Get to know Midoriko (Aoko's mom)

- Midoriko Nakamori (Her name mean "Green", yeah her daughter "Blue"

- 40 years old in recent chapter, as her birthday is the main event, working as prosecutor.

Midoriko argued a lot about their work with Ginzo when they just got married. but she's really Love Ginzo, even called him "GIN-CHAN! when she's with him"

- Silly, Kind but hard working, she worked till a late night when Aoko is sleeping, that's why audience's barely see Aoko with her family.

- She's sleeping all two days in Sat-Sun.

- She is punctuality, and wake her husband to work, with making breakfast before go to work.

-while her birthday, Midoriko is upset with Kid because her husband won't attend her 40th birthday dinner because of him. Therefore, she decided to take part in the attempt to capture Kid this time..

- Kaito knew that she's real threat, she's smarter, observing and could tell a different in second.

I decided to check out Magic Kaito 'cause I got impatient. Main thing I'm loving is how Kaito has all the skill and charm of a classic gentleman thief, but all of the gremlin energy of teenager who's clearly running a high of adrenaline whenever he's pulling off a heist. Now I want to see him meet Conan even more.

Happy April 1st! In a few timezones still.

One of my more ambitious projects is mixing the old FUNimation English dub of Detective Conan/Case Closed with the remastered and HD footage available on Blu-ray in Germany. I haven't actually completed very many episodes, but I wanted to mix Episode 76 for today! The dub script here is pretty fun.

This is kind of a Thing with Nakamori in general: he's a grab-bag of parts that simultaneously make him the biggest clown in the cast and the most tragic. For starters, consider—does he suck at his job because he's just that dumb, or does he not want to believe someone so close to his family could betray him that long, that constantly, grinning all the while?

It's hard to tell if Gosho ever meant anyone to read between the lines with this guy—he's perfectly functional as a "just" a scaled-down Zenigata or first-draft Kogoro. But even that's not without weight. Here's a Zenigata, no less Invested in the chase, that lives in a world where Lupin actually can and did die. And he doesn't have clue number one. He thinks himself the world's number-one Kidologist, and his supposed archenemy('s ghost) has only this to say.

Well that is certainly one interesting explanation as to why Aoko's mother hasn't been around this whole time..... it's because she sleeps A LOT!!!

Midori Nakamori, the wife of Ginzo Nakamori and Aoko's mother has been largely absent from Magic Kaito, so much in in fact everyone thought she was DEAD! Even some of the characters themselves!

It turns out the reason behind her mysterious absence is surprisingly quite simple. Like Ran's mother, Eri Kisaki, Midori is a lawyer, but unlike Eri, Midori becomes extremely exhausted after working herself to the point of complete and utter exhaustion that she needs a LARGE amount of sleep in order to regain her complete energy. (She even has 4 alarm clocks to wake her up)

That is definitely an interesting way to explain her absence after all this time, but at least this means that Aoko has a happy family with both her parents happily married together... unlike Ran's parents who are still separated and too stubborn to work on their issues.

Okay, I went away for what felt like a day but was really a week, spent my time hell-bent excited for Detective Conan Movie 27 to come out this past Friday. I opened up tumblr and I’m literally overwhelmed with people talking about a reveal of some kind… WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!? I don’t actually want to be spoiled, I just want to watch the movie so I can understand why everyone is freaking the fuck out.
