small funfact: yesterdays IG stories of Isi and Sascha were filmed at “Fliegeberg” (Lilienthalpark) and if I remember right, Finn did also record his shadow boxing IG stories there. Maybe you remember him running up those stairs.

Lilienthal-Gedenkstätte - Fliegen wie die Vögel by Pascal Volk Via Flickr: Auf dem `Fliegeberg' `lernte' Otto Lilienthal das fliegen.

Die erste Weltkugel auf dem Basaltblock war aus Bronze. Diese wurde im 2. Weltkrieg eingeschmolzen und anderweitig verwendet. Im Jahr 1955 gab es eine steinerne Ersatzkugel. 1990 wurde die Anlage restauriert, und wieder eine bronzene Weltkugel aufgestellt.

a walk in Lilienthalpark Berlin The Fliegeberg, also known as Lilienthalberg, is an approximately 12-metre high mountain in the Lichterfelde district of Berlin in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf region. The foot of the Fliegeberg is 47.2 m and the highest point is 59.4 metres. Karl Wilhelm Otto Lilienthal was a pioneer of German aviation.
