Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2023, Know The Entire List of Celebs and Films Honored At this International Film Festival
Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023 was hosted in Mumbai, wherein Alia won the best actress award for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Also, Ranbir Kapoor won the best actor for his role in the movie Brahmastra. However, it was Alia who collected the award on the behalf of her husband. Alia shared her picture posing with the trophy on her Instagram story, while Neetu Kapoor also shared to her Instagram screenshots of the two receiving the trophy.
The Kashmir Files by Vivek Agnihotri won the best film award, and Anupam Kher for this movie bagged the award for being the year’s most versatile actor. Varun Dhawan also had his share of the Critics best actor award for the film Bhediya and shared glimpses of the night on his Instagram account. Dadasaheb Phalke awards celebrate the brilliance and efforts of the Indian film industry by appreciating nascent projects and introducing those to mainstream audiences.
Anupam Kher shared a long note thanking the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival for the year’s award for him as the most versatile actor for the movie Kartikeya 2, The Kashmir Files, and Uunchai. He vowed to continue his hard work and dream and dedicated the award to the audiences who have loved him for 38 years now. Anupam Ji also said he was proud about The Kashmir Files winning the best film award.

Prior to the 2023 Event
Mumbai, Maharashtra, (Date) – India’s most prestigious award ceremony, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023 is nearing and like every year, this year too the grand event is expected to be full of memorable moments. Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) was founded in 2012 and established in 2016 to carry forward the legacy of Late Shri Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, lovingly known as Dadasaheb Phalke – The Father of Indian Cinema. It is India’s only independent international film festival, with a mission to celebrate the work of aspiring, young, independent & professional filmmakers.
The aim is to honour the lifetime effort of Shri Dadasaheb Phalke ji and so, the festival celebrates the brilliance of the Indian film industry by making an effort to acknowledge and aid nascent projects by bringing them to mainstream audiences. CM congratulates 'Harmony of Pines'
SHIMLA 13th February, 2023
Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has congratulated ‘Harmony of The Pines’ the Himachal Pradesh Police Orchestra Band for being selected for performing at the prestigious 'Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) awards ceremony to be held at Mumbai on 20 February 2023.
This is a matter of pride for the State that the Police Orchestra has made its appearance at National and International level in short span of time. A team of Himachal Pradesh Police Orchestra Band consisting of IGP Administration D.K. Yadav, AIG headquarters Kartikeyan Gokulchandran and Head Inspector of Band Vijay Kumar called on Chief Minister here today and apprised the Chief Minister about this achievement.
Chief Minister wished all success to Harmony of The Pines’ Himachal Pradesh Police Orchestra Band for their future endeavours.
