda’s “pursuit” as metaphors. (paper scraps -> have to be gathered, but recipient is forgotten; material in labyrinth -> as in a game, you have to journey to find it; a white camelia that blooms forever -> a certain kind of “scientific” pursuit, parallels that Ramuda “stopped aging”).

Lit. “Badgers from the same hole,” an idiom for same type of people, usually applied to “bad guys,” but since Gentaro is saying it about himself, he’s using it in a self-deprecating way.

More lit. “How worthless,” but based on his character in this song, it seems Ramuda would find anything outside of his personal pursuit worthless.

The song often uses the structure “you ni” which is a common structure used at the end of making a wish (to a star, at a shrine, etc.). I like how the lyrics use this structure continuously throughout the song as well as the similar structure “you da.”

–> The bridge part with it’s “you ni” is kind of playing on this structure as well, but with “keep your feet forward” as a way to make the wish come true.

There are a lot of interesting lines in which homonyms are used though they have different meaning, so I think it’s interesting to see the pronunciation and the kanji as well.

Extra analysis (subjective, updating):

French lyrics point to two references with French sources –>

A Trip to the Moon (silent film) by Georges Méliès: a science fiction film about finding new horizons. Also, Dice’s line *monochrome window* as this film is in black in white as well as the film rollng sound at the beginning of the song. (Note: in Gentaro’s verse, “moon” is actually written in katagana, and by nature left open to interpretation.)

The Little Prince, a picture book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: the planet hopping as well how the planets are described in general, as well as finding “ridiculousness” at each planet. The prince also longs to return home. (Additionally, a flower, in this case a camellia, at does not age, i.e. does not die –> In The Little Prince, the prince wants to protect a rose he has fallen in love with. I think there are more meta connections in general to the Little Prince/Saint-Exupéry, but I’m going to stop here.)

“Stella by Starlight” most famously known as a jazz standard by Victor Young (Lyrics by Ned Washington) and featured in the film The Uninvited (1944), a horror film, but I think the reference is more to the standard itself which was revived in the 1960′s, performed by many famous jazz musicians, and sung by many famous singers. The lyrics are about a woman who is the object of affection of the songwriter. More recently, “Stella by Starlight” was also referenced in Hozier’s song “Almost (Sweet Music)” earlier this year.
