The other day when writing my blog the reason I got sunburnt was because of this MV, did anyone realize it? You’re all super sharp!

All of us we’re scorched like well cooked bread

How hot was it on the stage you ask? It was so hot that the shoes we were wearing as the outfit for the song melted! That’s why our shoes kept on making a slapping sound when we were dancing… ehehe

Blue skies, with a acrylic stage that matched the sky, along with our light blue outgit! Very Youthful!

The blue really leaves the impression of a summery song

When it was released we were in the middle of rehearsals for the our Hokkaido performance, I watched it secretly backstage with Io-chan (◜︎︎𖥦◝ )

The hook of the chorus has this rolling melody that really pulls you into the energy of the song! Especially when you’re dancing, and when you’re listening to it the brightness and painful sadness really come out.

For me, including the dance scene, this was pretty much the first time I was in an MV. Of course the video that was uploaded to the official nogizaka46 YouTube channel obviously had me in it but I still couldn’t believe it

When they were shooting the MV for ‘Zetsubou no ichibyou mae” Saku-tan and I were like ‘So this is what it must of felt like to shoot the MV’

The me at that time was probably wanting to look at this MV so much.

I couldn’t choose a single picture so it’s fine to just put them all together right

Digression:

At the part where we say “koi nante seigyo funou’ the camera moves out and inadvertently my skirt comes up and deep down I was like ‘oh no’ but when I watched the MV it looked really good so in the end everything worked out great.

The effort and strength of the staff is huge…I’m so glad that we were able to make such a wonderful MV together. Thank you so very much!!!!

We did songs that were reminiscent of Nogizaka’s history, Fresh summer songs, so doesn’t that make it the best setlist?

In Oide Shampoo everyone danced along with us during the hook of the song, when I saw everyone dancing, I did my best to use that as a way to show you my smile, but it turned into a laugh. (This is a secret but, when’'m nervous my face becomes stiff and I need to physically push my face into a smile, don’t tell anyone)

Seeing all the other performers and seeing the stage for the first time and being surrounded by all the staff was a fresh feeling. The venue already had this aura of hype and energy even before we came on stage, and so I wondered if there was anybody that had come to cheer us on? And to tell you the truth I was a little bit nervous on the wings of the stage.

I went around to the other members being like ‘I inject you with fighting spirit’ while gently hitting them on the back, but in reality, I thought my insides were going to become my outsides and so that’s why some of the other members were giving me side glances… lol

While still trembling, I managed to wobble onto the stage but when I saw my name on a towel raised up in the audience I felt at ease and all at once I was overflowing with happiness!

I’m glad I saw it ( Ꙭ)

While performing I got dragged along by the tension and energy of the crowd, so much so that I felt it on my skin and I was so glad and it was a lot of fun. It was thanks to all of you, so thank you so much!

That’s right, in the middle we did an MC where we introduced ourselves, of course there was a lot of people who didn’t know who I was and so I got advice on whether I should try and cram everything into my self introduction (ex. Doing something like ‘I’ve spotted a Teresa Panda!!’) and if I did do you think people would just push me to the sidelines of who they should oshi… incidentally I still used the word ‘discover' in my introduction.

Through my self-introduction I was able to discover a lot of you (^^)v

This was the first solo 5th generation event that we’ve done outside of Nogizaka.

To debut at such a major event, and of course it’s thanks to the fact that we hold the name of Nogizaka46 but even still I’m very grateful so thank you so much.

We’re still very far from the senior members but I want to hold the hands of these 11 people and head towards that goal.

*Midsummer National tour 🧊

This time we were in Hokkaido!

Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka and our 4th venue Hokkaido.

It’s gone by so fast and we’re already in the second half of our tour, once this period is over I’m going to be closely following the dates till I feel empty because the tour will be over… (..)

As expected of Hokkaido, even though it’s the middle of August and in the middle of summer the night are so cold that they make me shiver, it’s an irredeemable land that one should experience!

To tell you the truth, when I was in my second year of high school, my three friends and I went on a trip to Hokkaido. We went in April and the temperature was below freezing, and I only brought one coat with me so there I was standing in the snow completely frozen… that’s one of my memories from high school.

This pink Mao is probably doing the coreo for BanHaga, I feel like I recognize it from somewhere.

Backstage Nagi was worried stiff and nervous and in order to cheer her on we both become dwellers of darkness.

That’s right, this performance was probably the first? That I was nervous.

Before the 5th generation members went on stage I was given the opportunity to tell the other members about how I was feeling, but like the blog title, I created a script and kept repeating it in my head backstage ( ;,;)

Even still, in the end I couldn’t even say it the way I wanted to…but I feel like I’m able to tell that to everyone right now! What I said up on that stage will be a secret held between me and the people who attended the Hokkaido live ^ ^

To everyone that stood there at that venue I could really understand how amazing you all are, from here on I’m going to do my best to support and get supported by everyone, let’s go 💪🏽( ¨̮ 💪🏽)

Digression:

The food in Hokkaido is absolutely delicious! I read a lot of comments in the comment section regarding food in Hokkaido and I was really looking forward to trying some but it completely blew away my expectations. The most delicious thing I had was ‘Ikura-don’ it was a delicacy that surpasses the category of food and reach the realm of a true treasure chest…

When I was buying souvenirs, Hii-chan went on a binge shopping spree and seeing her have to send them back home was funny and weird, she was extremely generous to the shop staff! Is what I told her, she’s such a good kid!

I bought a single box of cookies and I’ve been eating them slowly, in order to not eat them all I try not to eat too many of them, but everytime I do I can’t help but cry at how delicious they are. Hokkaido is amazing…

“diet recommendation’

I’ve eaten so many delicious things recently and so I’m currently on a diet. Honestly though, my stomach is always growling and so I’ve found that whenever I eat anything delicious I have a tendency to start crying.

On this diet each one of my meals is like a solo documentary without musical accompaniment, everyone what do you think? ^ ^

Honestly I just realized my latest ranking is 8th…that’s right 8!

Hooray, like I though I’m loved by the number 8 ehehehe ( ◜︎︎𖥦◝ )

The 8 that I’m referring to is from the 372nd episode of Nogizaka Under Construction, 5th generation sports athlete ranking

I was in last place at the end of the first half and I was really depressed but I’m glad that I was able to make a comeback.

As expected my downfall was due to the 50m dash… I thought my running style was fast but I wasn’t moving forward at all -by mom

To all the patients with Tereru disease let’s give up on running, and if we do then I’ll have one less weakness.

The key to me pulling myself out from last place was the relay… team natural spring water did their best 🚰

As expected the pressure put on by Saku-tan was amazing, to stay so energetic all the way until the goal! I’m glad that I did trip and fall during the race (sweats)

The first time I participated in a recording for Nogizaka Under Construction, Bananaman-san called Saku-tan Bike Kawasaki Sakura…I now understand what they meant! It was just foreshadowing for this event right?

When I become a Kamen Rider I want Saku-tan to be my bike, you probably have no idea what I’m talking about.

The reversal happened after I lost a close battle…but after watching things look up for me Io-chan decided to create a dirty strategy, I was super shocked at that Ioki Mao

(TL Note: what she actually says is Odoroki Momo no Ki Ioki Mao which is a pun on a pretty much dead idom ‘Odoroki Momo no Ki Sanshou no ki’ which means to be very surprised)

…It was a really good battle, fueh (whipping sweat pose)

I feel like whenever I open my playlist this song is one that I often play first! The chorus of the song is really good and I always listen to it. If you like Paradise Kiss then this one also has amazing lyrics and you can identify with the song. To people who don’t know they’ll surely fall in love with it

In a world where I didn’t audition for Nogizaka I would listen to this song and cry, I’m glad that while in a position as a member of Nogizaka46 I was able to learn about this song.

By the way today I’m listening to LiSA-san’s Homura while writing this blog. We moved around a lot during the tour, and so I’ve had a lot of time to listen to music. I’m thankful for all the recommendations from everyone!
